Hey, Matt. I missed this track when it was first posted, but discovered it today after I heard your latest (very quiet) track. This is really fine piece of instrumental work. I'm am very impressed. You have woven in various orchestral instruments really nicely. I particularly liked the oboe, which is one of my favourites. I felt that the fade out ending wasn't entirely satisfying, but that's my only quibble. I must now listen to your other tracks since it appears I've been missing something really good for too long! :)

wow this instrumental is breath taking.
I haven't been on LM for quite some time as I've been caught up in other agendas but this was such a pleasure to come back to I feel like the current vocals don't do a justice for the mood.
    Wanna send me the instrumental?
Thank you for this beautiful rendition :)

    Hey Bonnie

Really pleased to get this message from you on Christmas morning (!)...

Delighted you like it so much. I think our styles blend pretty well in terms of emotion and storytelling and the overall sound, and I would love to work with you.

Let me know the best way to get the instrumental sent (ok on LM?)

Perhaps send me back the new dry vocal when you get a chance, and I'll remaster the whole thing as I think I can do better this end too :)

Really pleased to hear from you!

    Best wishes

    Matt

P.S. For now the HQ version is here:

    Beautiful!
Very nice instrumental underneath Bonnies vocal.

I could kill for that piano.
    Is it a real piano?

    Thanks. Glad you like it...

It's the best piano VSTi you can get (in my opinion!) - it's called Ivory II.

I use it every day on everything from trance to film scores, and it comes with a load of perfect piano's including that one (Bosendorfer 290 concert grand). I used an Altiverb reverb on it (the preset was a rehearsal studio with distant mics).

It really needs a weighted keyboard as the midi input and a sturdy sustain pedal as the software responds very subtly to different finger pressures.

Hey thanks - thought I'd try a 'non house' version for a change...something more laid back.

I actually stopped myself from 'fixing' the timing on the vocals, as I'd normally do on a dance version, because I guess a singer would naturally be ahead or behind the beat in a live performance - as maybe that kinda wakes you up and means you pay attention to the lyrics..?

Such a great voice and story on this one - she's amazing!

    Cheers

Really nice rendition. I had to check it out, since we did a version, which is quite different. It's on our page if you want to check it out. It's quite interesting to hear another style. Very good job! I'll bet Bonnie will love it.

    Ciao,

Description : Many of you know well that Tumbleweed & Orlando collabs are pretty much well established tradition within LM society by now, and here is the newest example to reinforce that tradition. It's probably the last this year (yet never take it for granted) and I think it has (although not particularly intended) a bit of that seasonal celebrative nature, thus fitting quite well into this festive feel of December. Despite providing it's share of melancholic tones (you can bet who is responsible...haha...) it's a quite happy tune overall...and it doesn't bite, so you're all most welcome to listen and comment !... As always my sincere thanks to Ed !

Description : The spring is in full motion over here and I guess it helped me quite a bit to complete my part of the job on yet another exciting collab with maestro Tumbleweed. Most of our collab works contain at least some aspect which demonstrates something out of ordinary one or another way. This time we got a peculiar combination of mysticism and merciless attacks of soapiness (my bad....haha)....So let's listen to hear whether I'm right or not!....:) As always on such occasions, all my thanks to Ed !

Description : Hi guys another vocal from me, this time Matthias gave his blessing. It's to his beautiful return track chillout vibe. It's a tribute to my closest here on LM. My voice a few ways including, the balls to do a harmony channel too. There's 30+ shout outs, so listen up, you may here your name. It's community based and some of you play characters. Switch the fucking volume UP, it's a builder. Love the Stokesey and Cyber lines :))) Sorry girls it was a lads love in.
