As always rei great job. Have you ever done anything that's not good? Great guitar work and the voices fit your description perfect. Take Care rei and thanks for your uploaded loops man.
It's appreciated.
Gord
Mate your descripton is spot on what you wrote about this one, beautfil intro, very ambient and relaxing piece, good beat, guitar work is spot, arrangement and clarity first class, extremely good listen, ty for sharing your massive talent my friend...fav'd...Peace...Estefaano...
thx a lot buddy!!
haven't seen you for a while here, so I'm happy to see you back again, and more happy that you took the time to check out this track!!!
peace, rei
You must know you're the one I download lots of guitar loops; if it's really you playing, you play great; not published anything yet, of course, send you message as soon as I succeed. As usual, your sound on Voices is great, and I myself share your statement regarding those mysterious voices in our heads; sure have to listen to them.
I'm always on the lookout for some genre-bending music, since I love cross-overs, this one sastisfied my craving for the night. Nice work man, you're on the right path.
well, 30 % good ears, 70 % hard work I guess, that's how I get a good mix ... at least I hope so every time ... ;-)
thx a lot for your review Brian!!!
peace, rei
you're right Stephen, the voices are a sound from native kore, but they're not distorted ... ;-)
thx a lot for taking the time to listen and for your review!!
peace, rei
So, you've gone from 1 track posted a couple weeks ago to 39 now? It's daunting trying to choose what to listen to next!
This one I've enjoyed many, many times on Devodale's radio stream, and is probably my favorite track of yours to date (that I've heard). It's also one of my all time favorite Ambient tracks.
Your texturing here is awesome. Like you, I don't find the voices scary, but unsettling and this creates a very interesting tension that is reconciled by the emotion of your guitar. Like it howls and cries for the voices. The guitar also share qualities that remind me of David Gilmore's work - grounded in primal Blues and moved out into post-psychedelic experience.
well, actually there's only one new upload here, all the other tracks were set inactive while I was away, except "follow the sunset" ... this way I avoided that people loose points for their reviews (and you know, it's many of them ...)
anyway ... thank you for that awesome review!!!
it's also one of my own favorite tracks, I'm really very satisfied with it ... you know, sometimes you achieve it to lay down 100% of what you imagine, this is one of that rare moments ...
Gilmour ... wow ... I really love his playing (like millions do), but I'm not sure if he would be as happy with this comparison as I am ... lol
thank you!!!!
Hi Rei,
Well, checking out the Voices tune you recommended that you updated.
Staring out, the voices are strange, like little kids talking but a cool effect. Nice guitar sound, good background beat and the other instruments filling.
A lot of creativity I feel here. Are you sure your not from another planet visiting us? lol
Randy
I really liked this. It reminded of what an interlude to a Mars Volta typed band would be, and I love The Mars Volta. Well done, to be sure. I could listen to this for quite some time.
my favorite track of yours so far. the whole concept of it is absolutely awesome. did you just slow down tracks of the voices and change the pitches? its really really cool. when robot's bass comes in and your smooth guitar awesome.
Your have the most important thing for making music. A creative mind. And next is ability. Ability to take what you come up with and get it down so the rest of us can hear it. Very nice. Real feeling in the lead guitar. I'm lucky in the fact that I understand what the voices in my head are saying. Even though part of the time they think they're comedians. But at least I was able to perform an Exorcism on the ones that kept saying "Kill, Kill, Kill" I feel much better now that those ones are gone.
so creative my friend. i absolutely love the fx-vox all the lil things that bring depth to this masterpeice! amazing melody blend with the synth/guitar.
fantastic arrangement and i guess this means SYNTH LOOPS!!!??? ...from you?...hope so. cause this rocks and will be fav'd
if i lived near a nuclear power plant i would give you 3 thumbs up!!!lol
gizz
thx buddy!!
yeah, I have a masterkeyboard now ... and soon I will come up with some synth loops ... at the moment I just try to figure out how it all works, but I'm learning fast!! peace, rei
somebody mentioned needing some snares but the sparsity of the drums is one of the things I like. plus i thought with the glitch loops used, more drums might interfere with your sound here. and the sound is beautiful, especially around 2:40 when you bring your awesome guitar-playing into the mix.
The track never came off as dark to me. It's actually quite an inspiring mix. Fav'd + Downloaded. Cheers, bro.
a work of art as always. it rolls along nicely without any problems what so ever. I love the mellow pad in the backdrop aswell as the voices. guitar and piano is immaculate and beautiful. i agree with 22catch the pictures u paint are sureal and delightful. i am jealous of your detailing
keep it up mate.

Cool Rei....when a musician has his hands on more of the elements they meld into one and reflect off each other..a great addition to the palette...I can see more space vibes entering your work from now on......maximo groove!...cheers planet
Description : Headphones are recommended for a more immersive experience :P - - - A weary American soldier is walking through the remains of what used to be a small town in the middle east, only to rediscover the horrible reality that sometimes war can affect even the ones who have no part in it.

This is my first attempt at creating a virtual environment to tell a story and convey emotion. Hope you enjoy! Comments are welcome!
Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice
Description : This track contains several loops, all of them are from looperman artists - listed below. I don't know if "ambient" fits well for it, but i get most loops from that category. :)
Inspired by the Final Fantasy series and my ex girlfriend. Hope you will enjoy it (not my ex! :D). As always, free to use for a song, any opinions-critics welcomed... UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!
Description : Working with DarkKZ by Beatskillz, Synthmaster 2.9, Waves Bass Fingers, Microtonic drum synth, Izotope nectar 3 elements, Ozone 8 Elements & several other plugings I'm trying for the first time. The vocal samples are from Ghosthack, LANDR & Sampleswap. Hope you like it. Cheers.
Post script: The word "Ambient" has come up several times in the comment section for this, so I switched the genre to that. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it.
Description : Ambient, psychedelic chill out rock or something or rather. Lyrics, vocals, guitars and keyboards myself. One drum loop used (free Loopmasters ambient pack). If you want a bit of a back story on the words check the lyric page.
Description : I made this with Garageband and was inspired by Anime music, such as Naruto. And if you noticed one little part is very similar to one of the melodies.
Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
Bye
Description : Ambient, Chill Out, Cinematic .... I´m not sure ... Take your headphones. Close your eyes. Start the engines and have a ride into the unknown. A spacy little trip from somewhere into anywhere outside. - U_P_D_A_T_E - I made a video to this track. So you can enjoy now the flight with open eys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON4u0bRZJ4k

I also really liked the distorted voices. Was that made with kore player?
As Eshar said, it is a bit darker than normal, but you have the guitar in there :)
Nice song, different to what I hear normally. Sounds like a soundtrack to something.

But in my opinion you must add some snares,
and you need to write a ambiant drams too,
So try...
