Description : Hopefully this is a fitting tribute to Trey. Since hearing the tragic news all I wanted to do is respond the best way I could to remember a major talent to this site. This song came out and is by no means a reflection of Treys short life, but this song has helped me come to terms with the fact he has gone. I hope as you listen you can understand where I'm coming from and I also hope you will look up Treys profile" fiend", and listen, review and download this talented artist's work.
Recorded in Ableton 5.3 and line 6 toneport, drums and percussion Sonic foundry, all the rest is Slap. R.I.P Trey, your mate from across the pond Slap...

    well Mr. Slap Johnson.

You are a true gentleman. as I listened to this beautiful song, which I left my house to do so that I would be uninterrupted, I thought to myself what everyone else here has said...
I have been emotional since trey left us..and I didnt even know him as thehandthatrocksthedecks said...I got chills and a lump in my throat as johnnygadget pointed out...this was before reading any of the reviews.
having said that Slap, you brought out the true, real emotion which is present in all of us and universal and a wonderful gesture...a song from you is what melded us as one to feel for Trey and the family and friends he has left behind.

I take my hat off to you and Trey as he is truly by your side right now....that is evident when we all listened to this song.

    [gizzard]....Sean

    rest easy..

the lyrical content in this one chilled me out ! sometimes you can rate a song by the goose bumps, or the hair standing up on your arms or that little tingle you get when you truly listen ! and it grabs ya by the testes and gives ya a little tug ! truly a fitting tribute, R.I.P.~ TREY !

Thanks Johnny, this song has pretty much taken over my life the past few days, and to say it gave you goose bumps means I have done the song/idea justice and Trey the respect he deserves.Cheers Slap...

Description : Of all the classic Monster tales the Wolfman is definitely one of the saddest. Cursed, and destined to live as both man and monster. During the day he sits alone with his guitar, a prisoner of lonely existence, crying his heart out through his music. Then at night, the beast emerges, and in the dark under a full moon, he cry's as he rips the hearts out of his victims! Such is the life of a cursed bluesman!

Description : This is a tune dedicated to my friend, Nancy, who followed me to the clubs I played at for years, and is still following me with my studio work. Why do I dedicate this to her? Onnacounta cause she's soooooo naughty! She never liked violins, but loved her sax! Here's to you, Nancy. Anyway, this is a little blues track with some nice guitar and sex...oh, sorry, I mean sax.

Enjoy and download away.

Description : I've been recording/playing alot of downtempo clean tone stuff so thought it's about time for something a bit more upbeat. Played on my 3 string fretless Lone Rider homemade guitar with a wine bottle neck slide By J. Ross Guitars, Boneshaker 2 string cigar box bass, addictive drums. Love it or hate it, I'm having way too much fun and that's what counts :D

Description : Been away for a while. I am doing something I usually don't do with this one. Here is a blues track I put together in a day. It features everything being done by me, with improvised solos for each instrument. This was done using Fl Studio 12 and my Korg M50 keyboard. I plan on adding lyrics to it down the road and having everything much cleaner. Anyhow, enjoy!

Which Solo did you guys like best?

Description : Cosmic Eastern chillout atmospheric shuffle blues with loads of bluesy/Eastern electric guitar playing and warm sub bass (the same synth patch I've used in about 20 tracks). No drum loops and just two programmed acoustic kits - probably the simplest drum setup I've ever used. One day I hope to make a track containing only one drum kit. Also: a few female vocal samples (including a heavily timestretched one), one section of bass guitar, a few sample-based string instruments, a few notes of organ and two synth pad instruments. So, quite a minimal instrument lineup for me. It goes uptempo around 4:31 into a grooving, stomping bit of shuffle blues and I wonder if I should have brought this section back at the end for a triumphant finale. But I'm trying hard these days not to make things too long and this is already a decent length. Also contains some darker, Eastern sections but nothing too dark. Have a listen and leave me some interesting feedback - the more detail, the better.

Description : Simple blues, rough mix. Composed with my friend Costa Zbinden. We will appreciate if someone would add some vocals! Sirup: guitars. Costa Zbinden: guitars and keys. Alex Richard: bass. Claude Barbotte: Hammond. With my own drum loop (here on Looperman, genre blues).
