Thanks. Yeah, I usually find myself working in the Rock to Hard Rock genre, but it is always nice to get back to the blues. Thanks for the listen and feedback.
This really can be a good soundtrack to a Mafia game or movie. I think developers and directors really should go out on a search for music that regular people can produce because this is awesome.
Feels very real.
What I mean is that it doesn't smack you in the face with sounds that feel empty and cold but instead provides a familiar warmth.
It's rare for music to have that anymore.
Well done!
H TV...just stopped back for another listen & let you know that if you are looking for a decent FREE B3 organ type VST check out one called ORGANized Trio...its not as good as the Native Instrument expensive version but for a free one its pretty dam good...gets lots of good words on the blogs...besides I just enjoyed some good ol blues-rock again....keep on...Ed
Thanks Ed. Sorry I just got to this. Being a UPS Driver means a hectic 6-8 weeks during Thanksgiving to New Years. Appreciate the info, will check it out. Also appreciate you listening.
hi, very raw guitar blues improvisation along the track... it is absolutely fascinating listening to you playing eventhough you're only using some simple repeating backing track... great jamming and lots of interesting blues riffs just to enjoy and to listen to...
really nice work.
Alex
Thanks Alex....yes I laid down the rhythm tracks first and then went back and just jammed to it. The lead was done in one take. Glad you dug it and I appreciate the kind words.
Great comp here Vega. Sounding pro with the guitar playing, drums have a nice light mix to them. But that makes them alot more enjoyable. At least for me, clean mix too. Jamming, reminds me of the tunes we had playing on my intern a while back. Nice one man, peace
Thanks for taking the time to give it a listen and comment bro. Always appreciative of the support. This really was pretty much a jam. I remember I had just smoked a big fat bowl of some Kush and I was feeling pretty good. The whole lead was done in one take after the bowl. Your kind words of support mean a lot. Thanks again.
Hello my friend...thank you kindly for taking the time to listen and review. Bluesy shit is my core...Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, it's all still gotta have that bluesy core. Thanks again for listening.
Thanks bro...I appreciate the kind words and support. It's what keeps me going. I was looking for that old school 60.s-70's CCR sound. Thanks for taking the time to check it out.
this one has that live sound that is hard to come by these days (or so it seems) topvega...nice up front sound....reminds me of those Saturday night dance parties....very nicely done & like the bluesy-rock touch.....Ed
Hey Ed, thanks for the very kind words and the support. It is greatly appreciated. I am always striving to get the sound and tone just right. I am a big fan of the "live" sound as well. Thinking about adding some Rock organ or harmonica to this. It still feels a bit naked. Thanks again.

Description : Of all the classic Monster tales the Wolfman is definitely one of the saddest. Cursed, and destined to live as both man and monster. During the day he sits alone with his guitar, a prisoner of lonely existence, crying his heart out through his music. Then at night, the beast emerges, and in the dark under a full moon, he cry's as he rips the hearts out of his victims! Such is the life of a cursed bluesman!
Description : This is a country swing song written by Angelica Schwanitz. Also included is the brass band from Olaf's Jazz Combo. They're at it again on this new bluesy song, reinforced by:

Description : This is a tune dedicated to my friend, Nancy, who followed me to the clubs I played at for years, and is still following me with my studio work. Why do I dedicate this to her? Onnacounta cause she's soooooo naughty! She never liked violins, but loved her sax! Here's to you, Nancy. Anyway, this is a little blues track with some nice guitar and sex...oh, sorry, I mean sax.
Description : A sultry, seductive, and fairly short acoustic blues number. It is an instrumental and only took about 2 hours to write, record, and get a decent mix. Enjoy! Updated: I added some slight echo to the electric guitar and widened the stereo fields of the acoustic rhythm and leads.
Description : Felt like doing a Bluesy track. Getting used to working with Addictive Drums. Still have a lot to learn. Reviews and comments, as always, are welcomed. Drums: Addictive Drums Guitars and Bass:myself
Description : Miguel Flores, vocals. Jean-Maurice Humbert-Droz, lead guitars. Laurent Schwaar, guitars. Roland Sumi, bass. Richard Pizzorno, Hammond. Laurent Wirz Drums. Loop from josephfunk (rhodes). Composed by Miguel Flores.
Description : guitar on right run thru my friends mesa rec 25. It has an absolutely gorgeous tone. The guitar playing D, C #, B is run thru guitar rig 6. The the pushed back guitar on the left is also run thru the mesa. My UNC chapel-hill decision letter is coming out tomorrow and I'm super stressed. Whipped out my guitar and recorded some stuff. Hope you like it.
Description : Fresh out of the studio after 10 weeks of deliberating, planning, writing and performing.
This could be classed as Country Blues or Southern Rock...either way I think it may get your toes tapping. So grab your partner and jump on the dance floor with this one.
I am performing the following instruments...vocals, electric guitars, slide acoustic, bass, harmonica, organ. I wrote the following instrument parts in MIDI....drums, percussion, piano, horns. This was a beast to master but I think it turned out okay.
No loops used.
Description : UPDATE 26/01/2014: Improved loads of things in what is probably my greatest chillout alternative blues piece. Ambient, ethereal, groove-based delta slide blues. Contemplative and melodic. Multiple, layered , sometimes shimmering resonator guitar parts with solid, warm synth bass, an ethereal bed of pads (which are actually guitars) and second electronic drumkit to contrast the acoustic kits. I thought this was perfect a few years ago but it wasn't (and still isn't). Now has clearer drums and lots of small awkward bits of guitar have been trimmed. Quite a minimalistic and short piece for me - I don't just keep bringing in new instruments, as I usually do. This should really chill you out...

I love the blues!! Addicted to playing it on my cigar box guitars now B-)
Yeah I also love to step back into just heavy Blues feel from time to time. It is like a soul cleansing at times.
Thanks for the listen and the comment.
