Hey pretty sweet house mix here! I like the basslines much! It's a bit mainstream for my ears still, but I can enjoy the vibes for sure. Reading the comments on the song, I saw you write "Old school was my generation"... I found it really interesting and funny... I'm assuming it wasn't meant as a joke right? Man, I better not drink today or I'll have to send more apologetic messages out tomorrow! Any way, very cool arrangement on the track, and the mixing sounds nice as well! Keep at it!

Yeh man, I'm enjoying this. Smooth sound and great use of the vox samples. As a crit I would try and tune the main melody vocal, from the first section,a little better to the track, its not far off but it sounds a little pitchy on a couple of phrases but thats just my personal thing.

Even tho it all works really well and I love it. The 4 min transition is superb really cool musical section, head boppin stuff.

    Great track

I dunno, i listen to your stuff and think it sounds like better old school than mine. I just chuck a load of loops together and then occasionally "paint" around them with a synth or two.
Glad you could drop in and leave your thoughts on this track.

Well, I finally had a good 10 mins set aside to give the track a listen. I saw the track for a few days now but wanted to give it full attention...even if I was surfin' the webs :)

Another great track FR. You have skills at making enjoyable music. Fun. And of course the female vocals, I LOVE female vocals. Nothing goes better with house. Or with many genres for that matter.

I thought all of the 10 mins of this track was great. My fav of yours that I've heard to date. I faved.

Glad you could stay and listen to the full track. I know ten minutes is a bit too long for some peoples attention span (especially when they just drop in to bump their own track. But hey! I think we're all guilty of that from time to time)
Glad you liked the female vox. I bought some vocal packs from loopmasters and thats the first track i've done where i was actually able to use them. Hopefully more like this to come.
    Cheers for dropping in.

    Hi Fr

liked the freestyle of samples and loops.
    Sweet minimix, upsets are perfect.
the house is a classic song that lasts for generations and will never go out of style.
you seem like oldschool style or am I wrong?

Classic track, reminds me of the old dancemusic.

    you have good taste.

    keep it up!!!!

Yeah i'm to old to be down with the kids now. Old school was my generation so the sound has kind of stuck with me (and i've stuck with it)
I agree that classic house will never die so i'll keep on plugging it until i can't do it anymore.
Cheers for dropping in and checking this tune out. Your comments are always welcome.

    Sweet track FR,
It really reminds me of a track that is quiet popular here lately, it features almost the exact same bass with the same notes (so now I know where that sample came from haha)

Love the mini mixes you make like this, the sound is always pretty neat ;)

    Cheers

Just for a second I thought I was going to hear one excellent track!!?? Should have known better! Three of course!! Track 3 is the stand out one for me, track 1 then 2. All good of course! Nice synth @ 2:18 !

Cheers. It's just too easy to hit the ten minute mark when you're using loops. Hopefully it's not ten minutes of paperweight (AKA Helmet Mayonaise) I would have like track three to have gone on for longer but i ran out of room so just had to settle for a fade out.
Cheers for listening as always (I see my number one fan is back with eight downloads to her name. What's with that chick? lol)

    FreeRadical
    Reply by FreeRadical

It's more loops than it is me, i just added a copule of sawer synths to part one, The bassline in part 2 was my own as was the synth that came in at the end. The last part was all loops. Cheers for dropping in and giving it a listen.

Thanks mate. Ten minutes is about the longest audacity can handle before it starts losing quality so i like to do slots of roughly three minutes per track. This one over ran a bit at the beggining so i had to cut the end a bit short.

Mix sounds super duper! Great transition between the first two parts. Some old school sounding laser effects. Vocal samples are cool, that last vocal bit was different. Some good music dude, you have been on a roll lately.

    Hey friend

Very nice deep house, excellent beat, really liking the vocals in this piece, adds something for sure, very nice arrangement mate, this is the type of tunes played in my fav caf here in Perth, going what I have heard with this one I think it is prob better then some played there, liking the changes and the synths/pads that come with the changes, keeps it very interesting, Fav'd... surprised this hasn't receive more reviews mate....Peace n Respect...Mosaic...I have put up a progressive house type of track it is the first of the long tracks had featured in forums about size, this is Trilogy One part one 12.04 minutes long uploading part 2 tomorrow...

Thanks mate. It's mainly just a bunch of pro loops that i just built around. The trouble is that they sound better than what i make most of the time so it's just far too tempting to use them. I haven't written a full track all year because i've bought so many loops and i feel it's kind of taken something away from my creativity. Ah well, as long as some people like it i guess i shouldn't cre too much. cheers for dropping in and leaving your thoughts.

i was already expecting good deep house vibes from you but that track just killed it. my favourite DH tune so far from here.
i can tell this is good because it reminded me of the first jimpster mix i ever listened to, many many years ago. still remember exactly how that made me feel and i realised what the "deep" in deep house means. it was the first time i was able to enjoy it fully, just "getting it" - and i got ecstatic... :)

    excellent work man, feels fantastic

Description : I had this amazing vox: https://www.looperman.com/acapellas/detail/5256 and drums by Eos and Mmedia to work with and this is what I came up with.
The acapella is from Porter Robinson and Mat Zo's tune Easy, so technically it's a remix, but I actually heard the original after I made my own song around the vox so it's not similar at all...maybe that's a good thing, I don't know.
But I really did my best with this one and tried to use everything I learned so far while mixing and mastering and I'm actually almost happy with the result.
Work in progress though...the piano comes out in one ear and the vox in the other so something went wrong anyway. =D
Edit: I'm NOT happy at all anymore - hearing all the flaws now...
Feedback will be much appreciated!

Loops used are by the great Joe Funktastic, various vocal chops I've collected from Looperman and another loop that I used for the middle that I need to search for the creators name. I'd always wanted to use it, and felt it fit here.
