Description : Instrumental.
Uses minor 9ths, unresolved harmonies, and atmospheric sounds.
Features my favorite guitar, an old Hagstrom. Minimalist playing, and some long bended notes.
Punchy in parts, sad and enigmatic in others.
I think this one escaped from me a bit, but that's good. I hope! Re-worked, mixed and mastered 3/29/2016

This composition is ol' skool in a most brilliant way. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I love the flute (long and quite funny story). I can definitely envision this as a theme song for a movie. Perhaps the end credits on a Clint Eastwood movie!
Hi Mykeal
Many thanks for taking the time to listen and comment. I often try to break out of ol' skool, but I guess I have too many miles on the clock! :)
What a nice sounding production, loved all your instrument choices. The guitar has a wonderful tone. I really liked the flow of this, nice breaks and changes, such a nice track on a Sunday morning! Well done Bob!
The rain has stopped falling and now the sun begins to return warming us with her life giving rays, beautiful track :D Great clean mix too, excellent job!!
I really like how you get clear separation in your instruments. That flute(?)is perfect. Beautiful guitar work. I really enjoyed that piece even though I am not huge into this style and know very little about it, it was a pleasure to listen to the quality production and the talented musical work. No advice can I give to this it sounded all good to me even though I could hear a tad of white noise from somewhere which could have been added for atmosphere or my listening devices but it wasn't enough to detract from its beauty.
dear Bob always listening to throughbred musicians like U is a great pleasure for me , I've listened 3 acoustic & 1 folk track of yours before and now I can underestand U're

man....this is superb bbedford48..great to hear this kind of thoughtful composing and well chosen instrumentation...your talent is showing all the way in this one...oh yeah...keep that ol Hagstrom...havent seen any in a while but recall them from early band days....well done...much enjoyed over my way now that I`m finding a little time to catch up with some of my favs....Ed
Thanks for dropping by, and thanks for your kind words.
I bought a new guitar a while back, but the old Hag has a unique sound, so it still gets used mostly.
I'm getting round to catching up too!
Bob
This isn't necessarily my taste in music, however I don't let that get in the way of recognizing the talent here. The arrangement is, for a lack of better terms, classy. I like how the beat stumbles into the pillow-y melodies. Definitely a clean and professional sounding mix.
Many thanks for your perspective. I know how hard it can be to listen to stuff that you would not normally do.
I liked your description. It gave me a new insight into how the track sounds to someone else.
Bob
You still brought here, your "claw", your personality that I can now recognize from some others .... without hesitation.
I do not know how you compose, how you work, but each time it is very professional, very well organized .... seamless and high quality.
I'm really a big fan of your designs .... Congratulations Bob, this really is exceptional .... for me.
And after the rain comes the sun ....
Many thanks for your comments. Coming from someone with your high talent, it's a big boost for me.
I don't have much control of the process. I just lay tracks and try to refine them. It doesn't always work. One thing I like is to make the melody tentative, and hold the unresolved. Another thing I've noticed is, that the best parts of the music often comes from mistakes.
best regards

Description : Ok...here it is! Another colab with maestro Tumbleweed! Ed provided the unfinished, basic track...I composed and recorded the long intro using different synths and then added piano (well to the fore) and some brass arrangements along the rest of the track (no violin this time...hehe) and then did the final mixing to wrap it up as it is presented now. I hope you will enjoy it and we both appreciate your listening time and your valuable comments:) Otherwise all thanks to Ed!

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...
This track is an elaboration of dgalantic’s track “Starting Over 0172257.” It is almost entirely comprised of loops by other artists on looperman. The newsreel in the intro section is from public domain footage of the Vietnam War. Prince Fatty chimes later in with some words of wisdom. The track was sequenced with Mixtikl and edited in Audacity.
Loops from the following artists are included:
1. ThatJeffCarter’s guitar “feedback 197765”
2. three of Nightingale’s harmonica trills: “angels 0088377, inner light 0088361 and never and never 0088366”
3. Heavily fx’ed vocal excerpts from Eshar’s “7th Dimension 0002644”
4. Dcmack’s rhythm loops “2 bass drums 1- 0085449, 2- 0085446, and 4- 0085448.”
5. Steelyvibe’s choral wash “luno frunezo 0005719”
6. Nightingale’s guitar loop “diving deep 0043488”
7. Rasputin1963’s chorals “ soul ladies gospel riff 0088641 and reggae soul girls choir 0087693”

Description : So a new track for everyone. Im pretty impressed by this one, and would even place it higher than one of my best tracks, Angel And A Demon. However, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should put vocals to it. I have some in mjnd, but idk if itd be better to leave as is and keep it instrumental or not. Take a listen and let me know! Also, let me know if anything is too loud, still working on my mastering.
Description : NEVER STOP DREAMING!
