Really nice rendition. I had to check it out, since we did a version, which is quite different. It's on our page if you want to check it out. It's quite interesting to hear another style. Very good job! I'll bet Bonnie will love it.
You know I had to check out your track and, as always, really enjoyed it. I love a Hammond organ, even though it is considered 'vintage' and not used much, now a days. If I were to make a suggestion, maybe a lead run of some kind would break it up a bit. Possibly sax, guitar, or even continue your organ for a few measures.
Hi Scott :)
I totally agree with about a breaking the track up a bit . It's still a bit tough for me as I'm not a musician and do much things by instinct . I tried a solo in my next upload, following your piece of advice ( thanks ! ) .
Many thanks for your instructive and gentle words . They honour me a lot :D
Cheers and "bises" as we say here .
Well I put a lot of heart in it but I'm not sure we can call it a piece of work as I'm a second-rate musician, unfortunately .
I'm very glad you liked what you heard, Scott .
Thx a lot for your positive words :D
Cheers ;)
Behnam, this is exceptional. I have always considered you a great guitarist, even though I don't quite understand your music. I hear things that are very difficult and masterful in your playing. This piece sounds like Flamenco to me. Is this the Spanish style you were going for? Maybe one day you can do something I can put some drums and percussion to.
Scott first of all for sure U're the only drummer here who is quite free from myside to select by himslef anyone of my trials to add any membranophonic or percussive ( even other things as I have seen U're so good in other instruments too)line,& I'll be glad ,buT after these replies I'll senT U something thaT I've composed while thinking Scott would be needed for any type of beats about that in which meassure Transition happens from 6.8 to 7.8 or 13.8 and then again changes to 4.4 in iT ! and about your question,if U take a look to Ed's comment and right in the same way that Franco too defines such notation textures in that way,We can categorize it in to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freestyle_music
and according to this style has begun from latin commmunity of newyork since 1980 and as U've truelY recognized , it has spanish or famenco taste.thnx alot Scott for worthy attention & greatest appreciations for your generous word & taken time to listen & commenT.best wishes.___Behnam
Very enjoyable piece, Wayne. Quality is excellent...you can hear everything clearly. I'm envisioning some Latin percussion, maybe bongos, congas, shakers, etc, but than, I hear drums and percussion in my sleep!
Thanks Scott! I thought the ringing in my ears was bad but hearing drums and percussion in your sleep? damn.
I have a bunch of percussion instruments here and virtual percussion instruments galore but I tried to show some restraint with this one, one of those less is more deals I was thinking. It was tempting to keep adding things though, lol.
Thanks for stopping by, noticed you have a new one, on my way to check it out!
Hey, BB...This is a cool little track! I'm not sure what Progressive EDM is, but guess you don't have to know to enjoy your groovy creation. In my early years, I really got into the electronic genre, starting with Kraftwerk.
Hi Candelaria. I read your profile and assume you are a singer looking to collab with other musicians. My Collab partner Franco and I are always looking for singer with similar musical interests. Check out our site. Maybe we can get something going.
i listened 2 piece of yours ,and it was beautifull.
you play very good.
i will listen more if i can.
but your music sounds jazzy and that's not my mood.
let's see what will happen in future.
can you play or compose something if i want you to do?
Cool Track, G. D&B isn't usually the stuff I listen to, but thought I'd give it a listen just for S&G, and I found it really nice. I'm amazed that you could do something in a couple hours. Hell, it take us anywhere from several days up to a week for completion of our tracks. Anyway, keep up the good work.
Very nice...I really enjoyed this track. I look forward to your re-mix. Try to get that volume up so your listeners and downloader don't have to max out the volume on their end. Other than that, really good job!
Honestly Zahr, I really have no criticism for you! I like your track. I'm not too knowledgeable of the genre, but I have always loved reggae and this is a cool track in my opinion. I just suggest you keep doing what your doing and any flaws you may hear will correct itself as time goes by.
Well Franco you know as a musician we are never happy with our work. Yes is sounds good to others, but we always are never happy with our work, it could have been better on the rhythm or the lead. I do appreciate your compliments.
I hope you, Scott and I can do a tune real soon.
Thank you so much Scott for your kind words and appreciation. As I mentioned in my description of the song, it is a tribute to my father and an effort to keep his legacy relevant.
Ok, now your tugging at the heart strings. This is one of my favorite classical pieces. In fact, I did a version of it in March, 2012. I uploaded it to my collab site temporarily. https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/148251
A little advise...You are going to get a bunch of the so called 'pros' telling you that you should do this, or do that. Screw them all! The only way you will lean is by doing. Of course you don't know what they are talking about...They are trying to impress you with big tech words. Just have fun and learn as you go. The piece of the link I included here is terrible, in my opinion, but I have learned much since than.
Well, I guess you are right, maybe in some way; but I think that if there are people who know about this stuff (music), it would be good to learn a little from they.
And... about your Canon's version... well... I listened, and I like the strings and the piano solo :)
Anyway, I'm glad that you took your time to write a comment. It's significative to me.
Thanks for listening! :D
Well, Dan...I must admit, I have no idea what 'Trap' is, so I thought I'd give it a listen and expand my knowledge. It's a very interesting piece of work, but again I must admit, I am more confused now, than when I first listened! I'll check out more of the genre and see if I can understand it a bit better
Cheers Scott! Appreciate you listening and taking the time to comment. Yeah trap is becoming a popular genre to more urban listeners. Check out trapnet.com on soundcloud. You will hear more proper trap music on that site. ^___^
I'm browsing the tracks on this site looking for something decent to listen to and went through about 5 pages. Well, nothing worth while until I came across this little jewel! I love pretty much everything about this track, so can't really pin-point any one thing. Great job!
Hey man glad you kept on flipping dem pages. LOL Glad you enjoyed the tune. I was putting this tune together to try and show some emotion with the instruments. Thanks for taking the time and listen! Appreciated! Filaofsoul
