Description : This is a country/folk track in a genre I don't do much, so I thought I'd give it a go. It also has some instruments I don't use much, namely the banjo, mandolin and fiddle. I got the title from a movie I saw a few months ago. Hope you enjoy, Scott.

Sorry Scott. I hit play and the song won't play for me for some reason, must be something wrong with the player. I will try again tomorrow.

Lots of energy Scott than most Folk songs I know. I actually love country music man. No not that country-pop stuff. I love traditional country- blue grass music. Your country-folk is very brilliant Scott. It sounds like a good time. You got all the right elements in it working very smoothly. It really sounds like a lot of effort went into the arrangement. Love it man, well done. You always impress me brother! I hope all is well there. A late happy new year to you my friend. Joe

Hey there, Funky Joe. So glad to hear from you and have you check out my track.

I'm with you on the trad. country, but do like blue grass too. Every now and than I'll hear one I like, but I like the fiddle and banjo in the blue grass and mountain and jug band styles which is how this one came about.

Anyway, thanks much for your kind words and keep on funkin', as I know you will.

    Cheers,
    Scott

I know pretty much bugger all about folk music but this is a nice arrangement of different instruments with lots of great parts and plenty to keep the ears interested. I like the way it progresses and switches to the electric guitar. It's all really well played and sounds nice and crisp. The violins were a nice touch as was the "three four".
    Very well done indeed.

I hardly listen to country music... (Only John Denver so to speak). But this was a lovely track, with a nice arrangement. Liked the violin part a lot.

Look forward to hear more sounds from you & will definitely start listening to more country music.

Not much into country however this has infectious flows coming from the guitar, banjo and fiddle.

Really enjoying the drums as there has been some thought in that area..as same for the whole track.

The Violin is my favourite vibe on this especially when it does its moan....is that the "Black Snake Moan"??

    Reply by ScottB55

Yeah, I'm not much of a country guy, either. I do like some of the country-bluesy stuff, though. I guess you can call the fiddle and the cello the moan!

Anyway, thanks allot for checking it out and posting your comment.

Thanks allot, James. Yeah, a little country is fine. Was never a huge fan, but I'm mellowing in my old age. I actually made a pretty good living at it back in the day.

Description : I always wanted to write a cowboy folk song, something that would have been sung by a western settler as he explored the wild west. So come and join me as I sit next to a roaring fire, crickets chirping in the background and sing along if you want to. I only used the campfire sound effect in the third verse, I couldn't find a great campfire effect so I used it enough to give the effect without it being too annoying and taking away from the song.

I used the classical guitar this time for some strumming, a little mandolin and some harmonica and some sounds of nature to add to the feel of sitting around a campfire. I sing the lead and backup vocals.

Description : Kindofa '60s work song. Another song from my collab with Sunny War. This is the first song on our album HELP which we should get done this month. This song started with looperman-l-0498019-0072501-tumbleweed-90-g-slow-train-rhythm, a great rhythm guitar riff; the song just emerged out of it without effort. Props to Tumbleweed and his great guitar loops which I have often used. Then there were three other loops, drum, piano and lead guitar. Sunny replaced the guitar loops with her acoustic picking, using Tumbleweed's loop as the inspiration. The drum and piano loops remain: looperman-l-1703213-0101854-deathsquadktown-1994-inspired-hip-hop-drum-beat 90, looperman-l-0592478-0101770-designedimpression-piano-loop-will-power-94 g. Thank you, loopers! Feedback please!

Description : Special Thanks to minor2go for the great guitar loop! https://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/78340/guitars-unlimited-sunday-by-minor2go-free-90bpm-rnb-acoustic-guitar-loop

Hey guys, I decided to try to make a track using a LM loop as the foundation! I made this "RnB" loop into something a little more "folk" i guess you could say. I added some filtered strings and tropical precussion behind it, and also gave it the structure of a tropical track as well. I actually have a youtuber who is going to provide vocals for the track so that is why some parts are bare.(so as to leave room for the vocalist to be creative with their writing) I really had lots of fun making this track and look forward to it getting finished off with some quality vocals. I haven't really mixed it well, and the bass during the drop is definitely going to be changed in the final product. If you guys have any critiques/reviews on things that need to be fixed or changed, please feel free to comment!

Thanks again guys!
Rico L.
