Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!

Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Description : The answer to Close Encounters is Hymn Of The Pleiades. This is a strictly groove track where the elements of ambient meets electronic funk and Hip Hop. Track was recorded, mixed and mastered using Mixcraft Pro Studio 6 software. Results were achieved by using a FATA Studio 90 MIDI keyboard ran through a E-MU Proteus 2000 sound module, - for the phat funky bass synth. I also used a KORG O5R/W sound module for the retro lead synth parts and ambient sound pads.
I utilized what was essentially a old school Hip Hop drum track, arranged and beefed it up for that extra umh! I greatly appreciate all the positive feedback the track has garnered thus far. Keep listening and by all means, your comments are much welcomed... thanks.
Description : Recently I've been quite into future bass and this my first real try at making it.

I don't know where else to put this, but I really want to thank the Looperman community for giving my track a chance. It's almost hit 800 plays and it's got so many favorites, it's insane. Thanks to everyone who made this the song it is right now.
Description : Here's an original track I made which features different vst's I've found within the interwebs. Very chill, yet hard hitting. I'd say this track is Chillout/Electronic.
Description : With the winter solstice comes a new album from Spivkurl, as well as this new song from the album. Kind of a new-new-wave sort of track. We all like it around here.

Description : Recently did a collab with Looperman user doctorcatface, and this is what came of it. He sent me his project file with individual loop sections. I laid out the arrangement and wrote some lyrics. Did the mixing and mastering too. I don't know about you, but I enjoy listening to this one. Here's the original track that inspired the collab:

Description : The wild warrior.
In a mysterious chilling EBM mix.
In this unusual song I didn't use loops, only VST's.
The total wacky WHOOO, for the Jungle alarm flute. It really has a totally funky interface.
Then even the Revolta2, Tethys2 and MT Powerdrumkit2.
And underneath, sounds from Robotar.
Mixed with Spinner and KeroVee and some more FX stuff.
And on top of it a little singing, by myself.
Again the question arises.
What is the name of this style or genre?
But more important, of course, is that you like it.
Comments are sure welcome.
Enjoy the music and dance like a wild warrior

Back on the deck again, with another EP called, "panophobia" coming up soon, DJ Arloph is not wasting time this year to bring new sounds to keep the African flavor going. Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.

My Best track ever I Made Need your Comments
Okay, I am using the word processor this time, so that nothing gets lost!
I can't believe the feeling that finding this song has given me today... It is an unbelievable presence to say the least! I find it hard to be as expressive as I was in the partially lost reply to your comment on my song.
Let me start by saying this... I heard a new Nine Inch Nails song this morning, for the first tine in a couple of years. I had a bland, take it or leave it reponse, even though I've been a fan for over twenty-five years. This song you've created had a much more fulfilling effect on me, and I found it potent and deep.
Please keep writing songs for yourself, and performing them, as you have so much potential as a songwriter/performer! You've created a bed for us to lay down in, and you have changed the sheets first.
I used autotune for years, before swearing off anything artificial, except drugs. It only ever helped my image and acceptance. Just like makeup, it changed people's image of me. Don't worry about using a tool of our trade, as that is what tools are for.
You sound great, and this song is a must fave and DL! I thank you for sharing, and I lament the loss of my complete response to your comment on my song.
I really like the changes in the song, good dynamics. At the beginning and again at 1:47 I liked the organ that gets louder. Wished the vocals were a bit louder in the mix, they were quite good. Catchy electronic pop song, very radio friendly sound!

Very slick and modern, although I was half expecting you to burst more into 'song', but I guess that would have completely altered the feel.
Really enjoyed it, and thanks for sharing :)
This an amazing track and I don't think it needs rapping on just think the vocals need to stop fading and brought forward a little more.
Love it
Steve
Decent song except the vocals and maybe the sidechain in the drop for the kick to come out could be better.
Hey 2D2R, I really like the start with the piano and love how you changed the vibe of this track to electro in such a short time span. Your vocals sounds great on this and only added to the instrumental that much more. You say your vocals suck, guess they were right when they said we are our own worst critic. I think they really work with this track even with the autotune and that's saying a lot considering I normally hate autotune.
Anyways very nice work and hope to hear your vocals on more tracks in the future.
2d2r I would not screw this song rapping on it you have a super voice fits this song perfectly I simply love this song BRAVO don't doubt your voice you have talent faved. Best regards.
Please don't ruin this fine tune with raps!
This is sounding really good.
Quality stuff.
Hello,
your voice permite this track to become an electro pop song! your voice is not so bad, i don't know why you have doubts about it! your work is solid and i'm not sure rap will add something better in this track! i prefer like it
Bleep
So far so good. I can't wait to hear the mixed version.
I really like the music.
I'm no judge of vocalists really as I'm a mostly instrumental lover but it doesn't sound that bad apart from vanishing into the distance at some points. The music is fantastic.
I really like this actually haha.. I'd rap on it tbh.
