Description : Here's a Jazz/Funk track I'm working. This will feature alot of live adlib and freestyle play on my keyboard. So far it has brass and woodwinds with some funky drum patterns and a shaker. Also, the first few seconds is me playing the Jazz Guitar live on my keyboard. This will be a lot of fun, and if anyone is interested, you can add a few bars of live playing in the track also, using Guitar, Bass, Keys, ect. The BPM is at 99. Tell me you all's thoughts so far? I redid this song and it is not available for free download on my Bandcamp and can viewed on my brand spankin new YouTube Channel
So I decided to try a little experiment with creating a song; I randomly generated a few sounds, and made song with them after adding some Signature Bass, modifying a sound to be a light Grinde, and some (kinda) custom Perc. One of the sounds reminded me of a cicada, the little bugs that at first are eerie, then annoying, then strangly peaceful once you get used to their chirps. BUT, this song was created with the idea of them swarming a future urban area. I shot for Ambient Glitchstep, but I got something like a combo of Glitch, Trap, and Dubstep, I'm gonna call it "Urban-Tek"

Description : All right, so here some facts you should know BEFORE or WHILE listening the track: 1) The repetitive piano/sort of flute melody is a symbol for time is going fast (flute) even if we try to slow it down (piano): it will catch us at one day or another (the end part with the synth). 2) Each instruments has it's time : Sort of synth flute melody sounds a little old to me: that's the past. The present is the piano, since it never gets old. If you listen closely, the haunting sound looks like a starship ready for flight. It is how I represent future, with the synth. 3) The track was initially the middle part of a 3 minutes length project... that still unfinished, it's the bridge that link two part of the track Time... yup! that's how I name my projects. :)
4) This is a preview for two tracks from my upcoming mini-album "Time", which is a sort of conceptual mini-album. Every track ends with a note or chord. Which makes people think about church bells on a funeral day. (When people will listen to the whole album they'll hear 6 times a single note or a two-notes chord... one time at each end of tracks.) 5) It's two feelings in one : I used two tracks ideas to create only one. So the feeling had to fit with tracks "Time" and "Before Apocalypse" that were not done yet at the moment I did that song. If you guys still have questions, or for more infos, please leave a comment. Description : Hi there! Well, I was bored with a lot of work. The college is killing me! Anyway, I've been absent 'cause I've been really busy. I wanted to make a song and I did it. The name of this piece is because of I imagined a kind of story. According to the story that wove my head, is set in the future. A virus is killing all women. This virus was created by an evil organization that wants to have the control to establish a new world order. There is a resistance group. But there is a huge difference of forces. All women who belong to this group of rebels are dying because of this virus. Only one is immune, and she is the key to the whole thing. She must be protected. And for her bad luck, her husband falls in battle. Now she has to survive somehow. So, the song is a cry of hope and despair. She is Annüin, the last widow. Ahm, I wrote lyrics for this song. Description : 'Bosa Marina' is the second song I recorded with Phil B. - leadsinger of the famous Dutch bluesband King Mo - in 2012 (first was 'Rain'). This is probably my most intricate Jimi Hendrix-hommage until now. The lyrics where there first. I wrote them during a stay (2010) on Sardinia, the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. I had just re(read) 'Crosstown Traffic', the definite book on Jimi Hendrix by Charles Shaar Murray. With me I had 'Hendrix, setting the record straight' by John McDermott & Eddie Kramer and 'Room Full of Mirrors' by Charles R. Cross. From these three books I could distill some of Jimi's interests (other than music). I learned that he was fond of science fiction, the idea of time travel, ancient civilisations, native Americans (his grandmother was fullblood Cherokee), reincarnation and voodoo. I tried to combine these elements in lyrics I wrote in a place called Bosa Marina on Sardinia, actually feeling the past and the future melting together under a blistering sun on the beach. The music came a year later when I stumbled on the very beautiful loop 'piano pad combo' by Looperman-member ShortBusMusic. This was the exact, laid back, jazzy mood I was looking for. The loop was the fundament I build the track on. After Phil B. recorded the lyrics, I filled in the structure with sounds 'answering' the lyrics or announcing them, hoping to give it a really space-out feeling. I'm very grateful to Phil who did an excellent job on this. All in all 'Bosa Marina' took two years to finish.

Description : Merry Christmas loopers! Been a while since I was here, and I've said this before (and I'll inevitbly repeat myself in the future) but I need to use this site more.
So, I got a new mic for Christmas, along with a pair of bongos, and then I decided to write a song based off a Star Trek-esque scenario where mankind has unified and is looking to the stars. Fun stuff.

12 audio tracks thus far, no synthesizers used, and hoping to keep it almost entirely organic (Excluding the pitch shifting effect on the bass and the overall reverberation)
Criticism is not only welcomed but recommended. I'd rather have you tear me a new butt than kiss my existing one, for lack of better phrasing :D
