Description : Whether lost in the morass of our thoughts or the rumination of our lives there is one inescapable element precious to all of us and this is The Air We Breathe.
Planetjazzbass/Arrangement/Production/Fretless Bass/12 String Guitar.

Description : A track I did with a friend ages ago. I play the guitar and he sang and wrote the lyrics. The lyrics came mostly from headlines in the newspaper that sunday. Recorded using a crappy old microphone direct into cubase with a few overdubs
Description : Just an acoustic/piano piece I threw together a few nights ago when coming home from university. My brother and I were doing some acoustic music together in my room, just having fun; came out with this; I immediately got on my DAW and recorded it before I forgot how ti went lol. Hoping to get some strings on it soon as well as some vocals from the bro! :P In the meantime, enjoy this instrumental.
Description : Here's a lil' acoustic instrumental I never wrote words to. Used a Guild acoustic guitar mic'd with an AKG C214 and my trusty ol' Yamaha MOX8 for other instruments (excluding shaker - that was real ;). You can find the guitar loops to this song on my profile page. Maybe one of you looperpeeps can come up with something for words on this. Otherwise, enjoy le moosic :3
Description : This is an acoustic cover of the song "Come As You Are" by David Crowder. I recorded, mixed, and mastered this one in two days! Almost done burned me out haha! Hope you enjoy!
My older brother does the lead vocals and I do everything else, from instrumentation to harmonies. No vocal-editing whatsoever in this one. The guitars were all one-take recordings. Updated the audio - I added tambourine hits in the 2nd and 3rd choruses; just helps make for a more moving song.
Description : This track contains only free loops from several Looperman artists. Enjoy! There is a drumless version too, with completely different atmosphere : https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/181322
I wonder, which one do you like better?

Description : It gives me great pleasure to upload this track I did with Richie. Usually we work "backwards", with him building a track around my vocs, but this time his instrumental came first. I love it's encouraging and motivational lyrics and as always Richie's care in making EVERYTHING perfect! :-) Totally didn't know what genre to put it in. Enjoy.

This is a surprise, for those was young in 1999, for the beloved Patricia (and the gift of her voice) and my brothers Nous2 and Jamid, kind people i met here. Let's go crying guys, hope you enjoy.
Description : Working on my acoustic recording quality. What do you guys think? I'll extend this once it's closer to completion.
Description : This track contains loops only, from the following Looperman artists:

Description : There were two separate tracks in work, but who knows why I got tired with them and then decided to merge them (or at least what left from them) into one piece hence they originate out of same musical purpose. No worries...no world war was ment here, except my recent personal one...haha...and you don't want to know about it.:) It's not real etude by any means, yet it's quite alot about practicing...practicing...
Description : This is my attempt at the one-hour challenge for LM (finished at 57 min 48 sec). I had to mix/master on the go and this was the result. Some bad chords here and there that I did my best to conceal, one-takes on guitar and piano and used an awesome acapella from a1000times, who wrote the words that Dikaiko sang over. I really like her voice. Anyhoo yea, I like this one a lot so probably gonna come back to this in the near future. Comments welcome.
I got the acapella here: https://www.looperman.com/acapellas/detail/7656/marauder-feat-dikaiko-by-a1000times-132bpm-dance-acapella
EDIT: This track has been updated. I think I'm going to call it finished :)
Description : BEAUTIFUL guitar with pianino chords. This is sad guitar. But this guitar have a positive mood.
Description : I put this under acoustic even though I did use a couple midi tracks. I felt they sounded acoustic enough to put the track in that category. Suppose it could be chill out as well, however you want to label it, do so. I used an Indian flute and an electric guitar sounding plugin with some tremolo added along with acoustic guitar, mandolin and harmonica. Nothing too complicated here and I felt it sounded good enough to upload so enjoy!
Description : This track contains only free loops from several Looperman artists. Had to thank once again the excellent loops to their owners - i think the result is one of my best tracks ever, plus have a slight spaghetti western like feeling which is cool ... Hope you will like it too. :)

Saw you on line so i thought i'd drop in. Yeah i've already reviewd this track but who says we can't stop by more than once? It's a brilliant piece and i personally think i might even stop by and give it a third or fourth review. Kind of reminds me of something from Pink Floyds "Division Bell" album which i happen to think is a bloody good album. You've pulled a masturfull mix off here and grabbed my attention without even having to stitch a squid to your face.
I'm just going to kick back and chill to the rest of this piece then i'm off to superglue some crabs to my nuts.
Cool trumpet by the way.
FR
People already said it all, what can I add? - Just wonderful. A very pleasent listen!
This is real smooth man. A breath of fresh air in the morning. You make really good music and I am glad I came across this right now.
Talk about atmosphere from the stormy intro to the chill guitars to the spanish trumpet. Nicely placed together, sir. Really inspiring piece. Keep it up!
oh wow classic stuff
This is really nice. Love that dreamy guitar then that latiny trumpet and smooth, smooth synths. Real pro job man. Thanx for sharing your talent.
Kenny
very nice. cool collab
I love your work on the bass in this tune. The percussion is also fantastic. Is that a theremin I hear in there? Nice brass as well..
great song
Steve
THIS MUSIC FOR THE MIND NICE!!!
TERRIFIC SONG
Just as I suspected, beautiful, professional masterpiece, GREAT JOB!!!
This is a beautiful piece of work. I love the 12 string guitar and the trumpet. I love the flow and the melody. It's like taking a walk on a spring morning and breathing in the fresh air and watching the new life grow all around and feeling the sun on your face. You know you just want to SOAK IT ALL UP. That's what it's like listening to your song.
Outstanding! An instant classic: everything is perfect.
Again a wonderful piece of music: thanks!
Domenico
PS: of course I looooove the bass part. Simply wonderful!
Dave, this is absolutely beautiful. The instrumentation is just fabulous!! I am moved emotionally by music and this has done just that. I take long drives at times, just to clear that day and this track will be accompanying me on my journeys.
Thank you for your exquisite talent.
God bless,
Twanna
This is why you are a looper legend Dave, pure listening pleasure. After about 30 seconds I knew I was going to dl this one so thanks for sharing! Sounds great, mix is great, all the instruments are so defined and clean. I just made the move to a new imac, logic, ableton setup and I may be using Ableton more and more to mix. You seem to have Ableton pretty figured as far as mixing and mastering go, it really does sound fantastic Dave. The horns are a great touch, glad you added them and the rain effect was nice.
Excellent job Dave, you always come up big, this one is sweet!
Wayne
Ahh, thats how you should do it.. You OWN that bass! A little treble-ish but that's one awsome track!
Guys.
I am blown away. I mean outa the park guys. Top notch in every aspect.
My hat goes off to you both.
Fav'd.
Mark.
Ah PJB! I saw you pop up in the corner so I thought i'd drop in and check out your latest feature.
I thought it was going to be a bit abstract when I heard the birds at the start but then it just rolled nicely into a piece of music that to my ears is a little bit like Pink Floyd vs Jose Padillia.
An excellently put together production if I may say so myself.
FR
Whats more JazzPlanet is your original sound . A true artist always puts there mark on there music and when i hear this track which i downloaded a while back on another profile, i must admit your one of the artists that always brings me back . Thanks for sharing your talent
Some tracks are timeless . This song never fails to enlighten a journey or inspire to achieve such a positive messege ..
pristine.. great for a drive to the mountains on the way to a hike halfway up. very peaceful & melodic. fav'd !

The title fits the track to the ultimate bone. The mix on the sounds are perfect to me. I enjoyed the arrangement work and the overall concept. Let's keep breathing. PEACE. THE MACK MAN OUT.
Sweet track here PJB. (Excuse the acronym) You've definitely been one of the top professionals on here as far as standards go for a final polished "sound" for you tracks. Everything is as clear as the rain. Agree with bear on this, real instrumentation is important and although i do most of my works electronically/digitally I still care about it's outcome. Would like to at least to learn to play piano, by far my favorite instrument. This a really great track though man, wish i had half the gear you guys had! I'd be busting out tracks at this quality too. The title is a fitting representation as well, and the music is the perfect advocate. Intelligent stuff here, respect.
-And you cracked me up a little with your post on MrFunk's thread just now realizing I am Neobane aka Neoenigma aka many aliases really lol And just so you know, the respect for you and any other long time members of this site has always been there. If i have not apologized for my adolescence in my "Neoenigma" days, i apologize now sincerely. As we all learn from growing up, and that's all i really needed to experience in the first place. And at that time, i was not in good place in my life. So apologies for the disrespect on all those pointless threads. peace!

Hello Dave,
I have always seen this song pop up on the featured section curious to play it but, something I was holding me back. Almost as if something was telling me to wait. I am glad I did because this great collaboration hit me strongly at the right moment I needed to hear it. I got that weird feeling of a "known mystery". The way this song starts and slowly wraps around the listeners ears, traveling far out there in wonder of the lost and empty, blinded to real matter I now see. The guitars are very well produced along with that percussion. The beating heart. The mellow pads and horns, to me represented the ripple of my life flow. All the elements flowed as one and that's a hit guys. The air we breathe truly is precious. Thank you for sharing this with us. You really did create an experience worth realizing. Stay strong wise man.
Peace,
Dave
I would give every loop i have away to just produce class like this!
This is pure blissful masterpiece and as good as it comes!
I've just melted in to a big pool of blissful lush!
Superb original and pure class.!
Full Respect to you!
WOW!!! Now thats music!! no repetition no samples no recycling...just original ideas and visions being channeled through your finger tips while your hardwired brain allows your hands to translate its emotions through the medium of your stringed instruments....this song is beautiful and breathtaking.....im listening right now and the trumpet solo just came in......I do know that you have respect for what I do but not to be offensive, right now i feel like a physically disabled person watching people frolicking in a park on a beautiful spring day....I really wish that I could do what you do!!! Magnificent Work!!!!!

Hello, my friend, nice to see you're still here and creating treats for the ear. This is a sweet track. Love how the thunder augments the ambiance of the piece.
Simply beautiful :-)
John
you take your time developing each section - allow the listener to sit with something for a while and you develop everything in a smooth well-integrated way. and you hold a mood, even as you add colors, variation. some of the reasons I like your stuff. could go on and on, not even mentioning strong technical level. criticism? maybe there is a more subtle way to transition from intro section to main section. all the respect in the world for your work. cheers. Dan
When it stopped, I fell down back on my chair ... ouch ! What a delicious walk in heaven both of you offered me this morning, Dave ... ! I'll surely go on listening to this miracle-like masterpiece again and again . Need a great deal of air these days and thanks to you, I know where to find some now .
Cheers,
Janis ;)
Truly lovely masterpiece here Dave!!
Duuuuuude No wonder you get so much response THIS IS AN AMAZING SONG! The structure, the sound quality. the leads the arrangement and quality and where they fit in the musicionship. everything is right on. You've inspired me to start a new mix tape. Looperman stuff that is of varied genre but that just can't be denied.
Man I don't know how I missed this one!! The ambiance at the beginning really sets up the anticipation and then BAM! That nylon pops in magically outstanding production. Love the little whistler you have and calmness of the trumpet -a lot going on and its right on the plate! I did a song with Short Bus Music a while back called Dawn that had a very calm beginning check out if you get the chance! Beautiful and GREAT PRODUCTION!!

Hiya Dave
Mate sounding very Aussie this piece,so many elements, reminding of being back in my country hometown, extremely great clarity of the mix, can not fault this in anyway, massive credit to you for this little masterpiece, thank you for the journey this piece takes you on...Peace my friend, hope life treating you well on other side of OZ...Peace Mos...
Elegant, crystal-clear production values.. While the song is just perfect as it is, I'd also like you to get Seal or Sting on the phone, and tell them you've got a little somethin-somethin you'd like them to hear. Because I can totally hear Seal doing well,... Seal over this track. Mad props.
The dynamic detail in that intro...you really have to listen, it's great!
This is so peaceful! Its just sways along like clothes in a gentle breeze. The changes being ever so subtle, yet there, [moans]...sorry lol. That trumpet...so perfect right where it is, so good!
You guys have done a great job with this! Thanks for sharing :-)
Hey Mr Planet Dave....Really beautiful track you got here
love the instruments and clarity..very professional.
makes me want to learn guitar..maybe someday before I'm gone. I enjoyed it.
Have a good 1.. Mr PD
Jody
There is nothing better than listening to REAL instruments being PLAYED by people with TALENT. While many of the "computer playing musicians" fail to realize this, your work here graphically illustrates why live instrumentation is so important.
This is beautiful on many different levels, food for the soul and the mind. A tip of the hat to you and Detleft for an amazing collaboration. Keep playing those instruments guys.
And keep the hits coming.
Bear
PJB,
When I listened to this track my headache went away almost immediately, and when the sax kicked in I started calling for my wife for some love time. I think the track could be subtitled "marriage councilor". lol. Seriously beautiful track... beautiful!
Dave, I don't think I can use enough superlatives to compliment this track enough to do it justice!
Jeez, simply stunning music! It truly does deserve a much wider audience!
Stunning! I can say no more.
Ever since I was small I always wanted to play some kind of string instrument, whether it be a Fretless Bass or guitar. My fingers are just to dang small lol. I could play a little guitar but not at this level.
I guess that's why I went to playing the piano instead. I have to thank my grandfather for that, he was an awesome guitarist and pianist. This composition right here is truly amazing. It deserves to be playing in some Jazz Radio Station.
Keep doing what you guys are doing. This is truly an inspiration. Take care.
Choppy aka Doc aka Steve
I'm upcoming artist and I wanted to know with your if I could a song to your track because my goal is not only to be successful but to bring great producers to recognition like yourself because this piece of music that you put together is amazing so please get back to me about that because you're work is very splendid.
This one is a tonic for the ears and mind Dave...an inspiring collab guys....much enjoyed, and thanks for the dl....Ed
breathing and balancing - crafted and immediate - gymnastic
Hi Dave
What a wonderful piece of music you have constructed here. The sound quality is outstanding - it sounds very "transparent" and beautifully layered. It's a lovely journey and the transitions are so tasteful. Bravo my friend. Quality in musicianship, arrangement, recording and producing. Great collaboration. Excellent listening. Top stuff.
Richie
Very subtil, not only a music, it's a great and emtional one. The wind fills up my head with beautifull pictures.
Thanks a lot
Stunningly superb piece...
Dont know why but it Reminds me alot of the track Belle from Notre Dame De Paris feat Garou.. which is a fav of mine.
Loved it. you are supremely talented.

Sound, and mixing enables us to follow you on this path .... and share This musical moment....
Congratulations to the participants, and thank you for this moment of reflection .... I particularly appreciate.

Dan
A great musical journey you take us on here guys. A great mix of elements, super playing from you both and a top production job. Super stuff!
Jamie.
Hi Dave
Totally loving everything about this beautifully textured atmospheric creation you and Zappo have conjured up, real magical performances from you both.
The production and mix is splendid and the playing is just sublime.
This partnership is a true blessing as you two create some awesome music as a team. The question now is what to do with it? I suggest you look up Sentric music on the web as this lot are looking for music for commercials and film etc.. This is right up that alley...
Cheers, Slap...
