An intense dubstep vowel-growling bass, made with the "Stabbed" waveform from vital, transposed at -12 semitones, set to 16 voices, and max FM'd on an 808 sample. Effects used were Compressor, Delay, Distortion, Equalizer, Flanger and Phaser. Let me know if you use this on anything! :)

Description : 3 acoustic guitar parts recorded with a Warm Audio WA-47jr. The strumming part has a chorus and light drive from Native Instruments, and the picking parts are going through the Analog Machines plugin from Universal Audio.

Description : The combination of the RD-9 drum machine and Edge percussion synth never disappoints. Hard as. The RD-9 is redlining the mixer for some clipping and the Edge is running through plate reverb.

Description : Sometimes you just let the synths do their own thing and see what happens. This is just a 303 pattern playing through a randomised synth locked into D minor. Sounds weird on its own but add a kick and you're on your way.

Description : MC-505 Groovebox, playing a DnB beat really slowly and using an 808 drum kit patch. Recorded through an SP-606 with the master compressor and lo-fi vinyl simulator fx. These two Roland machines go so well together.

Description : A fairly generic, but (imo) good-sounding dubstep screech. It was made on Vital with a Saw Wave at -24 semitones on transpose, being FM'd by the "Water Razor" wavetable. Effects used were Compressor, Delay, Distortion and Equalizer.

Description : Behringer Edge analog synthesis sound design, this time a much harder kick that could be used for hardtechno, schranz or old-school hardstyle. Could be used for more modern hardstyle with more distortion added. I have kept this loop super basic so it is easy to cut out a single kick for your own sampler or drum machine.

Description : Another Edge loop, pure analog techno goodness. No other processing whatsoever - this is just the edge using one VCO to make the Kick and the other VCO to make the bass pulse.
