Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.

This is a really cool, nice track. All the elements work together well. They keep it interesting and flowing nicely with some great details. To make it more of what it could be would be to add more drum dynamics, fills, hits and drops etc (I also ignore the drums too much myself when doing some stuff). Also the horn sound has the ability to be more pervasive and 'in yer face' in my opinion however these don't detract from a well made well put together piece. Wishing you well with your work, It's tight and compelling.
Thank you so much for listening and commenting on my music. I really agree about the drums, it is one of my weaknesses. Actually it is a combination of things and the major one is that programming the drums is very time consuming especially when there is lack of knowledge of the instrument. Modern software drummers are a fine solution but again if one wants his music to be realistic, he has to spent time on it.
Thanks for your advice, it might push me to a more cautious use and programming of the various drum vsts and in some cases the raw midi stuff.
Wish you the best for the New Year
Anthony
I like very much the ambiants sounds like the string one and the rhode well done man. You might just crisp a lil bit more on the drums but that is my personal taste haha
Hello there
Thanks so much for listening and commenting on my music. I am so glad you liked it. Well, it is the opinions that matter in this whole procedure. This feedback is helpful, it provides information which is necessary to understand how what one makes reaches the listener.
My best regards, Anthony.
Beautiful work - reminded me a little of Burt Bacharach at the start and then devolves and circles around in a dreamy lofi jazzy lushness that is never entirely predictable but somehow familiar. Very nicely produced too. Accolades well deserved
Hello, Happy New Year and what a description...
I enjoyed the way you listened to my music, it was almost reinvented the best way. Thank you for listening and commenting so beautifully.
I will soon visit to listen to your work
My best regards, Anthony.
Hello Rita
Happy New Year, thank you for visiting and listening to my music. I am so glad you liked it and if you could dance with it, that is a real success...thanks again
My best regards, Anthony.
It sounds to me like a Jazz track with modern sounds, especially the synth/fx.
Very relaxing and the mixing is very very good, sounds so clear, well done!
Happy New Year
Thank you so much for visiting and listening to my music. I am really glad you liked the outcome. To tell you the truth I do combine various sounds and I really like the procedure. Sometimes though it is not so successful and I have to restrain my self to more common paths...I will soon visit to listen to your works.
My best regards, Anthony.

Anthony, you've consistently nailed it. This is truly an incredible piece of art with a beautiful tune. Wishing you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas
Hello Richard
Thank you so much for your wishes. It has been a bit difficult for me these days ( I suffered a COVID infection), but thank God I am a lot better now. I hope you enjoyed the serenity of this year's season as well as the festive spirit that most of the people are in.
Thank you for your visit, I am very glad you liked the music. To tell you the truth, I have kept the template in order to give it a try for something new. We'll see ..
My best regards, Anthony.

Thank you so much for visiting Paul, it is always a great pleasure to have you around. I know you listen with real interest so your option matters so much. I am delighted you liked the song, I think I will possibly try another one with the same materials. You see my wife liked it too (she never liked my repetitions in my music...which, to be true, are not rear..). Have a nice Christmas Paul
My best regards, Anthony.
Hi Anthony, if you've just had a really bad phase (like I had) with fears for loved ones, and so close to the holidays, then your track is a real blessing! But it is anyway...Thank you very much for this calming, comforting atmosphere.
All the best,
Cheers
Thank you Micky
I was almost sure I responded to your comment yesterday, but I see I have not. Possibly I did not press on "post reply", might be, you see I am suffering a COVID attack..these days. Anyhow, thank you for your warm comment where you share your difficult times. It is a very friendly gesture. I wish to you Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
Cheers
Hello AnthonyA, you've put together a nice jazz track here. It has all the essential elements you want to hear in a jazz piece....a nice laidback bass line, very sweets keys, steady percussions and cool strings, not to leave out a nice effects presence.....it's a good job my friend.
Thank you for visiting and listening to my music. I am really glad you liked it. I will wish to you Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday
My best regards, Anthony.
Anthony! This is a full and lush composition. Yep a whole vibe! Brass is masterful, the organ sits just right. The whole mix has an atmosphere that is hitting me just right. Lastly the baseline is fire. Well well done!
Well such a pleasant comment from a jazz master makes me feel great (and slightly stressed to tell you the truth). It is so helpful for me to understand which paths should I follow during my composition attempts. When a piece is liked by the listeners a "green light" is on. When not, you do understand it is rather a "red" one ! Thank you so much for your time to listen and comment on my music.
My best wishes and Merry Christmas
Anthony
I have a soft spot for jazz music, people just wouldn't get it, it has a unique flare to it. I like my jazz tracks with a little bit of modern twist and chill atmospheric vibe. This one hits the spot, Jusssst...Righhht.
Thanks a lot for visiting and listening to my music. I am really glad you liked it, it is always a great pleasure to know so. I listen to lots of jazz music (most of it being smooth jazz songs) but I am not keen in making jazz pieces. It just happened and I really enjoyed it.
My best greetings, Anthony.
Hello Antuony, I don't know which rooftop bar BaoBou prefers in Athens. But I could imagine that BaoBou and I might end up in the same bar. So if you see us together on any warm summer evening in one of these bars, please join us. We warmly invite you! Beautiful, slightly jazzy but still bluesy music carried to my ears by wonderful instruments. A lovely relaxing sound that perfectly matches a lovingly crafted and served drink in a pleasant atmosphere. Lovely! Best wishes, Manuela.
Hello Manuela
Thank you so much for listening, it is great to know friends will listen. It is also wonderful to know that this music reached you and you visited my home town for a drink, hope you enjoyed our hospitality! Of course I joined and had a great time.
Truly beneficial conversation Manuela, thank you once more.
My best regards, Anthony.
I'm imagining being in my favorite Athens rooftop bar, overlooking a plateia with people having their first drink or maybe the last freddo before the weekend. A big lounge chair, an Mythos or maybe a leyko krasi... I'm transported far away.
Great stuff man, and welcome to the club of DIY producers. If you always try to make what you need, we may occasionally fail but we also learn a lot and have a lot of fun.
Thanks a lot for your time to listen and comment on my music. I am really satisfied that you seem to like it. Yes, experimenting actually is what I enjoy in music making the most. I so much love to listen to real jazz musicians and perhaps some of it, is within me by now. It is a whole mind game, with roles and scenario. Well I cannot say much about Saturday (full 24 hour work sheet), I hope in a resting Sunday although it begins with sorrow feelings for a loving person of mine. There are those inevitable conditions in life full of sentiments and thoughts. I wish back to you kalo SK (nice weekend for the non Greek friends of mine) and keep on making such good music.
Best wishes, Anthony.
I'm gonna say the experiment was a success! It starts out with an Issac Hayes vibe--that fusion of soul and jazz from the 70's. Then, it goes off in unexpected places, but masterfully you brought it back seamlessly to the that Issac Hayes vibe. The organ was a very nice touch. I especially like how you mixed it towards the back, but then brought it a bit forward as the track progressed. It's also interesting that you chose to not end the composition as it started. Love it, Love, it Love it!
Thank you Mykael for your nice words and your encouraging thoughts about my music. It is very interesting to try to understand how others listen to what I make. Only imagine how happy may feel those artists that the whole world accepts their works, and people love it and appreciate it. It has to be a huge feeling. It is not the feeling of success for me, it is the feeling of acceptance. So that's why I feel so good with your thoughts and writings. It is a unique team here in LM and it is so beautiful to feel accepted.
My best regards, Anthony.
Thank you so much for listening to my music and for your post. It is always a pleasure to know my music somehow reached the listeners. Thank you once more
My best regards, Anthony.
Come on Kay, not professionally, but I reassure you with much anticipation for your thoughts once it was completed. I so much enjoy to read your thoughts and I mean all of you and one by one. I thank you for your interest in my works and for your so full of life writings. I wish you well
Anthony
Very good experimentation - smooth and the way you have put the instrumentation together is so professional. I think you're right - I can imagine this being enjoyed with a JD nightcap on a weekend evening Kay
Description : I first discovered the iconic singer Ella Fitzgerald through my parents, my mother who was a renowned vocalist herself had a deep appreciation for the music of legendary artists. I just put together some old ideas to see if it will work. Some vocals and brass, or guitars is clearly needed. Let me know what you think about it. Tnx
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...
Description : This track made me just stop working on it and listen to it for enjoyment.
Smooth Mellow funky Jazz. Uses: 0111003-djrumplestiltskin-swung-funk-drum-beat, 0087009-mrroads442-guitar-line, 0072485-michiel555-mellow-funk, 0058934-ferryterry-90-bpm-soprano-sax. Is this Funk or Jazz?
Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : I created a hip hop groove in Logic and decided to duel some Saxophones. I am playing the Baritone sax on the left pan and the Tenor Sax on the right pan.
I added some bells like a boxing match bell to give it a fight drama feel. The hip hop track itself is dope to me. The duel is cool too. Who won?
Description : One of six jazz tracks recorded for my current album, however this track wasn't chosen out of the six hence the title. Many thanks and appreciation to the very talented musicians who participated in this recording session.
Description : Something a bit different from us. I (Bobo) played guitar, synth, midi bass and percs to this piano loop by LM's most excellent Rasputin. Wataya, stoned as usual, thought he heard Barbara Streisand singing. This is the result. Sorry.
Thanks for your advice, it might push me to a more cautious use and programming of the various drum vsts and in some cases the raw midi stuff.
Wish you the best for the New Year
