The distorted vox is the depressed voice, and the Clean Vox is the outward shell many of us present even if underneath we feel like shit. Very rarely do I sing, but I tried to use the distorted sound under the clean sound as sort of a counterpoint, weak (often out of key, depressed voice), While Showcasing the veneer we tend to present daily to each other.
