Description : What happens when a short but hypnotic celtic intro turns into something completely different? The most noteworthy collaborator on this track (yeah you guessed, it's Tumbleweed) answered correctly to this question! A newly patented musical genre is what happens...yes..."SlovenianCelticCowboyMusic" is born. Sometimes we just have to cut off from being too serious...The version presented here has been carefully chosen from 4856 or so mixes...
As always all thanks to my dear friend Ed who makes such wonders possible to happen.....
Description : Many might be surprised to hear music here that lies somewhere between chanson and folk.
We wanted to write a song that wasn't dominated by synth or electric sounds. The text was written by Claudia Boekels, the music largely by Angelica Schwanitz and to a lesser extent by Manuela Boekels.
We were especially looking forward to the wonderful collaboration with Tanja Wirtz, who has great talent on the accordion, and Danior, who can make his violin cry.
Description : Another simple track... Wonder if my genre selection fits for the tune. :)

Description : I was told to do a better description this time. Blast you, Dr. Evil! You know descriptions are my one weakness!
I just couldn't get this one to sound right but Micky added accompaniment that sounds great. All music is by him. This song is the 1st modernized song I know of using Mohegan language.
Translations are in the lyrics.
Please do let us know what you think about it, and if you are now afraid of zombie children in meadows.
Description : I had a lot of fun recording my last folk song, so I thought I'd take a stab at recording another one. This time I limited myself to 2 for all my vocals and instruments (guitar, piano, ukulele and organ). Enjoy the song and leave a comment letting me know your thoughts :)
Description : This is a country/folk track in a genre I don't do much, so I thought I'd give it a go. It also has some instruments I don't use much, namely the banjo, mandolin and fiddle. I got the title from a movie I saw a few months ago. Hope you enjoy, Scott.
Description : Kindofa '60s work song. Another song from my collab with Sunny War. This is the first song on our album HELP which we should get done this month. This song started with looperman-l-0498019-0072501-tumbleweed-90-g-slow-train-rhythm, a great rhythm guitar riff; the song just emerged out of it without effort. Props to Tumbleweed and his great guitar loops which I have often used. Then there were three other loops, drum, piano and lead guitar. Sunny replaced the guitar loops with her acoustic picking, using Tumbleweed's loop as the inspiration. The drum and piano loops remain: looperman-l-1703213-0101854-deathsquadktown-1994-inspired-hip-hop-drum-beat 90, looperman-l-0592478-0101770-designedimpression-piano-loop-will-power-94 g. Thank you, loopers! Feedback please!
Description : I wanted to do something different like i do normaly. And I think that I was successful.
A -drum n chill folk song-. A kind of hippie music in colorful garb of the modern era.
At the end of the track there is a bonus.
Something in the way of bonfire music.
Only minor2go with guitar and I sing all alone at ......................................................................................................

Description : A folk rock ballad done in 3/4 time.
I am performing all guitars, vocals, bass, shaker and tambourine. Drums and French horns written in MIDI. 2 Apple percussion loops used.
Description : Start the new year off with a folk song about a train, a song about taking the long way home. This one is for Stobe the Hobo, RIP.
Description : Singer-Songwriter, Folk, Piano, Indie
Description : Totally different story here as I wondered if I manage to capture the real feel of the genuine folk music which I love as much as the electronic one. I also added some classical twist like oboe or short cellos arpeggio. Very basic arrangement though, still feel more confident with pure electronic sounds.

Description : The story of "Heer & Ranjha" is kind of an Indian version of "Romeo & Juliet" ....
while listening to this song try to imagine the scenario where "Heer" (Juliet) is dying next to "Ranjha" (Romeo)
Description : Adele's Hello geared towards my folk style
Description : indie/folk, I guess :P

There is something South African about it. I love the rhythm and combo of instruments. Yet another exquisite piece by Orlando!

I do believe, yippy kye yeah. Maybe dark slovian cowboy, with a twist.
Hey friend
Havent heard to much folk music here on site, but this is great, wouldn't expect anything less, with yourself and Ed, great clarity, very nice laid back beat, very nice chill type of guitar and piano, flowing nicely with the pads used, track has a very catchy groovy vibe, most have beaten me to give you more feed back mate, all I can say totally loving the track, Fav'd...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
More SCCM for the people!!
Hi Orlando - you did it again. Unique and so, so good.
You and Ed should make a record together and go on a worldwide tour.
It's brilliant!
Cheers/ SJ =)
This is very neat! Keep 'em comin!
Yay!
You are such a talent! This track runs on repeat right now.
Besides the guitar and the atmosphere is your work with the percussions in this masterpiece outstanding. At the end i was only missing the sound of a saxophone.
/Anders
I like the new genre you guys have made, lol. This is certainly different and I like different. Lots of great comments and I have to say I agree with all of them. I do like the intro and how the song keeps me guessing which genre or direction will pop up next. It has a nice positive vibe and the mix is fantastic as well.
Thanks again for sharing your great music with us!
Wayne

Hey Orlando,
Let me say, and I don't say this often, I've never seen a track that takes so many different genres and melds them together into a masterpiece! The guitar playing had me mesmerized the entire time I listened! Great track!
Rico L.

Salut Orlando ....
A great pleasure to find yourself and listen to your production .... Excellent concept, with our friend Ed, who is always on top. Really great, you two.
I had a great time of absence here due to move, but I hope to be more diligent now.
Dan
Hey buddy, this is really innovative! Love the feel and sound of the mix, it's obvious that you spent a lot of time on it, and tried many things before settling on this version. Sax is not my favorite instrument by any means, but it fits right in with this style. Very pleasing listen in every way!
This song puts me in a very good mood! Very upbeat groove, with hills and valleys, and very nice production as well. I don't know who did what on the track, but it all blends very nice. Thanks for putting it on as a download, I will enjoy driving to work listening to it in the morning!
DOPE TRACK
There are many nice elements to this piece. It's totally laid back and chill, as I don't think you need to try and introduce a new style here. Nice work and keep it up.
Hi Orlando...well, I finally trying to do a little catch up this evening...so just had to stop by with my thanks...Once again you demonstrate the power of collaborative ideas...and when my own efforts fail me you have that special talent to take things another step forward....It is always a pleasure and I always enjoy the result as well as the process...and as always your talent and creativity shine....Ed
Hach wat schn Orlando.

Nice piece, digging the use of the sax and the guitar sounds great. The bass line carries it well. This is a very uplifting piece and i'm now enjoying the piano solo.
Great ideas going on here.

Steve
Ahh...This is very relaxing Orlando. Something i can just tilt my head back to and listen. Amazing instrument work throughout, sounding very original as a whole song. Keep it up, i wish to hear more :)
-EYEDYE
Very interesting intro with the bagpipes! When the saxophone plays, it gave a little jazz feeling at first, but with the percussion's rhythm, it's more of a western style than anything else, it's cool.
The track is nicely glued together.
VERY NICE
Seriously good track - great intro and transition. Good musicianship throughout. I think it could use lyrics but that's for the remix. Well done!
-clindsay
hi Orlando,
really nice music with some melancholic or nostalgic flavour - this sax sounds really folk-like.
I like Tumbleweed's guitar in here it fits nicely.
Your piano playing is very fine as well.
Really good song and I enjoyed the production. Alex
I've heard nearly the same like this in feeling...
Again those Quimby songs...you remember Orlando...
Now, I checked some of their tunes, they write many songs in E minor or around those chords...it's got (I mean E minor chord) some travelling attitude...:-)
Brilliant song...
Sad but beautiful and happy but hopeless as our life around the Balcanic area...
Thankx for this masterpiece buddy, the team's best as I feel and think...
Congrats and much respect, Danke
Wow. This is unlike anything I have ever heard before. Cant even figure out a way to explain it but it is lovely. Super nice man !
Really nice! More than folk. Cool fusion track.
Awesome track! Really enjoyed it!
Another beautiful rendition to enjoying life you have here Orlando51.
Really enjoying listening to your compositions. This one brightens and lights up the darkness overshadowing our sombre days. It is delightful and the saxophone just carries the listener away from the stress of life.
Faved! Keep them coming brother. God bless. - B
