Description : "Oh no - not jazz metal! You're not supposed to mix those genres together." Yes, but someone's got to and the musical gods have chosen me for the difficult task. 9 mins of instrumental jazz metal - damn I sure know how to write a hit song - US No 1 here I come. Anyway - there's some dark, swinging groovy jazz, with Rhodes and guitar as the main instruments, for a few minutes and then some haunting, thumping evil breaks loose. Look out for the powerful synth horn sound. And then it just gets heavier and heavier before returning to some nice chillgroove funky mystery jazz. Instruments played and/or programmed: electric guitar, bass guitar, electric cello, multiple programmed acoustic drumkits, filtered strings, Rhodes, big synth bass, evil synth horn and a few other assorted synths. I assume this has too much jazz for metallers and too much metal for jazzers. So, only for weirdoes like me who enjoy both. This will surely be too odd for most people but I like to think it's pretty interesting and powerful. Let me know how its weirdness worked for you...

This is a dark track, inspired by the sound of one of my all time favorite bands (I won't tell you the name, but I imagine it is easy to guess). As usual, guitars, bass and keys played by MrWolf. Drums are midi (EZDrum - Metal Machine kit).

Description : This is my track for this "ONE VST COMP" Ok, maybe it isn´t a real competition and this track is maybe not realy rule comform, cause it has vocals. But all others was made only with one vst. No efects or else added. Only a EQ on the overall music downmix. This is a bit dark and the lyrics make it not better. Dont listen to this when you feel real bad. Like mostly, did i translate the german words and put them under the lyrics. BTW - i am not religious and the words are 30 years old and right now i do NOT believe that the apocalypse comes soon :) but it sounds so cool - comments are sure wellcome

Description : It's occurred to me that I don't make enough tracks you can dance to. I'm not much of the dancing type so perhaps that explains why. I have my moments though. Made this track for my birthday on the 21st. Tried to do something upbeat but it still sounds kind of dark. Hope you can enjoy. If not, then enjoy that title. I thought it was kind of catchy. Description : Stringor is a huge remix of stringer ( one of my first tune ever) originaly stringer is a techno/electro tune and I turn it into a dark cinematic one. the melody at 1:12 is exacly the same in stringer and its very a complex one (258 notes). Also, this tune is on the original bpm aka 150. the fastest cimematic tune I did so far. like usual any feedback are welcome but i think this one is just EPIC.

Description : The title represents the track itself. I now feel I must master every aspect, every track must utilize my full potential. Every track I have to put my all into. This is only a rough mix, but I just couldn't resist to share it. I plan to layer this track quite thoroughly and edit at least every 4 bars. Major drum changes will also be applied. This is an evolving track, it will lead to a dark half with more focus on the drums and bass. (no pun intended) A member named StaticNomad has also partially inspired this track. I thank you for your review on my Wavy Mindframe track. Also heavy influence from Goldie, which I consider to be a master of dnb. A mixture of old and newschool dnb at 174 bpm. Description : This one's a bit different for me, breaking away from the jazz and funk for awhile. This is sort of a dark pop/rock track, incorporating a favorite instrument of mine, the mellotron (VST.) This track kinda took on a life of it's own. Description : Here is something -unusual- for between. A kind of a shanty.
In a new, minimal, dark, trancelike, wave style. Letz call it electro shanty!
This is an 80 years old song about a crew on a ship.
First there water went bad, then they got no wind, then they hit a riff.
And one after the other died on hunger and bad water ....
I changed the music abit for a more dramatic feeling :)
I used two loops from looperman for this track.

Description : Well this my first dubstep. Tried to make one for about a week now but failed badly, so I gave up and was look at some dubstep synths and drops. Saw the melody from Skraxx had to use it here is. In a way this is all him/her I just added hits drums and lezors. I wanted (for no reason) dark type dubstep feel, hopefully I got that. Description : A track reflecting a relationship of a guy i know whom could not accept that his girlfriend no longer loves him and still wants to stay in the relationship with or without love , obsessive dark and real .
