So a bit of a departure here in that it's a real bass guitar (apologies to Dave Marshall in advance!) My trusty Ovation Celebrity provides the acoustic which is spread across the stereo image, EZ drums and EZkeys (I should be on commission) and some other patches from Logic. The solo is on the acoustic setting of my Godin XTSA.

Description : Continuous chill-flow with a bolero-like build-up that was originally inspired by an ambient-track called Libra that was released in the nineties by an artist called Dfuse. I was and still am a very fond of that track that gains it's hypnotic strengt from a 'ripple-effect' based on an endless loop. I placed this idea in a new context using middle-eastern and African voices voices and exotic strings combined with rock-guitar in a loose Hendrix-style, hoping to create a 'Fifty Shades Of Grey meets Scheherazade'-atmosphere. The poemfragments are by Pablo Neruda, spoken by KR Silkenwood. 'Please Hurt Me' was recorded and mixed in the summer of 2012.

Description : Here's a new track I finished yesterday. It has become a high energy lounge kinda thing. I used acapellas from Elina Milan as well as Patricia Edwards. Furthermore, Short Bus Music provided me with a very nice guitar sample.Please let me know your thoughts about the track. I am always trying to improve myself, and your feedback is is essential for that :-).

Description : This track was inspired by Jimi Hendrix' song 'Rainy Day, Dream Away' from the album Electric Ladyland. Towards the end of his life Hendrix was wandering in a more jazz-orientated direction. My tribute is a fantasy: jazzlicks combined with Hendrix-style wah-guitar. I am very grateful to Looperman-member Aereas whose loop 'Jazz Groove'was the basis for this track.

Description : Remastered 1-31-20Tracked down the master and remixed it with what I have learned so far and took out the JamStix 3 and replaced it with Addictive Drums.
Edit 7-14-12 Took the kind advice and reigned in the guitar levels a bit.
Edit:7-8-12 Remixed the whole thing.

Description : It is once again a stunning vocal performance from Patricia. Listen carefully to the lower range of notes this lady is capable of singing with ease and amazing texture. She is truly gifted and talented and it's is always a very rewarding experience collaborating with her. Thank you Patricia.I have used EZkeys for the piano (a recent acquisition) and EZdrums for the kit. The remaining patches are from Logic Pro 9. The single note pick guitar rhythmic thing is my Casio MG510 and the solo (with a patch from Logic) my Godin xtsa. There is a guiro, some congas and a triangle for additional percussion too.
I have tried to be as minimal as I dare with this and hope the lazy feel and mix provides a nice backdrop for the vocals. I've put the genre as pop but I'm really not sure!!

Description : This one morphed into a semi-sad tribute to the U.S. military overseas. It has a plodding, almost funereal tone, that slides into a quiet anthem, and back into a sad tone. Minor2Go's low piano hits at 11 secs. in.. Toloache's piano is at 56 secs, with Short Bus's Drop D Guitar joining in to set the tone.The guitar tunes tracks and mixes listed here are copyright and may not be used in your projects.
