Drop The Trap - Dansjoy4

Name: Drop The Trap
Duration: 247 s
Channel: dansjoy4
Description: This was made using a few loop samples from various artists on looperman. Sorry I can't remember all of your names but if you listen to this you will recognize your samples. This is a trap track. I guess hip hop was the closest genre I could connect to it...since looperman doesn't have that genre available in description.

I dig this very much! Great sounding drums, and your mix is spot on! I'm getting into trap a lot lately, and it's nice to hear this one! I'd like to play this on my hip hop/rap/trap/trip hop sort of show on loopradio.net if that's okay. Faved for sure! Thanks for the DL!

dansjoy4 replied 4th Feb 2014 - 12 years ago

Hey thanks Spiv! I appreciate the compliments! Yeah trap is becoming my favorite genre to mix with too. I'll be honored for you to play this on loopradio.net! It will be nice for it to have more recognition. Thanks again for listening and for the comments! B-)

Nice! I am actually a big fan of trap/dub although I know I could never make such a track myself haha, so just a big fan. Kudos to you, love it!

dansjoy4 replied 1st Oct 2013 - 13 years ago

Hey glad to know you are a fan of this music! Thanks for listening and commenting. You never know what you can do when you put your mind to it. You should give it a shot. ;-)

SeriouslyJoking 30th Sep 2013 13:58 - 13 years ago

I'm hating and loving this at the same time - it's a badass track!
Very effective (an at the same time annoying) synth line, it stucks immediately.
Cool wobbles and break downs.
If someone comes up with a cool vocal to this it could be a super hit.
I didn't know you made this kind of music, Dan! You are very versatile as a producer.

dansjoy4 replied 30th Sep 2013 - 13 years ago

lol...Hey thanks SJ for taking the time to listen and the compliments. Yeah I don't do this type of music often but I like to experiment with all kinds of genres. You seem to be the same way...looking forward to hearing some more of your tracks.

crazy track sounds more like slow dubstep. real nice tho

dansjoy4 replied 29th Sep 2013 - 13 years ago

Thanks bro! Hmmmmm....never thought about it sounding like slow dubstep but I did use some dubstep samples. Thxs for listening and commenting. ^___^

macdanny 27th Sep 2013 18:12 - 13 years ago

it'll be a mission.. but i'd like to at least try an write to that.

dansjoy4 replied 28th Sep 2013 - 13 years ago

Hey macdanny! Thanks for listening and comment...yeah be my guest. I would love to hear what you come up with lyrically for this.

ScottFranco 23rd Sep 2013 23:44 - 13 years ago

Well, Dan...I must admit, I have no idea what 'Trap' is, so I thought I'd give it a listen and expand my knowledge. It's a very interesting piece of work, but again I must admit, I am more confused now, than when I first listened! I'll check out more of the genre and see if I can understand it a bit better

Thanks for turning me on to it.

Cheers,
Scott

dansjoy4 replied 24th Sep 2013 - 13 years ago

Cheers Scott! Appreciate you listening and taking the time to comment. Yeah trap is becoming a popular genre to more urban listeners. Check out trapnet.com on soundcloud. You will hear more proper trap music on that site. ^___^

This track is dirty, in a very good way. The synth/bass used from 0:49 and throughout seems to be the main part. This is something that could be listened to while chilling with some fellas. I like this, man!
