Slow Motion - Chill Instrumental - JAI26

Name: Slow Motion - Chill instrumental
Duration: 236 s
Channel: JAI26
Description: Chill Sax and Flute Instrumental This one was recorded entirely as audio. The flute, sax, and synth sounds all came from the onboard sounds of my keyboard. Guitar and bass were done through my processor, and all the beats came from my Korg Electribe. I quite honestly preferred using the Electribe. I guess this old guy just likes his buttons and knobs. ;) 85bpm F#min

Something different and a delightful flute trip - I don't think guys ever tire of playing with their knobs, buttons and switches by the way ;)

You made me smile. I can't argue with that;)

I just checked it and noticed you sent it on July 11th. I truly apologize for missing it! I had to create a Gmail account because of my Android phone, since I need it to log into the Play Store and other services. I dont really get any notifications on it, so other than that, I honestly dont even think of it as an email account. Sorry about that!

JAI26 replied 26th Aug 2026 - 1 month ago

No worries. I'll make sure to use the correct one next time.

RichardShekari 26th Aug 2026 12:21 - 1 month ago

Maybe you sent it to my Gmail. I hardly ever check that one, though. My main email is the Yahoo.com one. Sorry about that!

RichardShekari 25th Aug 2026 16:38 - 1 month ago

I cant play any real instruments, haha, so I hide behind my vocals. You can imagine how much I envy people who can actually play instruments!
This is really great, James! I really enjoyed it.

JAI26 replied 25th Aug 2026 - 1 month ago

I had sent you an email when I first started working on this one because I thought it sounded like something you might like working with. I think I might have sent it to an email that you don't actively check on accident.

What's awesome to me is watching you during all these stages of your journey into music,
Its very rewarding to me

Dude it's been crazy. I am getting close to coming up on my first year back into recording. It was such a steep learning curve initially and I'm still finding plenty of rabbit holes to travel down. I really like LM, I view it as my music journal which should be fun to look back on over the years.

Beautiful music. Really enjoyed listening.
Great job!

Thanks dude. I appreciate you listening!

Nothing beats real hardware and tactile control! Recording this live gives the drum grooves and synth layers such a raw, organic warmth. That sax and flute arrangement over creates an incredible laid-back atmosphere. Outstanding work, bro!

Thanks f2f. I appreciate you listening!

Asociale 24th Aug 2026 14:35 - 1 month ago

Hi James! The key of your track brings such pleasure to my ears. I agree F# is perfect for chill out genre (in my opinion). This choice of instruments, FXs and light drums creates a haven of peace in my soul. Very beautiful track and the whole thing is great!

JAI26 replied 24th Aug 2026 - 1 month ago

Hey Asociale - good to hear from you my friend. I can't ever claim to go into something with a plan... I just started with the guitar chord progression and just kept experimenting with idea's. Honestly more bad ideas that good usually. But I like the way the way this one ended up. Thanks for listening!
