Description : this track is a blend of very electronic sounding filtered guitars, syncopated rhythms, some oriental influences and jazzy guitar vibes .... maybe it can be called electronic funk or something like that, I don't know, and it doesn't matter, right?? the arrangement is pretty complex, a lot of different parts and sounds, no easy job I have to say, but I think the result was worth all the work I put in ..... as usual everything played by me except the drums (loops from sony 8packs) .... thx in advance for every single listen!!!! enjoy the music ..... peace, rei

Well I'm back again at last, and what a delight to find new work on your track page!

This is a departure from your signature sound, but only slightly. If I heard this and had to guess, you'd be a choice in the top 5. Why is that? Not signature, but still has your presence somehow. I think it's how you "speak" with music - and not just your guitar.

Always a real treat. Faved and downloaded. Thank you so much!

well, many of that funky electronic sounding lines are played with guitar, run through some filters ... I guess that's why a good ear can recognize them as rei4real ... haha
thx a lot for this review!!

Nice and mellow ... I loved the guitar arrangements and melodic line. Electronic funk? Who knows ... no matter, this very good. A smooth track with a nice mix of influences. Great job.

Ahhh man this is so cool!..the touch of an Arabian scale really blows this into the Middle Eastern fusion direction..no matter where I am or what time of day it is..after 1/2 a bar I can recognise rei music and if it's a guitar phrase even less..I've been in the radio chat room at mixposure and one of your tracks or a loop you've made suddenly plays and it's always the same fantastic instant recognition...all the notes come out..are they rei notes or notes made by rei?..it doesn't matter they all belong to you....superb work mate!..cheers Dave

This seems like quite a departure from your usual style. However, like all of your work, it is flawless. What a great mix of genres and sounds. I love it. Reminds me of something McCartney might have done for London Town.

    Very enjoyable piece

Description : I'm very glad to upload yet another collab work with maestro Tumbleweed! This one is quite special cause it embraces Ed's wonderful idea of bringing together some unusual instruments from various parts of the world to find out how well they can work together and also to what degree of harmony they can mix with more standard instruments like sax or piano for example....and so here are presented the Chinese Ghuzeng, Harmonium, Zither, Frame drum, Jingle stick and Wooden whistle among others...so you see the title "No Borders" is truly appropriate. I hope you will find it interesting!:) As always all my thanks go to my dear friend Ed, without whom this exciting journey would never happen !

Description : Real guitars and basses played by me. A short, yet tasty bit of MIDI piano and cello with about 7 programmed drum kits and a few drum loops. It's really a metric shit-ton of layered guitars and different textures. This track, sadly, is also a "Goodbye" to my little Acoustic 3/4 Fender Squier. I've been serving as a pawn-shop for my sister-in-law for about 4 years. Not a guitar you'd seek out, but it's been a friend and has been in most of my tracks. The bright side is, I will be replacing it with something better, and full sized. Acoustic guitar suggestions are as welcome as track comments!
