Moving Reimagined - Kingmt77

Name: Moving Reimagined
Duration: 291 s
Channel: kingmt77
Description: Updated. This is a complete redo of a Jazz track I wrote a while ago and uploaded earlier this year. I attempted to re-edit and remaster the original, and it bit me. So I bit back and here's the result. Jazz with a Latin flair. For those interested, I mastered this using the HUM JAAL mastering limiter. I'm loving that BEAST! Take a listen and share your thoughts Enjoy! Mark

Ive got to say, I hear some African humba-tumba around 3:27, and I love that added vibe! Dont bother Googling humba-tumba, though. Its just my way of describing that African music feel around that spot, haha. Love it, man!

kingmt77 replied 18th Oct 2026 - 2 weeks ago

Richard its official! The new sub genre is Humba-Tumba LOL! Thanks for circling back one more time. The fave is appreciated in a huge way!

Dont think i heard the original but the drums here really pop compared to some of your other stuff. Did you say you were using new equipment? Whatever it is, it sounds great man

kingmt77 replied 26th Sep 2026 - 1 month ago

Know this, When the SQUADD is in the building, It's on and crackin. New equipment? Yep! Once again............another learning curve. The stop and critique with the SQUADD fave is most appreciated.

Peace,

Mark

Your drums are always on point man jeeze that bass thats how to play a bass and the guitar and keys are sweet. A band i was in years ago the drummer was taught by a jazz teacher and when we used to play fast beats when you watched his hands they were in slow motion he was some drummer i like your drums man Great track :)

kingmt77 replied 26th Sep 2026 - 1 month ago

Robin! Thanks for the visit. You being a bass player and the comments you left is over the top. I've come to know and Cosmo mentioned, that if you want to be proficient over many genres, Jazz is the one to tame. Thanks again for the comments, compliments, and fave.

It's good when you find a good bit of kit eh? I use a Softube Weiss limiter on my master bus and love that thing too. Anyway, this sounds brilliant to me but your stuff always does. Plenty of high voltage energy in this, but some butter too! Crazy rhythm's!! Cheers Zoot.

kingmt77 replied 25th Sep 2026 - 1 month ago

Chris, thank you for stopping by. It's good you enjoyed what you heard. High voltage energy is what's up. I also have used the Weiss in the past. Back then my computer was severely challenged an as soon as it loaded my CPU started screaming LOL. The feedback and fave is appreciated.

Peace,

Mark

Remastering can be quite an undertaking. But reimagining? That's huge. Looks like you achieved as good a result as you could've hoped for! Smooth as butter

Aaron! Always good business when you show up! Thanks for the once over comments and fave. Have a bossed up weekend

That Latin flair combined with the jazz structure is pure gold. The piano lines and that subtle vocal blend together beautifully. Outstanding musicianship mate.
Take care peace

What's up Mark,
I missed getting to comment on this track before this version/remix
@ 1:40 that change is where this track really goes into the stratosphere
then again @ 2:40. I think the reason those two changes in particular hit
me so hard was, I've used both those samples as well as that Latin piano, adding the Vocal with it was genius, context is everything. When you use them they come to life.

Great track..Faved...

PEACE..From the East...

kingmt77 replied 23rd Sep 2026 - 1 month ago

Rob! When the music in our hearts and heads gotta have expression, sounds coming from anywhere will trigger them. With me it can be a sample or a synth preset. That's why what we do is therapeutic. Better than chicken soup for the soul. Ok I'm finished waxing emotional. Thank you for the stop and comments with the fave. Not to forget our ages old friendship.

Peace,

Mark
