Yes, the impression is very much in line with Lovecraft's story. Thank you, Marco.

Dear Friend thank you very much for your comment, your opinion is very important to me. When I return from holidays in September I would like to propose to you to make some pieces in collaboration.
A warm greeting

Whoa what a trip. Haha
I expected something different,
not quite sure what,
but it wasn't a bad ride. :-)
Stereonomicon replied 23rd May 2020 - 4 years ago
Thanks, I'm glad you liked my song, in fact it was born as something experimental and unconventional. This is one of my songs that will be released in the background at the upcoming Portland Lovecraft Film Festival. Best wishes

strange and for some reason reminded me of the film Blade runner where the human replicants are being hunted down for termination except they are better than the humans who hunt them. Nice track i enjoyed it and replayed it. Regards Robbie.

Hello and thank you very much for your comment, your approach to the atmosphere of Blade Runner is interesting, a film that I have always appreciated for its visionary charge.
Best wishes

Wow Stereonomicon - that was quite a trip which caused me flashbacks ... Unfortunately Edgar Froese is (another one who is) not among us anymore – he should hear it! But don't get me wrong, your great work does not need any comparisons, it stands alone.
Greetings to lovely Italy,
Stereonomicon replied 23rd May 2020 - 4 years ago
Good morning Michael, it is always a great pleasure to hear from you, thank you for the comparison with Edgar Froese, for me this is a real honor. I keep following your fantastic music on Looperman.
Best wishes and see you soon

Psychedelic indeed! I'mentering the Twilight zone. lol I have never heard a build up like before. Oooo that change up is brilliant. So cosmic crazy. I enjoy stuff like this. Just close my eyes. Much more of a ride on some real psychedelics. Great work

Thanks Friend for the great attention you have given to my music, your comment is for me a reason for real satisfaction.

Hey man, you seem to enjoy exploring electronic sounds in general, but this one really speaks to me. I am also a fan of lovecraft and anything similar and the journey you intended is definitely felt, and i always appreciate a song with a story to tell.

hope you are keeping well in times like these.
Stereonomicon replied 26th Apr 2020 - 4 years ago
Hello and thank you very much for your words, luckily I'm fine and in this period of isolation I'm playing a lot. In fact, I really like to research sounds trying to take advantage of the many possibilities offered by synthesizers. I am happy that you enjoyed my music. A greeting
xstokes 24th Apr 2020 17:51 -  4 years ago
Damn that's squiggly. Strange figures hanging out under the lampposts at night. Glad I read the comments and got clued in to yr Lovecraftian mythos - this is fitting! V cool stuff.
Stereonomicon replied 24th Apr 2020 - 4 years ago
Thanks Friend, your comment gives me great satisfaction, lately I am obsessed with the literary production of Lovecraft and my intent is to pay homage (as far as I can) to the great artistic genius of this writer. Best wishes
theHumps 24th Apr 2020 10:37 -  4 years ago
Interesting, a bit sci-fi and cinematic in that genre. Experimental and different. This is what makes music interesting, don't ya think?

Stereonomicon replied 24th Apr 2020 - 4 years ago
Dear Friend, thank you for your comment. In fact, in this period I am looking for new and experimental sounds to obtain effects of strangeness and alienity linked to the Lovecraftian themes that inspire my music. I am really happy that you liked the result of my efforts. Best wishes

Hi Friend, thanks for your nice comment. This is a city where I don't want to get lost, inside there are really strange things ...
ignome 20th Apr 2020 18:31 -  4 years ago
that's very good, it's always a pleasure to discover a new track from you.
Something experimental in this, and still good choice of sounds.
Stereonomicon replied 20th Apr 2020 - 4 years ago
Welcome back my friend, words like yours are a real pleasure for me and urge me to always try to make new songs. Your opinion is particularly dear because it is that of an authoritative talented musician. Merci beaucoup et à bientôt.
crucethus 20th Apr 2020 18:02 -  4 years ago
Ahh I love this one. It sounds like a sophisticated VCS3 with a nice chorus effect. eerie, spooky and dramatic while keeping with that synth-percussive sound that drives the body of this work. Excellent.
Stereonomicon replied 20th Apr 2020 - 4 years ago
Hi Steven, how are you? Fortunately I am well and these days of social isolation have provided me with new ideas for making music. Thank you very much for your review, having your news means hearing the voice of a friend. Best wishes and see you soon
HeathAlexander 20th Apr 2020 16:44 -  4 years ago
Your tracks are always super interesting. The slow switch from 1:20-1:50 is awesome. I really enjoy the light and droning drums. It adds the right amount of drive to the wacky sounds.
Stereonomicon replied 20th Apr 2020 - 4 years ago
Thanks, your words are very welcome, yours is an opinion that I have a lot of respect for. In this period I am looking for particular and unusual sounds to be able to make the Lovecraftian atmospheres that characterize my production. I was very happy that the organization of the Lovecraft Film Festival welcomed my songs to entertain the audience during the breaks. Best wishes

"great" comment by Henry...:-) :-(

Absolute sci-fi, utopistic, after the end of the world war 3 (but many say the covid-19 is the World War 3...) song...bit scary, thought-provoking song, what will be with humanity type...

feetshake, Danke
Stereonomicon replied 19th Apr 2020 - 4 years ago
Hi Friend, I really appreciate your comment because the song really wanted to be disturbing, as it was inspired by a homonymous story by HP Lovecraft. This is one of my songs that will be played as a background in the pauses between one video and another during the Lovecraft Film Festival 2020 in Portland (Covid permitting). Best wishes

Judging by the sounds that distinguish it, I would say that this city has a name ... and it's Milan! hahaha
Stereonomicon replied 19th Apr 2020 - 4 years ago
Hello and thank you for your nice comment. In fact, I was born in Milan and probably many of the sounds and noises of that city have remained etched in my unconscious. Best wishes

Another great job, I'm already becoming a fan ... For me it was between the soundtrack of "Blade Runner" and the Pink Floyds album "Midle".
This was another incredible trip in the imagination.

Stereonomicon replied 19th Apr 2020 - 4 years ago
Dear Friend, thank you very much, the references you mentioned in fact are part of my baggage of musical listening. I am very happy that you like my music and I hope I will never disappoint you. Best wishes

Description : OK, I finally managed to find a song name, so here it is. But the genre is still open. WTF is it? World? Trip? Trance? Rock? psychedelic? .

I started this song with the wahwah background track, I think I wanted to go in the triphop direction but when I played with it and tried out things I added some Tabla sounds from the available sound library of the cubase software to it, just to get a feel for it. It sounded right somehow, and so it developed from there. As before, we did the work on wikiloops band section: bhunt1 (Brian) on Bass added his track, and rp3drums (Raymond) on drums (one straight drum track, and one para-diddle track). I then added several more guitar tracks.

So I would be happy to listen to your comments and advice, and if I get a good suggestion for name and genre I will change it. Cheers, TG :D

Description : Psychedelic, Eastern, dark dance/jazz/fusion based around my cello playing plus minimal other instrumentation. Two sections of electric guitar, one of Fender Rhodes, one synth pad, some swirling female vocal samples and one sub synth bass. Apart from multiple drum loops and programmed acoustic drumkits, everything else is cello, including most of the weird sounds.
