Nice one. The bass line puts me in mind of Billy Cobhams Stratus. The keys got my thinking of Chick Corea and Scott Kinsey. This is my type of music. Throughly enjoyed the listen.
Your tunes always give me such a good vibe and such pleasure. This is the first song I've commented here in quite some time now, and it's only because I can't resist but come looking for your music... then resisting the urge to credit you with the good feelings is even tougher! Keep composing awesome music!
Hey Spiv!! here you are! it made a long long time without seeing you! what happens bro? are you in trouble? i hope no!! i'm really glad to read you and I cross fingers that your fourth album soon goes out!!!
What a talent I just found. This track is excellent. I would love to play a frank gamble type guitar solo over ideas like this one. I just started looperman and wow you just made my day. Thanks for the fantastic work Mr. Mundhoen
Hello Guitarlots,
Mr Mundhoen is an other looperman artist (An excellent artist besides), me, it's Bleep :)
so, is your comment here was for me or for Mr Mundhoen?
Cool intro, got my headphones on. The keys/vibes/organ instrument is neat then the snappy crisp drums and bass kinda steal the show! Nice mix, spacious. I close my eyes and I feel I'm at the club, listening to the band.
Can't say I know who Bugge is. You know some cool artists I am unfamiliar with, thanks for turning me on to them!
Wow!
Not what I really expect to hear on here.
This is classy stuff.
I can see inspector Cluzo scratching his head
Sounds flawless and beautiful to me.
Well done.
Wow, amazing drum track. I love this dragging rhythm and the countering bass line. This bass line reminded of a track of Bomb the Bass (for which I cannot seem to remember the title at this moment). This snapping dry snare is simply the coolest. I know modern jazz can be all over the place, but I think your track might even be more powerfull and accessible if you keep some of the solo lines into key with the bass or rhodes. You alos might want to consider to fill some empty frequency spectrums in this great track. Maybe a simple organ with a few chords might do te job.
Then again, it is your track and it sounds amazing as it is. Fav'ed.
thanks for your friendly words, i quote your advice about the solo lines into key with the bass or rhodes :) however, i don't understand the meaning of "to fill some empty frequency spectrums", english is not my natural language and the translator didn't help me lol
Nice ambient background in the intro, then it's like sixties jazz with 40's atonality. cool in it's expression, chimes telling a diminished story. Stuttered trumpets, like a politically incorrect jazz troupe performing for all nations of fluid people and the outre religious.

Very nice modern jazzy chill out track. the melody is catchy and constantly evolving. You made nice use of panning the sound to give the production a fuller body. You might turn down the synth sound a little as it is a notch too loud in my opinion. Still a very nice and original song to listen to. Tres bien!

Description : Every instrument is performed and recorder live. Piano, double bass, drums.

-"WELTMEISTER" upright piano (MADE IN GERMANY in 1938)
-"KAY" upright bass (MADE IN GERMANY somwhere in 1950th)
-TAMA Imperial Star + Pearl OMAR HAKIM snare + Various Ziljian cymbals.
I just put together some old ideas to see if it will work. Some vocals and brass, or guitars is clearly needed. Let me know what you think about it. Tnx
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...
Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.
Description : This track made me just stop working on it and listen to it for enjoyment.
Smooth Mellow funky Jazz. Uses: 0111003-djrumplestiltskin-swung-funk-drum-beat, 0087009-mrroads442-guitar-line, 0072485-michiel555-mellow-funk, 0058934-ferryterry-90-bpm-soprano-sax. Is this Funk or Jazz?
Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : Something a bit different from us. I (Bobo) played guitar, synth, midi bass and percs to this piano loop by LM's most excellent Rasputin. Wataya, stoned as usual, thought he heard Barbara Streisand singing. This is the result.
Description : I created a hip hop groove in Logic and decided to duel some Saxophones. I am playing the Baritone sax on the left pan and the Tenor Sax on the right pan.
I added some bells like a boxing match bell to give it a fight drama feel. The hip hop track itself is dope to me. The duel is cool too. Who won?

Well done.
