Ear candy....that is what this is, ear candy.

My ears are constantly being assaulted via all forms of media by all sorts of "noise" claiming to be music....

so it is wonderful to know that there are places where one can still find real music. That's why the Loop is the place to be.

This is fantastic. Your bass is always so spot on, and Slap, well he is a freaking genius. But the best part on this was that last chord you played. One word to describe this one - AWESOME!!

Well done Dave (and Slap). Two of the best out there. Thanks for the soothing start to my day. Stay well.

Hi Dave,
seeing how this has been put at the top of your list I thought I would give it another listen. The only problem I found was I did not add this to my Fav list the first time
Problem fixed :)

Wow this track has a ton of innovation. In terms of Hip hop, it really breaks a lot of the simplistic barriers. The way that the track progresses is just awesome, and your skills with a bass shine through. The picture that this track paints is amazing and the title fits it well.
Just all around great work man. Really interesting, different and good all in one sweet package.
Only thing that threw me off was the end. It felt a bit too rushed out you know?
Great piece. I dig it.

Hey Broken..thanks man..this was an entry for a competition Coney was running..so it's not really a full on attempt at Hip Hop as we had to use some communal loops as well.....However I'm currently working on a track with Dolawhite which is the real deal...cheers planet :)

You know, sometimes trying to find the right adjectives to describe something this good is nothing more than an exercise in futility. In those rare cases where I am speechless, I let my slack jawed, drool covered chin do the talking.

I seriously don't think you are mortal.

I swear that was a goose in there.

At this point, I can only stand and applaud....

and wipe my chin.

So, Dave, I do quite a bit of work with a bass player from San Francisco. He asked me who my favorite bass player was and I told him Planetjazzbass. He says "who the hell is he?" So, I sent him off to Looperland to check out your tracks. He came back a fan.

I say all of this because this track is a great example of why your bass work is up there at the top of my list. Man, there is magic in those hands...you do know how to caress Wilma ;)

This whole track is just a wonderful auditory stew my friend, and I enjoyed every last bite. I love gravy, but I love the "Gravy Train" even more.

Hi Dave, It seems I haven't been over this way for ages to listen to some of you booty.
This track is super fun, I think I just heard a massive belch lol... Great production mate as always with the mix really crisp and clean. Your playing is awesome as ever, just loving those Buddy Guy type guitar licks from your trust Fender ( strat or tele ) ? I fancy a Telecaster, but Fiona is having non of it lol....

I will be uploading the first draft of Zoo hopefully on Friday. Alexander is just recovering from one hell of a bad lip infection due to an allergic reaction to cane reeds. This happened when he was 8 and he has played on plastic ever since, but his new teachers kept saying cane was a superior sound over plastic and forced him to try them again. Two days later his lip looked like Mick Jagger's after being punch by Joe Bugner lol.... Anti biotic's have their uses...

Cheers, Slap...

Man this is an old one,I was still using outboard guitar effects then..two guitars my G&L F100 twin humbuckers and a G&L Legacy singlecoils (which I had borrowed for a spell and nearly bought).....Cane reed allergy for Alexander!..Oh that must be a drag..there goes your embouchure..mate he'd better never go to Queensland Australia,it's infested with Cane Toads!lol..thanks for stopping by Steve..I'll have new tracks up soon...cheers Dave :)
