Description : Here attached is a new country tune I put together using several loops I bought off a disk set. I call it 'Old Tyme Country' as it is close to being Bluegrass as well. (Bluegrass usually has a Mandoline, Fiddle and a 5-string Banjo, and a rhythm guitar at least).
This instrumental features no guitars or regular drums. Rhythm here is provided by a Dulcimer, a Shaker and a drum like instrument called a Djembe. (An instrument from Africa, looking like a tall Bongo drum)
An acoustic stand-up Bass is used along with a 4 string Banjo, and the Fiddle is the main instrument.
Put all these together and this is the sound you can have. Hope you'll like it.
Description : Edit 7-8-12: Remixed the whole thing
Needed to get away from the heavier stuff and spend a day or two working more toward the pop side of rock rather then the hvy metal side I hve been doing. 3 Guitars and a drum loop with JamStix 3 playing behind it all. Ideas and reviews more then welcomed.
Description : A freestyle drum track i recorded for Prior project.....Chop it up or use it however you like just let me hear it and give me credit for my playing
**BPM is Locked in perfect and steady at 82 and Drums are mostly Mic'd through 2 room Mics at 9 Feet apart with a little gain from the Overheads and kick/snare mics as well**
Description : my own recorded rendition of this very beautiful song - written by Beasly Smith and Haven Gillespie. This one was recorded by Loui Armstrong. All live "one take" tracks - nylon string acoustic rhythm guitar, electric lead guitar, electric bass, organ, vocals, drum loop and manual cymbol and kick drum hits - no backing vocals ... yet
Description : Vocals by me, music & production by ShortBusMusic.
All of the instrumentation was played live by ShortBusMusic, except two drum loops used from Magix. Guitar was a Fender acoustic, Yamaha piano, all pads were created with Rob Papen Blue soft synth, and the bass is an Ibanez. Other drum parts are EZ Drummer. Recorded, mixed and mastered in Magix.

Description : I think this is Drum and Bass. It sounds like it to me. Please correct me if you think otherwise. Thing is it's only 90BPM ! Is that too slow to be D & B ? I started off this track by messing about with some synth sounds. I wanted to produce something atmospheric & moody sounding. Once I had done that I kinda knew how I wanted the drums & percussion to sound. When I had began to find them I thought - Hmmmmmmm Drum & Bass sounding to me. By the time I had put the vocals on (some loops from an EJay D & B disc collection) and added some extra bass I had ended up with this. I'm pleased with it as I like it and I think it works ok. Not brilliant but ok (maybe a bit more melody somewhere along the line). The mix may need a tweak here & there, please advise me on that if you care to. To be honest I was working on something along the lines of a chilled type Prodigy track & I seem to have ended up with a Goldie type track. Anyway enough of my ramblings. I hope you enjoy the track & thanx for taking time to stop by & listen. Peace, love & justice to y'all people
Description : THIS IS THE FINAL VERSION OF MY TRACK "In paradise".
I've been working on and off this track for over a year now. Each time I've never been fully satisfied... until now. This is a 10 minute remix of a track that was originally 2 minutes long. Its also my first time using pitcher and newtone on my voice (hopefully it won't be a regular thing and I can use my actual voice in the future though)
The first three minutes of this track is the introduction, starting off with a wierd panning drumloop made with a few electro drum sounds that came with fl studio, and slowly adding more sounds to it.
The following 6 minutes are me playing around with loads of different drum loops, and my own voice.
The last two minutes or so is an outtro, ending with the same drumloop as in the start.
The guitar was made using string theory and image lines "Hardcore" plugin, the piano is a heavily filtered FL keys, the pads are four filtered samples, and the strings and bass were made with synth1- arguably the best freeware synth out there. The drums were manually placed into the FPC then sequenced.
I'm not allowing downloads on either of the links, but if you contact me privately or in a review, I'll send the mp3 your way. (The one on soundcloud isn't 320, because I wasn't sure if soundcloud had a size limit)
Description : Probably a good one to rap to. I used synth loops from Alen9R, a looper member on here and give him full credit for them, and a brass loop from him as well, and all the drum and bass is me. I don't usually use loops but i thought these went along nicely with the drum and bass from one of my beats. Well enjoy, and review if you'd like
Description : P.O.V. = Point Of View. A tune from several years ago that my buddy Mike Bright wrote. He plays guitar and bass on this as well.I just sing.I did play drums on this but either it was a bad recording,or my drum playing was wasn't up to snuff.Or maybe both :).I left the drum track off for now.We recorded this on my old Zoom MRS 802cd.The tracks I had were in pretty bad shape so I did the best I could.I thought these were excellent lyrics by my friend Mike.
Description : Update: Remastered in audition. A bit sparkier I think...
While my friends Jim and Allen are doing their stuff on some Transatlantic Experience tunes, I thought I might do a pop/rock song on my own. Recorded on a macbook pro using my strat, the presicion and my latest guitar, a flying V. Drum loops by guitarjock (check out his work, great guitar and drum work).
The lyrics are an adlib so it might sound a little strange here and there. :) What do you think? Let me know,
/pmk
Description : started out with a couple of nice guitar and keyboard loops, then whilst searching for the right drum loop couldnt make my mind up - so used them all - 4 to be precise, may be a bit over the top but its differant ! then messed with the guitar loops and ended up with something else. Not sure where to go with this so any suggestions would be welcome.
Description : Another piece of drum and bass, this time its on FL studio 8, because i deleted FL9 because it took up a lot of space, and it wasnt as good anyway.
The strings and guitars are both native instruments kore player, and the main drum line is actually a loop I downloaded from fl's downloadable content.
This song is not finished yet, but i hope to get it finished pretty quickly, but im stuck at the moment as i cant think of a decent bridge...
Description : A little drum and bass experiment I did, well, I say drum and bass, but it hasnt actually got much bass in it.
This is one of my earlier projects I did using Fl 9 (which if you ask me is not as good as fl 8), and its all my stuff, no loops used, the drumloops were made with the FPC.
Description : About three months now since I started this song... And I STILL havent finished it because im not sure what to do with it. This was inspired by the track "dance with me" by Blake Reary and Laurie Webb. It uses 2 of Fl's drum loops. One is Faxing berlin and the other is autophresh. Everything else (incuding the pad at the beggining) is mine.
I know its repetetive, which is why it needs vocals. To make it more... Interesting, I geuss.
The VSTs used are Genesis (thats the pad) refx nexus (prety much all of the other synths) Fl studios drum samples.
If you can sing please try to make an acapella for this song. I am terrible at lyrics so i cant help you there, but the BPM is 128.

Description : I found this drum sample with bass drum, liked the preacher stuff then added some twangy guitars finished with the soulful vocals from ms holly, added extra lead guitar lots of phaser hope ya like!
Description : Liquid funk tune i made in less than 24 hrs...........yes, that's a record for me! Helped along by me staying at home whilst recovering from my 2nd wisdom tooth extraction this morning..................Its my music to heal my pain!
Now using Reason 4 rewired into Ableton Live, using separate Reason instruments with midi from Live.........MAN!! that NN-XT advanced sampler rocks..........wicked piano's.........Track constructed of recorded midi, no pre-produced loops at all. All sounds from Reason except for the drum kit.........used Live's drum rack for that. This software combination has to be the best ever in my opinion. Reasons awesome sounds with Live's ease of work flow and editing............just wikid!
Description : I used a ridiculous amount of samples and put a lot of work into the automation of the filters and creating some of my own loops for use with this project, and something happened with the project file and I can no longer access it. I would looooove to finish this one but I can't. (I still think its worth putting up for people to hear though) Anyway there are a few drum n bass drum loops from various websites thrown in there. Anyway tell me what you think =]
Description : knocked this out this morning... its Dark and has a message.
as usual i have no idea of the style so its under electronic lol.
o ya and i used a drum rack called sweeny glitched.. so i think the glitchy beat is a loop i got from sweeny that i glitched out then resampled chopped it up into a drum rack.. . then played my mpd24 to make the beat.
