I've been an REM fan since the ep with Gardening at Night and 1,000,000, think it's called Chronic Town. I thought the Monster album was kinda dark and something different from those guys. I really like the cover. It has elements from the original but you added so much of the Spivkurl touch that it really takes on a life of it's own. Excellent job Spiv, the vocals were very cool and out front in the mix, great job!
Hey Wayne, thanks for joining me for the listen! I've been into REM for a long time too, they're sort of underrated. I agree that Monster is pretty dark. I thought it was really cool to find out that each song's vocals were done with a different microphone on that album. I'm glad you don't mind the out front vocals, I used a pretty long chain of effects to give them that edge. Thanks so much for DL'ing and the fave, I appreciate the listen!
Very pretty, interesting effects on the drums. I love the delay on the piano as well. I must say the effects on this track really are outstanding. Cool track!
You are so talented Benham, it almost makes my head spin. I have been having a hard time playing some tracks and getting around on the site, even on both of my computers. Unfortunately, this is one I couldn't play until today and it is amazing as usual. I apologize for not commenting earlier. You have some incredible talents that I will never be able to have. This is such a beautiful idea, I tip my hat to you, again!
Wayne my friend thnx a;ot for attention and presence & also encouragements and those cool kidding about yourself's guitar playing althoughT I've listened more track from U to can believe this humbled comment of yours about your lack of ability for playing this selfplayed trial of mine ,but U've written what I usualy feel while listening to your harminica and guitar(s instrument that I play both)but whenever I listen your musiX & wonder how a throughbred msician can use them such proper & considered to make various atmspher for his traX...Wayne I' gratefull of U & your time & warm worthy
& hearty comment & send U my best wishes as usual & this time + obeisance. take care___Behnam
I like songs that have a lot of space and allow the vocals to shine through like this one does. You have one of the most beautiful voices on the loop, very professional. I like that modulation change around 3:00, very nice. Interesting effects and sounds you used. Very beautiful track Carole!
You're right, leaving some space for vocals to "breathe" and the music to blossom out is highly important, and I confess I was not really aware of that before my sweetheart told me that I sang too much, lol .
I'm very happy you enjoyed this, Wayne and I thank you warmly for your so gentle comment .
What's not to like about Patricia's vocals, she is awesome! Nice intro for beginners. I like the overall tone to this, kind of a bass driven track. Nice choice of synths and pads as well. Nice recording, sounds great!
I have no idea what the little big planet album is but it sounds very contradictory. ;) I like this, peaceful, uplifting and very pretty. Piano songs always work for me. Nice orchestration to give it a big sound. Nice job putting this together!
Those effects on the vox are very cool and creative. You are quite an original my friend! This is one of the more original tracks I've heard, excellent job my friend!
I respect you so much especially because you listen to things that are way different from what you create, I mean that in the best of ways! I'm very happy to receive one fave from you! It was fun to effect the vocals on this song, so I'm glad you enjoyed it! Take care my friend!
Really loved the whole dynamic build up of the song. It's a wonderful track, loved all your instrument choices and the quality of the mix. Sweet piece of music, thanks for sharing!
Very interesting vocals, kinda weird but I can't stop listening for some reason. Appropriate name for the song, lol. Cool beat and a great listen to go with my morning coffee.
Love those short sax fills and those vocal fills as well. This has such an upbeat and happy feel to it and is a good way to jump start my day at the loop! Nice clean, jazzy feel to the guitar, some fun percussion and an excellent mix, you have it all working here Scott!
Tower of Power, haven't heard that name in years, nice cover!
Thanks allot, Wayne. I loved reading your thoughts. Yeah, you don't hear about T of P much, but I think they are still going strong. David Garibaldi is my favorite funk drummer and has been with them for years. Another of my favorites by them is, 'What is Hip.' Great drumming on that one, too.
These are not instruments I am familiar with but ones that I do enjoy listening to. I liked all of the parts to the song, the ending beat was a bit different though. It has a live feel to it, like there is a few Benhams sitting around jamming together!! That would be cool to see!!
Another great job Benham, you always open my eyes wider to music every time I visit your tracks page.
I liked the bagpipes. I read your reply to phatkatz4 about a bagpipe loop pack. Would you be so kind as to email that link to me? I think I might use those in the future.
oops ! my friend Wayne !why U don't say anything to me !
I'm really sorry in fact really ashamed for haven't answered this comment of yours...in fac hadn't seen ....

Nice intro leading to a beautifully played piano piece. Thought the effects behind the piano were effective in the first half and added just the right amount of interest without overpowering the piano track. Liked the combination of the flute and the piano, they work well together.
Nice track, very subdued and mysterious at times, enjoyed this very much Benham!
Wayne always reading such analysis from throughbred musicians like U whose beautifull perception has always been worthy for me is greaT & woerthy of greatest appreciations.this pianO in Bb in written not played as U can underestand from quality ( I'm not convinced abut quality of track in no dimension )beside that first error & trial of mine on native american flutes that I have ever love its sound but have never seen that flutes , made one of my good memories in this virtual little world which is called aite by us humans, and your comment made that memomry more bautifull for me .thnx for presemce , attention & shared perception in commenT which will remain in my mind and this musiX's mind too Wayne.all the bests.___Behnam
Wow, this is a real gem! Loved everything about this track from the singing to the guitar lead to the overall composition and recording of the track. Great job!
Very cool feel and vibe to this track. It's soulful and jazzy, sort of acid jazz feel to this one. Interesting panning on the vox, great job with the singing. This is great chillin' out music which is what I'm doing right now so everything is about perfect, thanks!
Very cool track, the mix, the arrangement, production...all sounding great. I always like this style of rock, it's melodic and hard and thrashy at the same time. Enjoyed it very much. Great job on the bass track.
Interesting change of pace at the end but it works to lift it up and changes the mood and feel to a much more positive upbeat feel. Pretty song, gave it a few listens, nice job!.
When djsltuk said it was a nice composition he meant the song was put together well, it was composed nicely. It was a compliment and I have to agree with him!
yes i underestand what djsltuk is trying to say .
but i don't find the reasins why you have translated that for me ?
if you look he has called me Steve in comment.

Hey Par-Magnus! Well it's been a while since I've seen you here, good to see you my friend, hope you are well!
Great song, it has a great solid rock vibe. Love the guitar hook, very catchy. Always good to hear your music, especially that guitar tone. Nice mix, sounds good!
Thanks, I'm fine. I've been working, sailing, skiing and frustrated over the fact that the looperman site isn't totally compatible with my computer – hence the absence. Again, thank you for dropping by, listening and sharing your thoughts – I'm much obliged. /pmk
This is really cool, you put a few nice changes together and it has a new age music feel to me. I love this kind of music, atmospheric, ambient, a little trippy. I agree with sterixx, I wish it were longer, nice job!
Short pieces of music can be very powerful and can impact the listener in so many individual ways. I never know what to expect when I listen to one of your songs but I always know I will be drawn in and take a little musical trip, thanks to you!!
Always a great time when I listen in on your latest upload, and an interesting concept behind the song, thanks for sharing your insight into the track. Take care Benham!
