Description : An excerpt from a poem by Michael McClure in which he speaks in his 'beast language'. I used some random sounds as percussion. The 'noise' in the background is me jamming on my old theremin through a guitar pedal. Happy Hallowe'en!

Description : I created this track after trying Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) sold in balloons at a festival. I tried to recreate some of the auditory effects, and wondered if listening to this while taking N₂O would somehow enhance the sensory experience. For the bass I tried to recreate the boinging noise a stretched balloon might make, and I tried to keep the whole backing track uncomplicated in contrast to the lively vocals. Vocals by A.M. Mews.

Description : Yes, I actually tried to make a dark neuro dnb song. And for the most part, I like it. I was deeply inspired by KrypteK (go check him out on soundcloud) and he's really good at dnb. Here, I try (and fail) to replicate what he does but it still sounds decent. Feedback is always appreciated! :) (btw, sorry if there is white noise in the bass section, one of my vst effects decided to not work after a couple weeks ago and is still not working correctly.)

Description : This is second try to write edm music. Chord progression is simple 4 bars repetition, melody has a lot of syncopation over verse, chorus, and bridge. Also, Bass or keyboard compression against the kick drum. Riser and noise needed. Within this simple format, making hit song is certainly difficult.

Description : This song is much more mysterious and "scary" then all the other ones I've uploaded here on looperman. The reason for this is simple: I create every track for a specific book I'm writing. It's not a story full of fantasy, adventures and drama, but a story which is way darker and scarier then SnowFire. I even gave the track some noise to make it even more atmospheric.
I called this track "Silent Voice", because it is supposed to represent a situation in which the protagonist is alone at home. He's working on his computer and unexpectedly he hears a voice. A voice which whispers his name over and over again, but every time he tried to listen closely to it, she falls silent. As if he had imagined something that wasn't there..

Description : The other day, I recorded my drive home from work, and used the sounds from my pickup truck to recreate the into song from the first gen Pokemon games (red/blue/green). A lot of cutting and re-sampling, and for the sub-bass I tossed a sound of my door closing into Serum and picked a nice sine-like single cycle from it and used that to synthesize the bass. I cut the sound of the horn into super-small pieces and repeated them really fast to build the lead. My pickup is a diesel, so the exhaust has a lot of noise in it and covers a good portion of the frequency spectrum, so i used it as a kind of wide-stereo pad. sound of my keys layered with the door for a snare, and the ding from the dashboard and the horn made up a couple more instruments. No sampler plugins, just pitch-shifting everything on the timeline and EQing and other FX etc... Tell me what you think of this experiment!

Description : A collab with nicetones101 ! This has been awhile in the making, real life caught up with me and i had to take a little musical break. I looked over my past comments i received and i tried to put all the constructive criticism to work ! I turned the vocals up a bit , I also cut down on the effects and left a clean vocal track. I did want the chaos and the noise to still be a player in certain parts though. I tried to create two distinct atmospheres, an uneasy calm and a manic episode. I prefer headphones with this track as there is a lot going on at certain times.

Description : Back in with that 4/4 melodic pulsing; oh yeah! -- Assuming I haven't missed anything, this will be the first track of its kind that I have done on Logic. This time I was aiming for something sort of similar to Freedom with the sound, but ended up becoming a bit better after being influenced by PhaseOne's new album and getting FM8. The track has actually been sitting on my hard drive for the better part of six months, so... yeah, I needed to post something. Vocals have been provided (royalty free) for free by The Entranced (just google the name - she has some fantastic acapellas). -- The song is comprised of my usual synths, except I've replaced my original ES2 pad with a modified version of a Supersaw pad I worked on in FM8 (which, by the way is not the best synth for this; Sylenth would have been much better) and uses all six operators on saw plus the noise operator, as well as reverb, detune, a touch of analogue and massive panning. Other things of significance: much of the vocal content has been polyphonically stretched to fit to the beat, because for some reason the tempo change did not go as expected. -- Download here is a 224 kbps MP3 file, however you can download a 320 kbps AAC file from my Soundcloud (see my profile) or request a 24 bit WAV file.
