Fantastic tune. I could say this very reminiscent of 80's new wave or the modern revival of the old new wave lol. Really raw but thats what makes it more endearing in the cut and paste world of digital music now. I must say it really reminds me of XTC. Don't know if you know who they are. Should check them out. Sick tune though. Cheers :D

Stphane! This kills me from start to the mag fadeout - funny sexy and deadpan cool lyric performance - the backing is so right, nervy in the sense of the best big gtr powerpoop - i'm talking like really early Cheap Trick (in color / in black and white) where the lead is fun and not wanking and the rhythm gtr chops yr legs off. i know i've griped at you about drums on an earlier reload, but i think there's a lot going for the drum track on this one - esp the cymbal rides! well, hopefully you can see you've made me pretty dang happy to listen to this track!!

    Hi Frenchkid,

not been in loopsland for a while so I thought I'd check out my "regular reviewers"...came to this track of yours and was straight into the groove on this one so I downloaded it. have a few ideas so if you can send me your e-mail I could send you a wav file later. Songwriting in its best form is from experience, from the heart. This is what you have here. a top-notch song, hope I can do it justice by adding a little backing.

If I ever get A House Ignoble and Divided published, and it's turned into a screen play, I'll need to work out a deal for this to be in the soundtrack. I'm glad to find someone else who's contemplated the logistics of such a scenario.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
