Have you ever read _L'Afrique Fantôme_ by Michel Leiris? For some reason when I listen to this song I think of ethnographic surrealism. Music for the self-aware.

Before, my curiosity led me off to see what parallel Wilson Cheval's I could find currently on the internet. Most links led me to a commercial site in France selling the Safari addition of Mr. Potato Head. Naturally, I couldn't do this twice.

Somehow I think it speaks directly to the condition of your victim, the MeatPuppet EveryMan, AKA that loser Wilson Cheval. It's an existential problem to be sure.

And makes for a very good track!

You're a very talented storyteller with your songs! I really dig this one, it sounds finished without being over-produced. Wayne's subtle percussive treatments really work for a song like this. I like the rawness and the honesty of it. Great work!

Yeah, I'm hearing a bass in this and maybe for it to break into some drums, a full--but sparse--band. Has a very 60's feel to it. Me likes! :)

yes - you have another really great one - love the minimalistic percussion approach for this one - it would still be a great song ... but so different if you had a full drum kit going here -but you did this one perfectly appropriately to get the feel of the song across- at points no drums at all - wow - i never think to go that way - thank you! Oh... and nice singing too, French kid!

I worked some songs and you know some alchols plus smoke and nothing.I was looking new inspiration offffff.nothing and nothing.and i meet your song.I remember a lyon night at a bar a man on the piano , he played and sang a song and i embraced a beautiful woman.I was danced with her , i was smell her neck and i dreamed endless love... some nice ideas here brother...the production needs a little work but I'm sure you already know that.. the vocals need to come down in the mix to stop that clicking.. other than that like i've already said there are some nice ideas.. keep 'em coming brother
