Hello Manuela
I just pressed the wrong buttons....
Anyhow, I wanted so much to thank you for your friendly support and understanding and of course to wish to you a beautiful weekend.
Greetings from Greece, Anthony
This has great professional finesse on many levels. The mix, the hooks and the structure have the makes of a very well constructed and memorable song. Kudos to all involved !
"Hi Bilbozo, thank you for your time and for the wonderful praiseI truly appreciate it! I know you're surrounded by talented musicians and have a great sense of how much work goes into a production like this. I'm already looking forward to hearing more new songs from you here. Best wishes, Manuela
Manuela u and ur fellow artists are so very talented, we all definitely learn alot from u and i look up to u alot. U take the time to listen to our music and offer encouragement and advice, and i hope u know how much youre appreciated for that alone. But youve also been a wonderful friend , as well.
It goes without saying that youre music is great, and this song is different enough that i think u should do something similar in future songs, on occasion. Sometimes its hard to find ways to innovate and keep music fresh but if u ever have that problem, it certainly doeent show lol. I really enjoyed this one. - Aaron
Hi Aaron, Thank you so much for your kind words and generous praiseIll gladly pass that on to everyone involved!
This song is from our new album, which features several other rock-inspired tracks in a similar style. At the moment, it's available to stream for free on our Bandcamp profile. Hi Manuela. How are you?
This is a pretty decent pop track. It's almost Dubstep-ish, minus the wobble bass. In your earlier comment you said you were looking for feedback. I have a few ideas to consider, if you're interested in hearing them. (...and no, they aren't coming from Valvedriver's dark place. ;D )
Excellent work as always.
Take care.
Aaron,
Hi Aaron, Thank you for your time and your kind words. Of course Im interested in ideas and honest, constructive feedback! Id be very happy if you shared your thoughts with me. (Should I send you my email address, or would you prefer to share some examples right here?) If Im able to implement the ideas together with my team, Ill definitely follow up on them.
Hey, I love your dark sides *smile. Thanks againwarm regards to Ms. (V) Manuela as well.
Manuela. Right away the ambient and ominous undertones at the entrance is too easy to love. Next the heavy business hits hard! The lead and rhythm guitars are WOW! The vocals are magnificent. This is another very successful group effort. I know you will scrap with me, but this is a gold standard. Peace.
Hello Mark, thank you so much for your time, your kind words, and of course, your high praise!
Gold standard? You know me, smile even though I won't contradict you now, *smile.
Best regards, Manuela
The music drew me in from the very first second.
When it goes from soft to rock, that guitar part is amazing.
Your rock voice sounds great, as do the lyrics, and the male vocalist sounds good too.
All in all, a fantastic track.
Big compliment for everybody.
Hi Mom, Thank you so much for your wonderful compliment. Ill gladly pass on your praise for the lyrics to Claudia. By the way your biggest fan aced all the exams with flying colors! Lots of love, Your little one
great rock track, nice male opening vocal, your vox are great too as always
love these lines
In this dance of pain, we lose our way,
Two souls entangled, we bear the fray.
great verses and chorus held together with a great lead guitar right through the track, plenty of direction change which brings more interest and i particularly liked the end with the spoken male , really enjoyed it, i do like rock with a softer edge like this and i think it sounds good as is i understand it may not be right were you want it but its still a great work nonetheless and everyone involved should be happy with what you have created, good work all round
Hi Paul, Thank you! I knew that, as an ambitious rapper, the last part would be your favorite smile. I believe the version we uploaded today will be the final one featured on the album. Feel free to give it another listen whenever you have a moment. Warm greetings and thank you so much for your years of support. Manuela
Thank God I landed on your page while searching for something fresh-and found this! Absolutely amazing. Great collaboration-this is solid, and I super love it. Your voice came in like the icing on an already fantastic cake. Overall, a truly wonderful piece. You rock!
Pretty cool Manuela. There's a power in your voice in this one that I don't think I've really noticed before. I think you should do more rock! Cheers Zoot.
Hi Chris, thanks! Rock has always been a big part of our music. We've already released a few songs heresome of you may remember the rock duet "Believe," tracks like "Here I Am," the rock ballad "Mary," and "Ruhrgebiet," to name just a few. Admittedly, the new album will be heavily rock-oriented and feature powerful guitar riffs. But there will also be a few ballads. We plan to release one or two tracks here before the official release.
Hi Manuela,
You guys continue to blow my mind as there is no predicting what you gonna do next. Whenever I think I've heard the best from y'all, you always find a way to take it to the next level.
This one made it to my morning rock playlist. The whole production took me back to my childhood.
Enough respect to the whole crew that worked on this one. You guys rock
Hello Manuela,
I think this could be the right way to go. Your Voices are so powerful that they can compete easily with a strong mail voice. Would be interesting to know if you could also do something more soft together. Cheers, Oli
Another pearl from the lab! :-)
The twist with the male voice was a cool idea but since I'm in love with your voice, this guy should have sung a lot more... I know, this isn't a competition... :-)
Pro stuff anyway, huge congrats and my hug. :-)
Stay safe Manu.
Danke
"I like 'Labor'! *smile* But when you think about how many tiny elements come together for a song to grow from its initial idea to its final completion, you're absolutely right. It's actually comparable to the mutation of a germ in a petri dish. And if something contagious comes out of it, then it's all the better for the song! *smile*
The guy's name is Johann Dieter Krippso, JD Kripp. But since DJ Kripp sounds cooler, he flipped his initials around.
Wait, you're only in love with my voice? Now I'm disappointed. *smile*
Warm regards, thanks for your message, your little 'lab mouse,' Manuela"
Hello Manuela !! First of all , thanks for the "free download" option !!! Professional work.....! Great orchestra - Great Vocalist - Great Mix !!
And there is a catchy main melody line inside I love it !!!!!
Cheerssssssssssssssss !!!
Hello Manuela
Great lyrics as a start, so descritive as if you watched the lives of these two persons with your own eyes.
The music is Rock of course with great guitars upfront and a solid band to back up everything.
The vocals are excellent as always. I liked the male participation too.
It is amazing how extraordinarily well you can sing any style of music. Rock seems to be one of your favorites.
I always enjoy your works, they are a fine example of how perfect a music production can be throughout the whole process.
Best wishes, Anthony
Hello Anthony, You're absolutely right! Rock is definitely one of the musical genres where I feel most at home. On the one hand, because it closely reflects the energy and mindset of my band, and on the other, because rock is incredibly versatile. Think of the famous ballads, the punchy guitar sounds, and the endless possibilities in instrumentation from guitars and brass to full orchestras. And then there are all the musical shades: bluesy rock, jazzy rock, and so much more... As a singer, rock also offers amazing opportunities to express yourself vocally and melodically. So yes, rock is definitely part of my comfort zone. But, as youve probably noticed here as well, other musical styles are too. Thank you for your kind words! Warm regards, Manuela
I really enjoyed the listen and those harmonies Manuela with DJ Kripp, they are divine! Love Rock guitars, too - my only suggestion would be lengthen it it - ended too quick, was enjoying it!
Hi Kay, I'm really glad you like the song! It's actually not quite where we want it to be yetyou know how it goes. Sometimes you hit a wall and things just dont move forward. Thats why we decided to release it now, hoping to get some feedback. So the final version might still changemaybe itll even be a bit longer. *smile* But its also possible we leave it as is and revisit it after a break. It wont be the only track with DJ Kripp on the album.
Warm regards,

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : This song was not supposed to be the fourth track of "Diverse waves", but it finally is. Anyway it's a rock oriented track with some interesting sounds. I hope you like it. Worked in zenbeats DAW, by Roland.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
Description : This track was like the inhale after an exhale of aggressive industrial-electro-sludge tracks that I had put out that summer and fall. This was the more reserved, and introspective winter track. It's nothing spectacular, but I still really enjoy it. I hope you do too. Take care. V.
Description : when i was a kid you could go down and buy acid drops at the dairy - sour boiled sweets....vox, guitars and keys by me. Bass a LM loop by megapaul.
