This is my first time listening to this, its really great. Definitely downloaded. This has all the elements ha. Very talented, and loved it, thank you!
Love the piano work you did here. The beginning was almost a teaser, I was so getting into it and then it changed about midway through and I was so impressed with the direction you took it. Nice composition. Great use of the strings also. Very nice piece of music, enjoyed it very much!
Once again you have produced a class track ( had a listen to some of your other tracks as well) and I am just amazed at your diverse talent! back to this one...just great work and like the most of the others, the piano work is faultless. Great job.
Hi Johnny...just getting back to you on that video thing...had it on my youtube channel for a while but took it down a while back..Its a big file but I do have a squashed down Flash Video copy thats under 13 mb (not good quality) I would be happy to send you if you like...just message me if you want..my youtube, soundcloud etc stuff is under my studio (WestTracksMusic) banner...keep on...Ed
Hi Johnny....I hope by now you aware that you have a special talent...I hope you keep feeding it and doing your music...My impressions are from several things...the compositional thinking and choice of instrumentation....the expressiveness in the playing and the way you use the spaces (as well as the notes themselves)..the way your tune carries the theme that was in your mind and the pictures it paints for the listener...I did a track last year to support a video (time lapse) of the night sky so have some appreciation of the beauty and shines through the darkness.....great job....keep on....Ed
Well I am not aware of myself possessing a special talent, I am aware though that people view me to have a special talent. Slight difference but it doesn't matter ;)
I am really glad though that you enjoyed this and left such a kind comment.
If you want you can message me the song you made, would be interested in hearing that as well. Especially with the timelapse along it, it makes up for something really nice.
Ah man, you are only 17 and you have such mad skills. This really is impressive work, and shows a great deal of knowledge on your part, specifically on the compositional side of things. You have a bright future ahead of you. Just keep doing what you are doing - brilliant work. I hope all is well.
I like the contrast of piano to stuttering sound at 1:45, that’s a real nice play on sounds. Good tune overall. Very Midi instrument oriented. You have used Midi to it's extreme indeed.
Steve
Just for the record, I didn't use Midi to record this, I would have gone mad then with the amount of editing I constantly would have to do with this slow pc not keeping up hahaha
Your description has truth within it. A contrast between two sides with equal balance in a gran sense. I do like the keys here, is what pulled me in. When the keys and strings played together sounded vivid sense it allows to pass. Cool melodic arpage. Gives the story more of that contrasting element to glue multiple images together. I think you just created a video out of sound. Good job, thanks for sharing and keep creating those moments in time. Peace,Dave
Hey dave,
Thanks for the comment, I am glad that you could find the contrast in this like I did. It feels like a huge compliment to hear I created a video out of sound, might just be too much but thanks a lot ;)
I will try to keep things like this up but mostly they come to me whenever I feel like it so I can't promise to release a lot of these haha
....Johnny are U sure U're 17years old ?!!
U're making me disapointed about myself ...this considered pianO & thoughtfull arrangemenT seems to be written by someone even more throughbred than me & it shows your high inteligence quotient...just my friend I think U may better to categorize this as cinematic or classical ...it's imagery but maybe cinematic more than ambienT(no electronic elemenT U have in it ) to me ...althought this is my idea ...anyway beyond the genre , U're a rare tallenT Jean...
(ps:oOoOps sorry i went to mission and forgot to listen those 2 sent piece of yours !now I'll do & write my idea in email...wacky me..!)take care.___B
Haha don't worry about it behnam, you shouldn't be disappointed of yourself. Everyone produces differently and we need that diversity to keep music interesting, you add in to that diversity because you compose differently then others which makes your music interesting to listen too ;) Same for many people out here which is why I like to post stuff here and listen to these tracks. Without this music would eventually stop to impress and stop being interesting...
I don't think this should be classical due to the synths added, cinematic maybe, though I don't picture this behind a movie. But I might change it if I keep receiving comments about that haha
This was one of the tracks included in the mail haha, I will see your email coming I guess. Hope you are doing fine further my friend ;)
Hey steve, I suppose you are talking about "the foreshadowing" as a band? It reminded me a bit of "dark tranquility" but then without the harsh vocals and only with clear ones.
if not then explain me what you meant else haha
Thanks for the kind words further,
great appreciation for the kind feedback I am getting ;)
Ohh Johnny this is a beautiful peace.Five seconds in and i knew this was something special. That piano work is so dope man.Good piece homie, keep them coming.
A big thank you benjizo ;)
I am glad to see you enjoyed it, I don't know when I will release something like this again but it will surely happen some day
Thanks for the kind words and take care
I'm really appreciating your composition on this piece! I do like piano, especially now that I own one, so listening to how others use piano sounds is inspiring to me. The build that starts half way through is quite impressive and emotional. I can definitely see why you put this under ambient, as it seems like the sounds are digital... to me that should be one of the differences between ambient and orchestral. I enjoyed listening my friend!
Hey spivkurl, thanks for leaving a comment. So I will see some piano coming up from you soon I guess? That's cool to hear.
Yeah I don't own a piano (do own a keyboard) and I don't really have a plugin that allows me to simulate a realistic piano as of yet, plan on getting my hands on one of those soon.
Thanks for the review and glad you enjoyed it ;)
Amazing - loved the transitions - piano at 1:48 is perfect - strings at 2:20 as a lovely contretemps to a great transition at 2:55. This is truly masterful - beautiful yet clean and understated. Great work!
-clindsay
Hey clindsay,
Thanks for the enthusiasm I see ;D
And the kind words, It is great to see such appreciation and to see that others indeed enjoy it.
It is one of those things that keeps me going
Ahh yeah it could indeed be more orchestral then ambient, I usually put my piano stuff under ambient though but this features a lot of strings too so I guess it could fit in both
Further thank you for the kind comment, I am glad you enjoyed this and found this interesting
Description : Headphones are recommended for a more immersive experience :P - - - A weary American soldier is walking through the remains of what used to be a small town in the middle east, only to rediscover the horrible reality that sometimes war can affect even the ones who have no part in it.

This is my first attempt at creating a virtual environment to tell a story and convey emotion. Hope you enjoy! Comments are welcome!
Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice
Description : This track contains several loops, all of them are from looperman artists - listed below. I don't know if "ambient" fits well for it, but i get most loops from that category. :)
Inspired by the Final Fantasy series and my ex girlfriend. Hope you will enjoy it (not my ex! :D). As always, free to use for a song, any opinions-critics welcomed... UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!
Description : Working with DarkKZ by Beatskillz, Synthmaster 2.9, Waves Bass Fingers, Microtonic drum synth, Izotope nectar 3 elements, Ozone 8 Elements & several other plugings I'm trying for the first time. The vocal samples are from Ghosthack, LANDR & Sampleswap. Hope you like it. Cheers.
Post script: The word "Ambient" has come up several times in the comment section for this, so I switched the genre to that. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it.
Description : Ambient, psychedelic chill out rock or something or rather. Lyrics, vocals, guitars and keyboards myself. One drum loop used (free Loopmasters ambient pack). If you want a bit of a back story on the words check the lyric page.
Description : I made this with Garageband and was inspired by Anime music, such as Naruto. And if you noticed one little part is very similar to one of the melodies.
Description : EDIT: I adjusted the ending as per Paperkup's suggestion. I like it better. Maybe you will too.
The realization, and inevitable acceptance that the last ember of life is smouldering into obscurity. Then finally, and peacefully, exhaling the final breath of life.
This is a dark ambient track that will go between two of my other tracks. A good pair of headphones/earbuds are highly suggested for this one.
Opinions and criticisms are welcome. Enjoy, and take care. V.
Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
Description : I intentionally made this song minimalistic. The drums I spliced together from some drum loops I had, there's one other loop in the mix, the rest of the instruments are played by me (bass and synths). I used the excellent (and free) Cakewalk z3ta+ vst and the BBC Symphony vst. My intention was to create a very simple and dream like ambient track. Feel free to download or comment. Feedback is always welcome. Thanks.
Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
Bye
Description : Ambient, Chill Out, Cinematic .... I´m not sure ... Take your headphones. Close your eyes. Start the engines and have a ride into the unknown. A spacy little trip from somewhere into anywhere outside. - U_P_D_A_T_E - I made a video to this track. So you can enjoy now the flight with open eys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON4u0bRZJ4k
