Description : Completed for MitiS' Beatport Play competition, for which I used his vox and arp stems. Now, production: I recently got a Comb Filter (MComb) to mess around with after browsing various EDM forums and FM8 tutorials, thus you'll hear its use on the high-pitched noise riser throughout the song. I've also tweaked my kick a bit; I've taken the initial 75 ms of WhoAteDaMuffin's Dubstep Drums kick and created my own sub bass tail within the Ultrabeat drum machine, putting the pitch and gain through a decaying envelope. As an experiment I've also low-cut my crash cymbals at about 700 Hz and given them a subtle hi-pass noise tail, and I've revised my typical hi-hats pattern. Other than that, the entire thing was made using the ES2 Hybrid Synth, EXS24 sampler (for the piano) and Ultrabeat drum machine. -
- I've also experimented with attempting to give the track some form of decent mastering. The track was bounced and the audio file was imported into a new project, onto which I applied a formula of: Low cut (20 Hz), High cut (20 kHz), Gain (1 dB), Compressor (1:7:1 ratio), Multipressor, Stereo Spread (limited to the higher frequencies to spread the noise), two Linear Phase EQs (one peaking at various frequencies, the next cutting 3 dB off at 670 Hz) and an adaptive limiter at the end. Phew! Hopefully that won't smash the waveform into the ceiling/floor as much. ----

Description : A new trap beat I did recently. experimented with a slower than average tempo than I usually would. 65 bpm. I also tried some new brass presets from kontakt, played with automation to give it a bigger rise to the chorus. also used iris 2 for my synths which I don't normally do. had a lot of trouble getting my automations for the intro synth to export. had to make wav files before export. also the kick drum is tuned much lower than I usually go. anyways I'm rambling. hope you like it.

Description : This is a piece of pop electronica that I composed in Noteflight and produced in Mixcraft 7. I created the drum fill and the beat that's used in the verse and bridge using PatternSketch. As I was producing the track, I used some advice that Armin van Buuren gives in an "In the Studio with Future Music" YouTube video to make sure that the kick, bassline, and melody are sufficient for a great track, so I made sure that those things were in shape before I filled in the rest of the instruments. I'm very much a newb, so if you find yourself with a gem of advice to hand me, I'm totally wanting to hear it.

Description : This track was all about me just having a bit of fun with the EDM kick style sounds you get in bigroom and what not, picked the idea of using a synth sound like a seagull and had some fun, the previous master was way to heavy in the kick so i re did it by lowering the levels on the kick and tone and changed up the balance on the synths, this track isnt to be taken to serious as it was more for the fun of mayhem sounds than anything else really, sorry for the 192 bit download as its to big for 320mp3 on here, hope you like this crazy idea and drop a comment and a fav if you do...

Tweaked and lowered the DB on the bassline.

Redid the whole build up again, and added some snare/kick rushes.
Changed the Breakdown.
PS:
I changed the kick, tweaked and added a sub bassline, changed the melody, shortened the track, and created a breakdown ( not sure if it works out ).
And deleted unnecessary elements.
