Description : 1906 was the year of the largest emigration wave of Sicilians to America. Sicily, the cradle of mafia and vendeta, and the land of poverty. Why did I compose this? Coincidentaly, last week I was watching again all three "Godfather" movies after a long time (Marlon Brando is still my favourite actor), so I got an idea! The sentiment of leaving beloved homeland and family in desperate search for a better future is the key here to capture. Human heart in sadness but full of hope ! Mediteranean flavour mixed with almost classical elements prevails in this little extra offer. Not a cup of tea for everyone then...probably only for those who are able to survive all that orlandesque trumpery.:) It's a tricky one...ok?

Description : Here's a Jazz/Funk track I'm working. This will feature alot of live adlib and freestyle play on my keyboard. So far it has brass and woodwinds with some funky drum patterns and a shaker. Also, the first few seconds is me playing the Jazz Guitar live on my keyboard. This will be a lot of fun, and if anyone is interested, you can add a few bars of live playing in the track also, using Guitar, Bass, Keys, ect. The BPM is at 99. Tell me you all's thoughts so far? I redid this song and it is not available for free download on my Bandcamp and can viewed on my brand spankin new YouTube Channel
So I decided to try a little experiment with creating a song; I randomly generated a few sounds, and made song with them after adding some Signature Bass, modifying a sound to be a light Grinde, and some (kinda) custom Perc. One of the sounds reminded me of a cicada, the little bugs that at first are eerie, then annoying, then strangly peaceful once you get used to their chirps. BUT, this song was created with the idea of them swarming a future urban area. I shot for Ambient Glitchstep, but I got something like a combo of Glitch, Trap, and Dubstep, I'm gonna call it "Urban-Tek"

Description : All right, so here some facts you should know BEFORE or WHILE listening the track: 1) The repetitive piano/sort of flute melody is a symbol for time is going fast (flute) even if we try to slow it down (piano): it will catch us at one day or another (the end part with the synth). 2) Each instruments has it's time : Sort of synth flute melody sounds a little old to me: that's the past. The present is the piano, since it never gets old. If you listen closely, the haunting sound looks like a starship ready for flight. It is how I represent future, with the synth. 3) The track was initially the middle part of a 3 minutes length project... that still unfinished, it's the bridge that link two part of the track Time... yup! that's how I name my projects. :)
4) This is a preview for two tracks from my upcoming mini-album "Time", which is a sort of conceptual mini-album. Every track ends with a note or chord. Which makes people think about church bells on a funeral day. (When people will listen to the whole album they'll hear 6 times a single note or a two-notes chord... one time at each end of tracks.) 5) It's two feelings in one : I used two tracks ideas to create only one. So the feeling had to fit with tracks "Time" and "Before Apocalypse" that were not done yet at the moment I did that song. If you guys still have questions, or for more infos, please leave a comment.
