Description : Chill Sax and Flute Instrumental
This one was recorded entirely as audio. The flute, sax, and synth sounds all came from the onboard sounds of my keyboard. Guitar and bass were done through my processor, and all the beats came from my Korg Electribe.
I quite honestly preferred using the Electribe. I guess this old guy just likes his buttons and knobs. ;)

Description : Rock instrumental strongly based on one of my favorite guitar riffs from the early 2000's. I hope you see what I did with the song title ;)

Description : I took a closer look at bandlab this weekend and tried recording my guitar directly into it. I found a guitar sound called Shoe Gaze that I really liked. That sound brought this piece of music out of me. I had a drum track initially but wasn't happy with it so I turned it off this morning and immediatly had a much stronger emotional respone to the music. So I knew I was done at that point and didn't want to make any more changes. I have no idea what genre this is. Track is 79bpm Fmin

Description : Here is the idea. I put down some accoustic guitar now it's your turn. I want to see what the group comes up with. So do anything you want add to the first half of the track or take over the second half. You choose. The track is in D#minor at 69BPM. Even if you don't play. You can get the piano roll out and "think black keys". I'm looking forward to where this goes. Or maybe someone wants to sing? Make sure you post a link to what you created! I want to listen.

Description : This is my attempt to add lyrics to a song that was so good it didn't need them.
I used Asociale's song description for my song story. That plus the original song was speechless and left me speechless.
Original Song
Artist - Asociale

Description : Hey LM friends! I recently discovered splice.com (yes, I know I'm late) and am loving Stacks and Song Starters. Today I realized I'd basically made one for Richard, so I wanted to share it with you all. Three sounds over the loop, then each solo. Loop has HPF + delay; original is a namelessprod loop. If this is useful let me know and I could make some more like this.

Description : 7/29/26 - Updated mix (lowered soundscape, increased guitar and added tape simulation)
I made it as an experiment using BandLab's free tier with no external gear. The soundscape comes from Freesound, and the guitar was recorded using only my cell phone's mic.
If you hear someone gasping for air, don't worry - it's just me remembering to breathe between chords ;) - JAI

inspectorj - wind synthesized a, ambience seaside
dbache - seagulls

Description : This track is based on Richard Shekari's song, created from the loop "Forgetting 89bpm A" by Namelessprod. I loved the original and asked Richard if I could collaborate. He generously shared his stems, and I added some subtle guitar, bass, synths, and my own mix. My goal was to stay true to the song while exploring a few ideas. My favorite part is the chorus atmosphere. I'm still learning and love discovering new tricks. Hope you enjoy it! -JAI

Description : My tracks seem to get a few downloads which I assume are people wanting to mess around with the track.
Well I made this a few months back and don't seem to be taking it any farther. I thought maybe it would be a good starting point for someone else.
Track is at 94 bpm

Description : This is an old song I recorded about 20 years ago on a digital 8 track. I wanted to see what I could do with it so I ran it through a stem extractor and cleaned it up in my DAW. I was pleasantly surprised by how I was able to give it new life. I did add in the backing synth now that I have one :)
I really don't know what genre to call this but hopefully it's worth a listen.

Description : Remake/mix of Akon's song back again.
He is back again in 2026!
I added in an AI female vocal which I think really changed the feel of the song.
My favorite part is how I managed to turn my guitar into what sounds like a synth. When Kai is rapping that is just my guitar with lots of delay on it. If you listen closely you will hear I managed to sneak guitar in on other parts as well.
