Very deep and out of this world yet strangley still in it
i wish it was longer tho
and slaps sax is just a dream its something ive always wanted to hear but never have jazz this good is hard to find these days
I figured it was time for the neighbors to get up this morning, so what better way than a great funk track from one of the best bass men in the business. Everything in this one is flawless.
Damn, I love that bass line...
You sure you didn't play with Earth, Wind and Fire???
Hahaha, what a great auditory journey. Outstanding effort and straight to favorites. Hope all is well down under...ooooooohhh!
Hey Bear..I used to play with Earth,Wind and Beer....I get asked that question all the time!lol..thanks buddy hope the neighbours aren't cursing my name!..cheers Dave :)
When leaving a review try and be helpful and give constuctive praise or critisim.
Well I'am a little speechless right now trying to digest what I just heard!
But I must say it's fantastic, usually I would turn to something else after a few seconds since everything sounds the same these days, but not this. 2 thumbs way up.
Hehe..Thanks man..I was a little speechless myself when I first heard Dola's lyrics!lol..the guy is anything but boring and definitely in a class of his own (he probably was at school!) LOL...cheers mate and many thanks from Dola and myself :)
I must admit I was thinking about you the other day then turned on the television and was greeted by "Fiddle-dee-dee..War,war,war all this talk of war is boring..etc" (Scarlett talking to the Tarelton twins in the opening scene from GWTW)....and that made me do a double take....thanks for the listen
I've seen You around the site quite a bit, but never had listened to anything of yours yet. So when this was featured I hopped on it. really like it. gonna check out the rest of your catalog. nice to chill out to,thanks.
Def impressed by your musical fusion; its a clash of culture all together. Your creation could as well be featured in movies, documentaries and even video games :P. Glad i came through - Don't stop!!
Mate this is so massive, one of the best hip hop tracks heard on site, wow you doing hip hop lol, this is one very impressive piece, not much I can say on this one, because everyone else has already said it already, totally amazed by this my friend...brilliant...Massive fav'd...Great Collab...Peace n Respect...Estefano...
Hey Esti..thanks man,the thing is I've always liked Hip Hop but have really struggled with the attitude..well mainly the gangsta bravado, you know what I mean, you shall never see me with my hat on backwards though! lol...cheers buddy Dave :)
You seem to have captured the essence of your definition of the human zone. The people's voices in the beginning made for the texture of the piece, the tabla beats give for an asian ethnicity, the sax made the contemporary sounds of the west, the bass gave it the groove, and synthesizer really gave it a modern edge. A piece well compiled for the ears of a higher sound. Will definitely be checking out more of your tracks sir.
The track turned out amazing! Instant Looperman classic. You made the right choice linking up with Dolawhite. This is hip hop music on psychedelic mushrooms. Pass me another handful.
Hey Paul..thanks from Dola and myself man..I've said this before and I'll say it again..it's primarily from listening to your music that I made the transition to accepting and digging Hip Hop music....That's huge man!..I've tried getting some friends of mine to do the same, but their not just set in their ways....their cemented!..lol..cheers man and thanks again!...Dave
hahaha!! Planet and dola is the new RZA and MEF!! First of all I envy Dola for gettin his hands on this track before me because this track is fire....now dola sucks you in by stayin fairly tame on verse one....But on verse two, classic Dola reigns supreme lol Thanx for keepin it hip hop all day son, your lyrics were dope....the music itself was very moody....it can easily invoke emotions in a lyricist....I love that planet is sharing his sound and allowin us to "taint" his masterpieces lol. Planet....This song that you made is like the color Red. Deep, rich, pleasant, and progressive standing alone without vox.....But once Dola(whom is like the color blue) was added, it turned this track to a whole "notha" color LOL! I enjoyed it and I hope I hear more collabs from you like this one!!
~Thez~
Hey MrZ man!..that's very cool of you to say that and you can be assured once I get this genre style wired I'll be sending you a track to work your skill on......I'm always going to do stuff that is me musically but it's giving the proper rhythmical underpining to the vocal flow that I'm learning..your one of the few dudes that know I've never hated on the music just the attitude! lol...cheers Dave
Wow, This is pretty sick. Has this pull along to it. The strings really slug along. Bass solo came out awesome, nothing like hearing someone slapping a mean bass solo out.
Smooth perc work, nice instrumentation all around.
The track overall has a nice heavy set feel to it. The raps are surprisingly ill considering the lyrical content haha, it takes someone skilled to pull off that kind of cheese with that kind of grime.
I enjoyed this PJB! bomb collab man.
Keep on grinding fam.
Thanks from Dola and myself man!....it's been an interesting mix that's for sure..and it'll go on from here with some future maetrial planned between the two of us....cheers bro Dave :)
Hey John..I had a similar reaction when I first heard Dola's material on the loop..the guy is very entertaining, witty and humorous, there's other things I can't say without the blasphemy filter kicking in! lol..cheers buddy Dave :)
Been awhile since I have heard anything from you. I saw you in the featured window and it reminded me. I worked a lot last year so I wasn't on here much, or making music...but now I am retired and can do what I love most...make music.
So this tune is really cool. I like hearing the bass...sounds like a fretless. The vocals are right on and fit right in this song. I'd have to say you've out done yourself as this a great tune. Very good job Dave.
Hey Randy long time no see bro!...man that's great now we'll get to experience a lot more of your cool music!..musicians never really retire though it's way too addictive,we just get worn down to a nub! lol..thanks mate, this news has made my day it'll be great having you back in the fold!...cheers Dave :)
Ahh man...now every time I access this track there's a banner add saying "Contact single Thai girls now!" LOL..I'm giving them your phone number...you earned it! haha...cool flow dude! Dave ;)
This is EPIC, professional sound track, all the elements are perfect, strings, bells, drums .. dola is ill haha ...
awesome track...I do not know what more to say!
