Description : Maybe because I am such a 90s kid I love this synth to bits. It just spits out rave synth lines so easily. Although one of the loops I recorded today could also work in other genres like hip hop I reckon.

Description : Now the acid begins. I got myself a Boss DS-1 distortion pedal and OMG does it make the 303 scream. I couldn't upload the whole loop as it was too long so I have cut it into 8 bar chunks, which you can reassemble in your DAW to make some hard acid techno for your holiday fun times. Aciiid!

Description : This is a sample of the raw 303 before I put it through the DS-1 Distortion. It's kinda nice and basic and could be good to chop up in an SP/MPC sampler. Most of the notes are in C so pretty easy to work with.

Description : Just got a new (to me - it's actually two decades old) Roland Juno-D yesterday. This synth doesn't get much credit but it is a trance machine, so I love it. Here's the very first loop I recorded from it. All I have done outside of the synth is saturate the sound more and use my own reverb.

Description : 909 Tom Toms make great background rhythms but kinda get lost in the mix when they are part of a full 909 drum kit loop. So I have made some loops with my RD-9 drum machine that are just toms and nothing else, processed with some subtle reverb, delay and saturation. Enjoy.
