on joes real final minimal master - SBM comp by joecramer
Sounds good to me :D I love the way sounds added to the music really tell the story and add a more atmosphere. That rattle at the beginning made me think it was going to be creepy then the music started and it got happy :D Check out freesound.org for lots of free sound samples :D

Hello Phatkatz4

Thanks for your friendly comment.

Cool that you had this creepy-happy feeling with the sound, cause i tryed to tell a -got lost (in the jungle), find the right way- story with the beginning.
So it looks like it worked a bit.

stay tuned

No Bronies? Darn! You brother wouldn't be Cliff Burton would he? (my inspiration to play bass to begin with) You definitely masturbate that 4 string well :D This is pretty happy, and a bit dreamy.

"You definitely masturbate that 4 string well"

When you've been doing it for as long as I have, you've got it down pretty good. I still mess up a lot though.

ffffffurrrrrr Oh sorry, was gagging on that last hit. Only 2? better be some damn good stuff!! Cool :D

Any more than two and the brain blood drops to the ankles.

And what is ffffffurrrrr!!

Is it like when Zem, the talking mattress from Hitchhiker's Guide, likes something and says "Voom"?

Or like when Eddie Murphy's cousins say "Goonie Goo-Goo" after catching fish with their mouths?

It's a mystery for Mr. E.

Off to a good start anyway. better mic for sure will help with sound quality. Izotope plugins work really good for giving tracks a really nice sound as well. Practice makes perfect, you got the singing part down for sure :D

Lol...it's a virtual smorgasbord of shit. All that you mentioned and more. :) Thanks I worked a bit on the tone of the Guitars and Bass. Was trying to pay homage to Wolf Mother and the whole Old School Black Sabbath, Led Zep, AC/DC thing.
Thanks for the listen and the kind words. Much appreciated.

on Things That Have Never Been by StaticNomad
Darn aliens abandonded me in space, can you have that space courier pick me up on the way by? This does sound like a live band, really cool! Are you sure this isn't live? :D I have to go to the full version now that was Great!! :D
StaticNomad
StaticNomad replied 27th Feb 2014 - 11 years ago
Sure, send your coordinates and I'll send my space courier by on the way back to me.

I always offer that service to people who check out my tracks and then get so high and far out (literally) that they need returning to Mother Earth. I feel almost entirely responsible for sending them out there so feel I have a duty of care.

No, certainly no band, live or otherwise, here. Just one guy jamming away and editing those jams down and making multiple tracks on the same project timeline from all the playing and edits and additional synths and drum programming and stuff.

It was an 18.5 min track but I felt it was too long, especially as there are killer riffs that it took 15 mins to get to. I've been trying to do shorter tracks so now this one is 9:40 and the other 11:52 so neat little pop singles after that edit. Guaranteed hit singles and international magazine cover status when they're released.

What a surprise that after the edit I added more to each half. I can spin endless stuff out of some riffs and sections if I revisit after a while away, which is partly why I make such long tracks. Ideas that are months and years apart.

Here's the second half, with its new bouncy reggae 2 min intro.

Enjoy and thanks for checking it and this track out
