Wow, what a great track, recording sounds pretty sweet, nice and even. Pauline has a great voice. I went to your website and watched a few vids. Echo Beach? YES!! Haven't heard that song in so long, lol! Well done on the cover!
Great to hear from you! All is well thank you and now firmly established back in the UK. Glad you enjoyed the track and "pretty sweet" is praise indeed. Thank you. Pauline will be knocked out with your comments too. Thanks on her behalf.
Fantastic track Behnam. I thought my coffee was wearing off when things slowed down, lol. Very beautiful track, peaceful and happy feeling. Cool effects on the instruments and the slow change in the middle was unexpected. I always enjoy percussion in tracks, it really brightens up a song and makes it so much more interesting to listen to. Enjoyed this very much!!
Wayne , as U know I learn from your generation & so honoured I am to see your possitive idea about this trials & its materials ,hahaha your cool explanation abouT your coffee about that bendinG part in which music totally bends minus 27semitones = - 243 syntonic comma of didymus will be rememberable for me . thnx for your presence, worthwhile attention, percept & commenT .& I'm minded to hvae an exclusive appreciation abouT all your helps & musical advices & also loops in our email swap here to my friend .
best wishes of mine .___Behnam
I love pop music, good pop music like this though. Nice vocal track. Catchy beat, I like when the guitars come in, they really fatten the song up. Cool piano, really carries the song imho. I like all kinds of music whether it's live instruments or electronic. Sounds good!
Damn, wasn't expecting that! Pretty cool track dude, lots of intensity, I had to give this a couple of listens. Very professional sound, mix is spot on. Excellent track!!
Very nice song. Great use of the loops, all seem to enhance the song in some way. You have a lovely voice and you did a great job on the singing, in both languages. Very sweet track! Seems to cut off right at the end
Hi Wayne :)
I'm happy you mention the loops cause they make everything in that song .
Thx a lot for your positive review, even if I know the vox could have been better mixed .
Now that was a nice dreamy waltz!! Some cool rock sounds here, not too bad sounding for electric instruments. Great musical idea, driving beats and ripping guitars, that always works!
That's a pretty crazy sound you got there! I would have no idea how to create such sounds unless they were presets, I'm impressed. I don't listen to much dubstep(just here) and I notice so many different takes on the genre. Pretty upbeat and some interesting musical ideas, nice job!
I think the song works well all the way through. The piano sounds nice and it's a nice melody line that works well with the vocals, which are outstanding! Cool track, like it! I read crucethus' comment about George Michael's song, haha, I can see his point but that's a good compliment in my opinion!!
This is cool, a little rnb, hh, dubstep and all creatively packaged together. Nice track, mixed well and I think it has lots of potential. Glad to see ya back!
Nice collab fellas! Cool groove and a great jam, especially that heavy breathing by Zappo!! My friends in a band back in the 80's wrote a song about mr. Holmes but it was a fast rock tune, lol, he was a legend and worthy of songs!!
Nicely put together, nice funky sound, love it Dave!
Hey Wayne..thanks man!..when I play slap bass (which is rarely)I guess it always reminds me of porn music or Sienfeld or something like that, hence the tribute track...most people have seen a flic of his I would imagine! lol...cheers mate, much appreciated. Dave :)
Thanks Wayne for the compliment and stopping by to take a listen. I really appreciate it. This was one of those tracks where everything just seemed to fall right into place when I was creating it.
Since we have been discussing waveforms in the forums, might as well take a look at this one. : ) In my opinion, it looks a bit over compressed and sounds a bit flat. If you cut back on the compression you will start to hear the kick drum and snare start to pop out a bit more and the acoustic will sit better and well, everything else will stand out more. There isn't much dynamics here and it almost sound distorted. Now I'm just giving you some constructive criticism, don't hate me, lol!!
Cool track, it has everything in a track I love, acoustic guitars, cool lead fills, great singing and catchy beat. And it's a great collab as well so congrats on that too. I think you could get a smoother sounding mix, that's all!
Cheers theHumps. I have re-mastered it again lol. Hope it is better. Shame to spoil a good track with naff mastering. Still learning so all the help I can get my friend is greatly appreciated. I love all your stuff so thanks for the compliment.
Damn, it's been a while! Good to hear things are right where you left off, liking the feel and vibe of this one, laid back and chillin' music. Don't be such a stranger to these parts. Take care!
Thank you Wayne! I always say "i like different points of view". After listening the original version, I said "Here needs some power!" So, that's what i did! :D
I agree with Kenny about how nice your voice sounds and about being a little flat in a few spots but it was still a very nice track to listen to. I think with a little more practice you will figure it out and then the sky's the limit!!
I noticed some hiss at the beginning that fades out in a few seconds. I used a plugin called "adaptive noise reduction" in Audition 3, that when applied would do the same thing. It aggravated me to hear that hiss so what I used to do was reverse the track and as long as I left a few seconds of silence at the end of the track, the noise reduction would do that fading out thing during the silence. Then you reverse the track back to normal and chop off the hiss fade off the end of the track, leaving you with no hiss anywhere during the music. Not sure if that's whats happening here but it sounds like you can fix that minor issue.
Thank you. I was trying a whole heap of programs trying to get rid of it and they weren't working (I'm not really good with editing lol) but I will try what you suggested. Cheers
Great collab guys! Great singing and powerful music combine into some kind of musical cosmic sauce of delight, lol!! Sweet guitar tones and a great mix, excellent!!
What a lovely track, the piano intro was stirring enough but when the orchestration and pad/fx started I was blown away. This could work in so many genres of movies as a cinematic piece it is so well constructed. Once again, I'm impressed with your talent!
honoured to see someone who is as a master to me has a possitive Idea abouT it .Wayne your presence here is so beautifull for me and U know that master positive Idea works as a certification for students .thanx alot for your kndness words , beautifull perception, time and comment man , accept my best wishes .respectfully.___Behnam.
I agree with Bear, this has a Neil Young feel to it, which is a big compliment. Loved the way you ended my guitar loop, that was cool. Big effects on the acoustic, sounds good. I'm switching over to Ableton 9 as my main daw and I'm playing a lot with the eq's, reverbs and compressors trying to get a bigger acoustic sound. This is very well put together and a great mix. Nice use of electronic sounds that add to the feel of the song so much. You seem to have a good feel for what works in that regard.
dear Wayne , according to your loop, your opinion about this one ,is an exclusive important comment for me.
and I'm really hnoured to see you've liked it,cause really without that briliant loop, composing ot this track was impossible for me .also here too I should appologize you cause first I had frgot to appreciate you for your oops, and again also I should have an excusive appreciation, cause your loops which I've downloaded them, has been very instructive for me.thanx a lot for every thing,my best wishes & greatest regards,Sincerely.___Behnam.

This is great! I don't listen to much of this music but the intensity and madness here is just great! Your vocals were pretty impressive, I don't see how people can do that without blowing out their vocal chords but you seem to be able to do it. Creative track, very well put together, great guitar, a sick drum track, cool ending and fun, great job!
Any song about beer has to be a good song, right? lol!! I am going to download this so I want to say thanks for sharing, cheers!
Nice, totally enjoyed it. Loved the vocals and lyrics. You are quite talented and look forward to hearing more! Gonna dl this so just wanna say thanks for sharing!
Really nice track, production is great. Great vocals, reminds me a bit of Sting. Liked the effects on the vocals, gives them a nice depth in the mix. Well done!!
