This is a dark ambient track that will go between two of my other tracks. A good pair of headphones/earbuds are highly suggested for this one.

Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.

Description : I intentionally made this song minimalistic. The drums I spliced together from some drum loops I had, there's one other loop in the mix, the rest of the instruments are played by me (bass and synths). I used the excellent (and free) Cakewalk z3ta+ vst and the BBC Symphony vst. My intention was to create a very simple and dream like ambient track. Feel free to download or comment. WOW! this is such a jammy! sweet! little tune here. I absolutely love all the nuances throughout the track, it certainly grabs ones attention and holds it, right to the very end not to mention the exceptionally FANTASTIC!! beat. I've not posted a tune in a long time but between being very busy and not very well with bouts of I feel fine here and there I am working on a three.

As for how I do what I do I think it must be a time thing.
Takes me weeks sometimes months to do a track because I'm simply not in a hurry.
Have just bought a minibus that I'm converting to a camper to do as much of the UK come rain or shine as I can and possibly Europe when I've done that so although I'm still creating this stuff it has been pushed back by the van.
Got to fit the electrics next week for keyboard pc guitar etc because I intend to carry on my number one hobby in the middle of the forest the beach wherever my wheels take me.

All I can say is that this song is really nice and really different than most stuff heard nowdays, has it's own story and vibe going on, some parts(may be the beat) reminded me of Ratatat, do you listen to them by any chance? If not you should check them out, although most of their songs are performed with live guitars. Anyway, keep on doing what you're doing.

Really gets funky on 0:20. That's a fun, bouncy lead.
Beats are cool and oppositely panned.
0:59 new, delicate lead works its way in.
1:21 things get busier as it goes back. Right panned synth is cool. Lots of busy sounds going on but the mix is clear and skilfully done.
2:01 cool new instrument. I wonder what it is.
2:21 sounds like a cross between a guitar and synth solo.
3:22 now that must be guitar. Where are you getting all these sounds from? Are some samples? All?
The way you cram so many sounds and beats together and make them all work really well reminds me a lot of the way I make my music. So of course I love this.
Very progressive and imaginative and well executed. A definite favourite...
The created by me are from a MIDI keyboard and electric guitar that I play badly.
A lot of guitar sounds you hear in my stuff are actually created from the MIDI keyboard.
The main synthesis of sounds for the keyboard come from Air Technologies.
This gives my keyboard almost limitless possibilities for sound creation.

I love to put a lot of sounds in more or less every creation but without compacting the whole thing into a slew of mud.
Mostly this is down to the mixing with some very fine differences in volume and panning.
I'm trying at the moment to work on a fairly simple Tangerine Dream kind of sound at the moment.
Sweeping synths no percussion.
It's proving harder than I thought.
