ONE MORE DAY - CitizenMofo2
15th Jul 2019 20:09 - 7 years ago
Description : Recently I found myself imagining this scenario and so wrote a song about it. The orchestration is just a few loops by rasputin1963, levinu1, hbsamples and the great sax break by ferryterry. Written and "sung" by me, in my noisy living room, mixed with my free, open-source pal, Audacity. Hope to know what you think. Thanks!

Thank you! I really appreciate your comment. Tech support - you're the unsung heroes of the business, keeping everything running, cuz everything today depends on IT. You guys saved my ##### many's the time back in the day when I worked in cubicles (no more, thank God!). If it helps you get through the day, that's a great honor for me. Thank you!

Thank you, sir! Yes, everyone pretty much would want one more day. Yet, in a street altercation, if someone were to pull out a ##### it would likely be over in a second. And this is what would be running through my mind - as well as how fast it happened, and how stupid it was, likely over nothing. So I just try to be nice when I walk around! Thanks for your comment.

Description : This is about the silent battles people fight every day, the loneliness, grief, exhaustion and emotional burdens that often go unnoticed by the world around them. No matter how heavy this life becomes, our suffering is temporary and God's promises are eternal.
