Description : some pretty minimal but funky piece of music with a very strong bassline (at least I feel it this way) and only two synth lines ... on top of it you hear a poem by Effluence (a million thx for your wonderful voice!!!) ... drums from sony 8packs and from betamonkey ... synths and bass, composition and arrangement by me ... and bad news for my regular listeners: NO guitar from me this time ... Description : this track is a blend of very electronic sounding filtered guitars, syncopated rhythms, some oriental influences and jazzy guitar vibes .... maybe it can be called electronic funk or something like that, I don't know, and it doesn't matter, right?? the arrangement is pretty complex, a lot of different parts and sounds, no easy job I have to say, but I think the result was worth all the work I put in ..... as usual everything played by me except the drums (loops from sony 8packs) .... thx in advance for every single listen!!!! enjoy the music ..... peace, rei

Description : UPDATE: so here's the version with vocals .... I used an a capella from Eshar, a brilliant poem!!! I really love that lyrics, they take the song to a higher level ... many many thx Elaine for your permission!!! with the vocals I also changed the title of the track (former working title: sweet nightmare). Description : another time I try my hands on a genre I'm not very familiar with, and I'm not even sure if this is really Techno ... so correct me if I'm wrong .... anyway .... I used drumloops from Sony, Loopcache and a looperman fellow called Yisraelee (thank you!!!), and though the track sounds strictly electronic everything else you hear are guitarloops (believe it or not) run through gates and filters ...... it's a very driving track with a lot of energy ..... so, enjoy the ride!!!! peace, rei .... Description : jack russell uploaded this track a while ago and asked for advice how to improve it, I thought a bassline would be good, recorded a few loops for him using Native Kore Player ..... he sent me back his mix with that loops and I added a guitar line to it ...... that's the story of this track!! ..... what began as a hiphop track with some jazz influence ended up in an easy listening jazz instrumental (but still with some hiphop flavour) ...... Description : basically this is a new version of my track "turn it on", at least it's based on it, I cut out the guitar, added some arp melodies, changed the bassline a little bit .... the result is actually a new track that fits better into the electronic genre, so I changed also the name .... have fun with it, peace, rei .... Description : well, back again with a new track .... it's a version of Devodale's "The Silent Getaway" .... I added one guitarline (it's one take, no overdubs ...), an additional snare and a cymbal (only on two points ...) .... I really love the original, and I hope that my additions make it even better, to be honest, I'm really happy the way it turned out .... it's easy to work with a perfect basic track like this one .... thx Devodale for allowing me to add my perspective ... Description : I never saw the grand canyon before, but if I should be there some day this would be my soundtrack for it ...... I used one drumloop by djhatim (djhatim-8882 to be exact ...) and changed the handclap of it ..... the rest is me ..... that drumloop has a lot of power, I wanted to increase that, so this track turned out pretty heavy .... hope you enjoy that too ........... peace, rei

Description : I found a drumloop on the acid homepage that immediately gave me the idea for a lick, then I messed around with fl7, and this is the result .... drums and percussion loops from sony acid, synths made with fl7 by me, guitars recorded as usual with line6podXTlive .... mixed in acid studio ... personally I think it's a real good one, but it was a lot of work to lay it down the way I wanted it ....
