Description : So I really wanted to have a song ready for Halloween. But I've been so busy watching Stranger Things that I almost ran out of time. I managed to pull this track together. It still needs some work. But I think it's acceptable to show you guys. I think it's dark 80's electronic pop, but there's no genre tag for that. So electronic will do.

I think you have done a great job of capturing a particular pop feel from the 80s. Where did you get the vocal for this one?

    Regards,

    Dan

Very interesting and thoroughly entertaining song you're working here!

The vocals are quite cool, and not the usual for this looperman arena. I enjoyed the performance. The instrumental is also good in that early electronic fashion, most especially the composition as opposed to the sound design, which seems a bit more modern.

I'm not sure what "Stranger" is, but it obviously helped inspire some cool creativity in you, and that can't be bad. It was a fun listen, all the way through! Looking forward to hearing the finished product!

Loving this track mate, so electronic 80s! Your voice is so suited to this type of electronica! If I had one suggestion purely from my selfish taste, I would love to hear it with double time bass with a phaser or something on it, otherwise its classic 80s! Very well done my friend!!

    Greetings, Mr. Avalanche.

A droning, windy intro with pulsing bass and a beat. I dig it. Vocals are engaging. But man, this is slick as shit around 1:00 on. Rather impressed with the quality improvement in your stuff since I've been gone.

I'd like to say more, but yeah, I dig it. Very upbeat, and its also done in your unique way of singing possibly dark lyrics to manically jubilant music. Always a joy to listen to yours.

    Take care.
    Evan

    Hi Evisma.

It's good to hear from you again. I've always enjoyed listening to your music as well. So your comment really mean a lot.
You also have a point about mixing the maniacal and the jubilant. As long as there's an upbeat, catchy jingle, you can sing whatever dark shit you want. It's amusical loophole that I'm gonna keep using.

    Thanks man,
    TA

Indeed they are my vocals. I'm glad you like them. Usually I struggle to get a decent take. But this was pretty straight forward for once. As for the download, I'm sorry but I haven't quite finished the mix yet. But since you like it so much, feel free to email me at:

Description : Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!

Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening
