Description : So, I've just learned a really humbling lesson. I finally figured out some lyrics for this track today and, again, without a real singer to do the vocals, I recorded them myself. Better to have lousy vocals than to have the melody line played by a B3 patch again.With the vocals added, the track ended up reminding me of Roxy Music, so I checked out their stuff in my library. I’m a great admirer of their sound. The humbling lesson is how much better their stuff sounds.
That said, this is kind an 80’s sound, but a bit more polished than some of the other 80’s influenced tracks I’ve done. I’m still on the search for vocalists to do the vocals on my tracks properly. This one requires a male vocalist for the verses and the chorus and the female for the pre-chorus.

Description : Far out, cello-based, deep grooving, progressive, powerful and sometimes aggressive sci fi epic with lots of electronic elements and some dubstep craziness towards the end. Electric cello, slow attack guitar, resonator guitar, a little bit of bass guitar, 5 synths, lots of effects and drum loops and a few programmed drum kits. It all began with the first couple of cello riffs (one pizzicato bassline, one bowed main riff) and the hip hop beats and then grew and grew as I added more synths and drums and worked in some old, leftover guitar parts. It's very detailed and complex and the mix and sculpting of the sounds are as important as the composition. Have a good listen then come back and let me know what you thought of this twisting, turning journey into outer space. Feel free to criticise and/or tell me your favourite parts...

Description : Here it is the --- Midisparks feature Stephanie Kay Hussar - Stars collide - Fresh Dance Remix by Joe Cramer. Everything is remastered and the drums are now complete. In my opinion, it's a really good song. Description : Not really got a title for this song yet, I wanted to do a movie soundtrack type song and ended up mixing classical with rock to finish with this, it's a track that makes me smile so I hope it has the same effect on anyone that listens to it, I'd really like to know peoples thoughts on this, think it could be a bit like Marmite hahaha!! (sorry if you don't get the reference there)the track some very mild swearing in but nothing too bad :)

Description : I recorded this song several weeks ago, live in studio. It was a very spontaneous reaction to some experiences and interactions only an hour or so before.I recorded the audio tracks, as well as a video on my old digital camera. The video has been up on youtube for a while:

This was recorded with my 100 Proof microphone, Eat Lead Copper modular synth, Breaking Blue tabletop synth, modified Yamaha DD-20, and Zoom RT-123.
In the last couple of days, I finally got around to mixing the audio I had recorded into a better quality rendition. The stems were used as is, simple being mixed a bit and mastered.
