Description : Hi there! Well, I was bored with a lot of work. The college is killing me! Anyway, I've been absent 'cause I've been really busy. I wanted to make a song and I did it. The name of this piece is because of I imagined a kind of story. According to the story that wove my head, is set in the future. A virus is killing all women. This virus was created by an evil organization that wants to have the control to establish a new world order. There is a resistance group. But there is a huge difference of forces. All women who belong to this group of rebels are dying because of this virus. Only one is immune, and she is the key to the whole thing. She must be protected. And for her bad luck, her husband falls in battle. Now she has to survive somehow. So, the song is a cry of hope and despair. She is Annüin, the last widow. Ahm, I wrote lyrics for this song. Description : 'Bosa Marina' is the second song I recorded with Phil B. - leadsinger of the famous Dutch bluesband King Mo - in 2012 (first was 'Rain'). This is probably my most intricate Jimi Hendrix-hommage until now. The lyrics where there first. I wrote them during a stay (2010) on Sardinia, the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. I had just re(read) 'Crosstown Traffic', the definite book on Jimi Hendrix by Charles Shaar Murray. With me I had 'Hendrix, setting the record straight' by John McDermott & Eddie Kramer and 'Room Full of Mirrors' by Charles R. Cross. From these three books I could distill some of Jimi's interests (other than music). I learned that he was fond of science fiction, the idea of time travel, ancient civilisations, native Americans (his grandmother was fullblood Cherokee), reincarnation and voodoo. I tried to combine these elements in lyrics I wrote in a place called Bosa Marina on Sardinia, actually feeling the past and the future melting together under a blistering sun on the beach. The music came a year later when I stumbled on the very beautiful loop 'piano pad combo' by Looperman-member ShortBusMusic. This was the exact, laid back, jazzy mood I was looking for. The loop was the fundament I build the track on. After Phil B. recorded the lyrics, I filled in the structure with sounds 'answering' the lyrics or announcing them, hoping to give it a really space-out feeling. I'm very grateful to Phil who did an excellent job on this. All in all 'Bosa Marina' took two years to finish.

Description : Merry Christmas loopers! Been a while since I was here, and I've said this before (and I'll inevitbly repeat myself in the future) but I need to use this site more.
So, I got a new mic for Christmas, along with a pair of bongos, and then I decided to write a song based off a Star Trek-esque scenario where mankind has unified and is looking to the stars. Fun stuff.

12 audio tracks thus far, no synthesizers used, and hoping to keep it almost entirely organic (Excluding the pitch shifting effect on the bass and the overall reverberation)
Criticism is not only welcomed but recommended. I'd rather have you tear me a new butt than kiss my existing one, for lack of better phrasing :D

Description : Just a very simple, currently weak-sounding acoustic track. This is the basic recording, mistakes were made, the recording quality isn't great, and I forgot to use a metronome. Would've used my electric, but I still don't have the strength to lift it (been in awful shape the past few weeks as a result of illness, better now though). Any advice is welcomed, not tried acoustic before, but might be something I attempt more in the future.

If anyone's interested, the guitar I used was a Yamaha F310 :P

Description : THIS IS THE FINAL VERSION OF MY TRACK "In paradise".

I've been working on and off this track for over a year now. Each time I've never been fully satisfied... until now. This is a 10 minute remix of a track that was originally 2 minutes long. Its also my first time using pitcher and newtone on my voice (hopefully it won't be a regular thing and I can use my actual voice in the future though)

The first three minutes of this track is the introduction, starting off with a wierd panning drumloop made with a few electro drum sounds that came with fl studio, and slowly adding more sounds to it.

The following 6 minutes are me playing around with loads of different drum loops, and my own voice.

The last two minutes or so is an outtro, ending with the same drumloop as in the start.

The guitar was made using string theory and image lines "Hardcore" plugin, the piano is a heavily filtered FL keys, the pads are four filtered samples, and the strings and bass were made with synth1- arguably the best freeware synth out there. The drums were manually placed into the FPC then sequenced.

Description : This beat was made last night at 3:30 am central time, it took me about 3 and half hours to make. I made this beat with the Korgx50, akai MPD24 and pro tools 9 where all my new up coming beats going to be done from hear on out. I used Orchestra brass and Orchestra strings. a bass drum, a finger bass,, and rain and thunder sound effects ... the vocal that i but on as the hook is sung by pallaso, a looperman member,,, shouts out to pallaso for the great inspiration to make this beat and use your voice... hope you here this beat and enjoy it and I would Iike to work with you in the future on a track or beat ...that goes for every looperman also... please review and or comment to let me know what uses all think... i deeply appreciate it.....thank you
