Impressive piece Dan, I'm really digging this. I can't believe I did not hear this before. Speaking of Neal Visher, have you heard anything about him? I hope you are safe and well mate. As always, stellar job on this one. Stay cool and keep making music and art.

Thanks Cara. I have gotten away from these programmatic comps. Maybe time to get back into it. Best regards. Dan

very atmospheric.....
not quite jungle, kept waiting for the amen styled break to kick in.
nice quality exprimental vibe. great sound set.

Big Love!

DanGoldstein replied 29th Mar 2014 - 12 years ago

i don't know what that 'amen' break might sound like but it would be cool to build on this little track. would you have any interest in developing this with me a little more?

Burtsbluesboxes 8th Mar 2014 14:51 - 12 years ago

Where was your pet lion when the cannibals clubbed you? Probably sleeping as usual. This is cool, always love your unique music.

DanGoldstein replied 9th Mar 2014 - 12 years ago

Lion was probably busy learning FL Studio. LOL. thanks, man!

Hey this is cool - I'm looking at the painting and listening to this.
Food for ears and eyes!

DanGoldstein replied 9th Mar 2014 - 12 years ago

stoked that you were feeling it with the painting. that's what it is all about for me. big thanks. see ya around cyber hood.

crucethus 8th Mar 2014 02:31 - 12 years ago

Not quite what I was expecting from jungle (the UK hip hop like sound) but more a literal interpretation of the jungle. Keep working on it, it sounds interesting. Neal makes excellent loops.

DanGoldstein replied 8th Mar 2014 - 12 years ago

i am sure you are right on 'jungle' It was self-serving using it I suppose. there is always more to do with these tracks. it was a good second effort for me with FL Studio, my new DAW. also made some progress in working from the picture back to the music and coming up with something closer to what I was hearing in my head. really appreciate your stopping by. now on to your tracks! peace

JamesDavies 4th Mar 2014 12:48 - 12 years ago

it really makes ya think of a rainforest atmosphere! the synths are very effective in this one ^^ the reverb also gives it an open air feeling. nice one, keep it up ;)

DanGoldstein replied 5th Mar 2014 - 12 years ago

thanks for your encouraging comment! just getting my sea legs with fl studio on this one. glad it was working for you. thanks again.
