So I'm not quite convinced that the track is at 120 BPM. To me, it sounds more like 78 / 156 BPM. Regardless, I accepted your drum challenge and here is:
Hi Steve .
thanks and I'm really sorry about late reply .
I'll be really glad to see what you may do with this one .
feel free to contact me , if you need anything .
thank you very much again .
Hey, this is just excellent rock music! You know it has to be good, as it can stand on it's own without drums very easily. The riffs are used creatively, and you've got some cool panning tricks in this one. I guess my main request would be making the gain a little more gentle, either in mixing or mastering. Really it's so cool this way though! Did you ever find anyone to do some drums? Faved!
Well if you haven't yet found someone to put beats on this track then let me offer my services! It's great. I like the changing mood of the track and how "wanders" in all kinds of directions. Please contact me through my profile if you would like some help with this track.
heii YEEEEEPP !! :)
Holla Richie :)
thank you much much for accepting my collab request .
i'm going to send you a loopermanian message through your profile .
can't wait to see what you gonna do with it !
:)
Elena
I am way late in catching up with this one Elena...but glad I finally did...this is good rocking stuff...reminds me just a little of a group I used to listen to a long time ago (Steppenwolf) who did many of my fav rock songs...good straignt forward arrangement..those little drops/breaks work well...You should finish this one...some banging drums would be great and maybe a couple of short screaming lead parts...well done ladyinred......Ed
:) Ed I'm proud of your kind words .
about drum i wish someone can help me ...
i'm not really good abiut beats ...
and regarding screaming lead i wished someone like Behnam or you was kind enough to do that !
cause i can't play lead guitar.
Ed thank you much much for the words.
i appreciate your time and comment .
:) Elena
hello. at the beginning of your track the mix of your loops is not so cunning and that is "heardable"(while playing the song with my headphone). in the right ear the sound is too loud, in my opinion. 0.22 second is disturbing. the second bridge is very beautiful.
Hello
you might be right !
generally i don't know and don't care about mix and mastering too much !
currently my focus is on my composing skill and
electric guitar playing , but i should learn mix later ..
i respect and appreciate your comment .
:)
thank you much much for listening and for you dropped
these words in my box .
Elena our tallented mentalitY & musical skill has improved & this is sensible buT this is 4th track of yours I remember in A & E & tempo about 140bmp ...
best wishes..__B
yes Behnam you are absolutely right !
it's wonderfull how you recognize scales!
good point and worth considering .
i shuould try on the other scales and tempo too .
i appreciate you much much Behnam .
very usefull comment as usual of yours.
take care my friend. :)
Elena
It's an expression that gets over used in my opinion, but this really does ROCK!!!
It's heavy, grungy and a little bit folky at the same time.
You say you want a beat added to it. Why not just go to the loop section and look for some drum loops? There's literally hundreds of them.
Failing that i guess i could have a go but it sounds like a pretty challenging piece and it could take a while.
Great work here, i'm pleased i listened to this.
FR
i know how should i find drum loops but i haven't
used drum because i know nothing about drum and my beats
never satisfies me ..
you're wellcome to gonna do something about drum
i appreciate your kind words and time to comment.
thank you much much.
:)
Like the energy - the drop starting at about 1:09 could be longer - it has interesting riffs. Like the balls to the wall aspect of this one - could be sick with a collab.
-clindsay
That was fun!
You have some of my favorite music ingredients in here!
The guitar around 1:05 is really "darkish" ... and the final part is intricate ... I like it!
Looking forward to hear it with a beat...
Ciao, Domenico

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : This song was not supposed to be the fourth track of "Diverse waves", but it finally is. Anyway it's a rock oriented track with some interesting sounds. I hope you like it. Worked in zenbeats DAW, by Roland.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
Description : This track was like the inhale after an exhale of aggressive industrial-electro-sludge tracks that I had put out that summer and fall. This was the more reserved, and introspective winter track. It's nothing spectacular, but I still really enjoy it. I hope you do too. Take care. V.
Description : when i was a kid you could go down and buy acid drops at the dairy - sour boiled sweets....vox, guitars and keys by me. Bass a LM loop by megapaul.
