Description : Improvised guitar and sax piece. Recorded in two takes, one for the guitar,then one for the sax. Mastered and uploaded in 15 minutes. I'm trying to capture true improvisation, in doing so I can listen back and be critical of my playing. Listening back is a great way of moving forward, and this is what this exercise is all about. I hope you enjoy the rawness of these songs...

Great composition on this one my friend! The two parts compliment eachother so well, and it has allowed you to impart so much feeling with the piece! The mastering sounds great too, both parts are pleasantly audible. Really nice work!

Ahh..it's very interesting when I'm listening to this I isolate the guitar..think of what I might do...when I hear what you do..it blows me away...that fluttering phrase in the middle is insane...it's a great shame that Rob Whilhelm isn't here to discuss the philosophical aspects of improvisation with you and where they can be nurtured technically...it's way over my head....cheers mate

Nice track as usual. Didnt know you played guitar as well. Jack of all trades huh? I usually play an instrument all the way through a track and just keep the pieces I think came out good. Kinda like freestyling but with instruments instead of words. Again nice track!

Description : Again, another early production from like two years ago. I had a cheap little Yamaha acoustic guitar that I borrowed and mic'd and some congas that were given to me as a birthday present. I used my iPad GarageBand app to record the strings and the big bass drum thingy at the interlude and little electric guitar parts in there too haha. All the vocals were done by myself and my brother throws in some little things here and there with his voice :P Enjoy!
