    Dave,

This is simply brilliant. I love the innocence of the vocals and your respectful treatment of them. This is wonderful from start to finish. It brought back memories of when my daughters were that age.

    Thanks for that.

And thanks to your niece as well.

Wow, this is quite the track. Vanessa's voice is perfect over what is a great exemplar of a mystical backing track.

    Awesome job you two.

Easily the best song on Looperman, amazing production, cute voice, reminds me of the Final Fantasy: Advent Children Movie, during a scene where a little girl speaks about the Life Stream, or the worlds Life Stream, definitely if you haven't looked at it you should, if she makes any more music will you be uploading it? I' be very grateful to hear it from here.
Truly amazing, well done to her and you, seems like music is in the family eh? :)

the ebb and flow of this piece is mesmorizing...it almost immediately takes you out into the middle of the sea, to bobwith the waves in a tiny vessel. its only the certainty of her voice that reassures you you wont capsize...
this is such a neat piece. the production value is out of this world. ive never heard levels so beautifully balanced. kudos to both of you. cant wait to hear more of your work!

Thank you very much....after a bit of thinking about how to handle Vanessa's voice I decided on a very minimalist approach....all the nuance and expression in her voice and the simple but beautiful imagery she encapsulated didn't need much improvisation from me....it's such a shame that we all have to grow up and in many ways leave those innocent visions behind..cheers planet

did you upload any of these vocals raw? it would be kinda refreshing to work with stuff like this instead of lil thugs that have cheap mic recordings of how much weed they smoke

From the mouths of babe, aye? My youngest is about to turn 11, and I love watching her imagination at play.

Vanessa has some lines here that are so poetic, I had to backtrack and hear them immediately again. Glad you're obviously fostering the creativity in the family youth.

    How subversive.

Hey Abe..cool..I just love the way children can be so totally spontaneous and emotive given half the chance...Such a change when I was a kid where children were to be seen and not heard...I think kids, every kid should have the opportunity to become involved musically from a young age...couldn't hurt. thanks mate cheers Dave :)
