Thanks a lot for your nice comment:) About the drums: I started with some very low Rhodes-piano notes then I added some jazz low-tom, hi-hat and other jazz drum sounds. Cool track, but I'm unsure what 8bit chiptune. Is it music for games? Please pardon my ignorance, but I've seen a few of these and never really knew what it was.
Hi Scott, I can understand that there is people out there that doesn't know what a 8 bit chip tune is. I'll give it a try. An 8 bit chip tune is a tune created for the 8 bit platforms like Nintendo Entertainment System NES or like the Commodore 64. Since the different platforms has got different sound chips but with the kind of the same sound like sawtooth, waveform, square and triangle sounds all of them sounds alike in a way that can be described as a chip tune. Since many of the users spent hours playing a game with music in the background many of the old players recognize the typical computer game sound.
I have no idea if you still know what I'm talking about and there are people out there that can put it in other words, so just google it if you feel like you still did not get it. English is not my mother tongue you know ;)
