Description : Recently I did a very stripped down set at a birthday party. This track was part of it. Consisting only of 5 tracks with one of them only playing for a few seconds it was ideal. So I took out the short string section at the beginning leaving the body of the song which is only 4 tracks. The original is on my myspace.

So there you have it. Sometimes less really is more I guess.

Description : THIS IS THE FINAL VERSION OF MY TRACK "In paradise".

I've been working on and off this track for over a year now. Each time I've never been fully satisfied... until now. This is a 10 minute remix of a track that was originally 2 minutes long. Its also my first time using pitcher and newtone on my voice (hopefully it won't be a regular thing and I can use my actual voice in the future though)

The first three minutes of this track is the introduction, starting off with a wierd panning drumloop made with a few electro drum sounds that came with fl studio, and slowly adding more sounds to it.

The following 6 minutes are me playing around with loads of different drum loops, and my own voice.

The last two minutes or so is an outtro, ending with the same drumloop as in the start.

The guitar was made using string theory and image lines "Hardcore" plugin, the piano is a heavily filtered FL keys, the pads are four filtered samples, and the strings and bass were made with synth1- arguably the best freeware synth out there. The drums were manually placed into the FPC then sequenced.

Description : As soon as I started laying out the sample tracks for this tune, the title came to mind. I used some PrimeLoops Samples and a sample from a Computer Music Magazine Sample Disk. I also recorded a visti string synth. So please have a listen, and enjoy it till the sun comes out.

Description : Decided after playing my dusty ol guitar to write a d and b track with a more musical feel. Decided which key the tune was gonna be in and went from there... a much better approach! This track has a nice string section, like a liquid d and b track but the Drums and bass are more like Jump up . It's definitely got a club vibe to it.... as usual tell me what you think and happy 2011. Think this may be a good year!

Description : This is the latest song I am working on (October 2010). I used a couple of loops from MINOR2GO. I actually re-wrote the piano part because It sounded wierd when I slowed it down to 130 bpm. I used MINOR2GOs string loop without rewriting it. The song has a nice piano intro and then a little intro solo before the whole band breaks in. Drop me a review if you get the chance. Thanks!

Description : Went into more of a Ballad here that's based on my last couple of experiences in (and longing to return to) High School. Inspirations from Hedley's "Old School", Staind's "Epiphany". Guitar loop was created by DJerc7, and the drum loop used was created by Aereas. I used low-pass on the drums for the majority of the song, and the string sections are midi. This was the fifth track created for an album release titled "Through The Cracks" which can now be downloaded in entirety at my website, http://triplicate.weebly.com

Description : I used a 12-string guitar, a native American flute, legato strings and even a "puff" organ on this tune. The theme stays with a previous track ("Fire"), but I included the speech by J. Robert Oppenheimer on the aftermath of the A-bomb. Perhaps, in part, to draw comparison between the effect of a nuclear blast & the feeling of intense desire. To do harm... to want.

I placed it in the "cinematic" genre, because I aim to create lush landscapes of the imagination with my sound - akin to the work of an apt cinematographer, painting visual landscapes.

I'm any case... enough rambling. Give me about 5 minutes, and I promise you a lush, operatic tune to hum as you drive to work the day after hearing it.

Description : Even though the beat is incomplete (Still trying to layer the drums a bit more, and throw some ambiance in the background) I thought it was decent enough to post up here.

Kind of melodramatic, all natural instruments (orchestral, 12 string) except for the chorus bassline and the drumkit.

Description : This is a remix(re of some kind more or less) for 'A Drowning' by How To Destroy Angels. I'll say I'm kinda hesitant to put it up. It's got some great sounds and new ideas, but I felt it was...not fully fleshed out in the end. Not to say it I don't like it. I've listened to it for the past two weeks before putting it up here. It's also not a quick remix. Nothing against anyone that does that. I'm just slow lol. In all seriousness, it was quit a bit of work. I can go on and on about how I set up all my instruments, the methods I used to make some string sections, etc.. The most I can say is, the first verse is more thought out than the second(only two in it). The bridge passage is from the original. That bridge really p*ssed me off. In the end I had to use the original tracks version. I'm not thrilled with it, but lack of creativity hits and its a punch in the face back to reality. The second verse is pretty back to form as the original. Not complex but felt like it put it back in place I guess. Then an outro that pretty much tails off. Most of what took the longest was the mix(s). Over and Over and Over... Headphones, Monitor, Ipod, CD... Just a constant "this still sounds like #####" mentality. It probably still does sound like ##### in all honesty. I'm my worst critic lol. I'm ranting now. Anyway, this isn't the final. I put it here to receive some critic and maybe another pair of fresh ears response. This isn't mastered. Just mixed. I don't think making it all compressed and loud is going to help. It's also going up in Orchestral cause it's kinda orchestral maybe? Idk.
