    Hello Alex

track 1 sounds like a live played one. i like the native female sound .....
track 2 sounds like i dont know but sounds realy cool and good to me .....
track 3 is something special. very expiremental and i like that a lot.
track 4 sounds like something cinematic for me. Sounds like something is around the corner and this something just wants something. i am not sure jet what it want, so better i hide myself and wait until it is not so close to me :)

Intresting and realy good sounding mix. Sounds are cool and nice, like mostly. Loops fits very well.

I enjoyed the listen realy much!

    stay tuned

    hello Joe:)

thank you for checking some of my older work! I appreciate that.

indeed on the first track I played the 'rhodes' live - the bass and lead guitar (it's from Megapaul) are loops. Ethnic vocals by Taratoxic (I used the same acapella on the track I made with ZankFrappa) and spoken words by Janis71. Drum sequences from Ezdrummer and some other drum loops as well as organ riffs and tropical birds are loops also as well.

the second one was created after listening to tennyson's https://soundcloud.com/tennysonmusic/with-you
it was doudei who inspired to listen to their music. There are no loops on this track - just an attempt to create everything myself ioncluding synth automation and extended sound processing (I do not do that very often because I am lazy and always work very fast playing everything from the keyboard). Solo e piano improv line added after creating the main beat so it is just an another jam track.

3rd one is an experimental ambient with some repetitive melodic elements. The last one is more dark ambient even but here this is only a fragment of the full composition - the resolution of a full one is bright, ascending and luminous.

Actually there are loops only on the first track - other tracks were made only using virtual tone generators (vst synths).

I will try to contact you soon so we can finish our collaborations maybe (also the 'Hot Coffe' project).

Thank you again for nice words!

    Nice Sunday to you,
    Alex

Hey Alex....definite fav here...love the cool yet funky vibe and the way you fused the instrumentation & beat together...I like the first 2 sections best I think but the whole thing is good listening in my book....more of a Latin vibe to the second section I think...while the 3rd part reflects more of a jazz vibe....It is a very unusual compositional approach to include the distinctively different styles in one mix...but it certainly makes for a most interesting listen...

thanks a lot Ed. really glad you liked this compilation. I agree - it's quite unusual and doesn't necessarily make sense as a whole stylistical suite of pieces. At least that way I could upload more tracks I made recently...
I am happy you enjoyed different vibes of these 4 tracks - I appreciate your listening and nice comments. Thanks again, Alex

Great work (as always) Alex. Very laid back. I haven't got round to listening to the tracks you e-mailed me yet but I intend to later on today, if not latest tomorrow. Keep up the good work my friend :) TT

sounding really good. I like your laid back style. The beats and percussion are excellent. As is the guitar. It's got a real authentic live feel to it and it's hard to believe that this is all done with virtual instruments. Reminds me a little of the doors. Nice break of silence and into the second part which has some nice glitchy drumming going on and some nice soloing. The third piece has a more psychadelic kind of feel to it with lots of nice backgrounds going on. Then we have the ambient grand finale which is very trippy.
This is a pretty epic tune but if i had to pick one i'd say part two was my favorite.
I enjoyed listening to this track.

thanks a lot. this is indeed a bit unusual compilation: almost all 4 tracks are driven by my keyboard playing, even when I input pads. There's many loops used in the first one which makes it really fusion jazz/rock. Glad you liked the second track - there's no loops here, just a piece made entirely from scratch over simple chord progression. I used MrRay22 free e piano plugin for soloing (also on the first track) and added many effects to create ilusion of the live jam session. The solo was played real time of course but needed some adjustments afterwards to correspond better with the rest which is always possible when working with midi sequences. 2 last ambient tracks are probably my best takes so far on the genre - the inspiration was music from Robert Rich and Steve Roach.
Thanks again for your time and nice comment. I appreciate that. Alex

Loving the transition after (2:35) . To me its like visiting a chill club somewhere in the future. Very interesting composition you have here. Each new transition is like a teleport to various points in a person(s) life or something like that I think lol. Pretty cool altogether . Impressing me each n every time! -EazyBeatz

A little abstract in it's design, but has a style...
Just a touch off the wall for me, must say the production
    is tastefully done...
Needing a few more harmonic connections melodies for my taste...
But It's all good, nothing but some Music from where I stand..

    Nicely done...

    Peace...TG.

Really groovy fusion style on this one! I'm loving the mix throughout as well! These mini mixes that some people do around here are always fun to listen to. Really strange ambient around the 6 minute mark, I like it! You're breaking into some new territories on these, and I appreciate that! Keep doing it! Fave!

I just re-uploaded it a while ago after adjusting volume - it's louder now.
Thanks a lot for nice words - I started with recording some strange sounds using microphone on my laptop on this ambient track - the last one is based on the sample that was processed usind sound stretch software. On both 'fusion' tracks I made the keyboards myself - first one incorporates also some loops from this site.

Glad you liked this compilation. Thanks again! Alex

Description : A fat groove journey incorporating hip hop, jazz, rock and more. Chilled out and rocking, with some big riffs and basslines. The main instruments are saxophone, piano and cello plus some resonator guitar and banjo. Sax is the only instrument not played by me as the parts here were contributed a few years ago by a guy I know. Anything that sounds like distorted guitar is actually distorted cello. Loads of that, including solos, in the second half. No electric guitar or bass guitar. Not much synth work but there are two synth basses and an organ. Otherwise, it's quite an acoustic "played instruments" kind of sound. Lots of drums, including loops, multiple programmed acoustic kits and drum hits. I know Radiohead have an excellent song called Everything In Its Right Place but I still like my title and there's a story behind it (nothing to do with music). Interesting feedback appreciated. Do you have any favourite or least favourite sections? Details are appreciated...
